Another great Emirates flight. Hope you're keeping track of each aircraft you've flown on, with your travel schedule it won't be long before you've flown the entire fleet. Flight looked really relaxing, hope the South African sleeping potion worked. Cheers, looking forward to the next video. 😀🥂🥃

Emirates definitely has a good product. The sound made by the flap extension/retract mechanism can be heard all over the aircraft, regardless of where one may be seated. Many years ago I watched a video of a 747 being prepped for departure from LHR to SFO. The taxi fuel planned for LHR was 1000kg. The pilot mentioned that at busier airfields like JFK, they plan 2000kg for taxi fuel. Impressive figures! Thanks for the video!
Choose the right seat! the A380 is even better with the right view. I would do something in the last few window seats of the first cabin or just behind the wing. Have a lot of fun!!
@@TheLayoverAviation absolutely 😍, paid some extra Euros to get the preferred window seats. Probably near the bulkhead. Eagerly looking forward for an upgrade paying the extra charges.
I flew that EXACT same plane A6-EVF back in Aug 2021 so glad to see you fly on that also EK service is phenomenal even if ur flight is so long you will still enjoy hope u enjoyed your 16 hrs flight to SFO with them
Hey John, have a lovely one! The upper deck economy are the best. Too bad the lounge on the aircraft is off limits 😞 I’ve got an A380 flight with QR filmed to BKK but my experience wasn’t all too nice so I’m doubting if to publish it or not.

Thanks a lot Andy, really. Super nice words. So of course BA will come, weirdly enough I’ve got status with oneworld and don’t really fly BA but that’s only because there is always some strike or whatever planned at BA or LHR. And each time I try to go something happens. But I most certainly will! Just need to find the right opportunity..

We requested, waited, and for sure you delivered the best trip report 👌 ❤ The EK A380 on the bangalore route is relatively new, just 5 years old. Loved the product and service is always a pleasure. Gonna try it in November....Hopefully
Indian flights are always full on EK, Indian government is not willing to give more seats to them. Now that Air India is on course to be one of the biggest airlines in the world there is very little chance of EK getting more seats. As much as its difficult to match the seamless service provided by EK never underestimate the TATAs, they are masterminds of business and have footprints in every corner in India. Very interesting times ahead for this market .
You’re right but competition is good. I do love this trust that everyone has in TATA but turning an airline around will take decades. Offering the customer more is easy. But changing the culture is hard.. There are 10’s of thousands of employees who still have the old school way of doing things chip in their minds. But yes, I do believe the possibility to be one of the best is there, it will just take time. Thanks for writing!
10:21 Well, I have the same thoughts and I don't feel as much satisfied when my A380 flight is too short, I wish it was much longer. Also, very recently, I flew on Turkish Airlines in a B777, and that flight was empty, but it only took up to 4.25 hours, where I was in the same situation as you, all three seats were empty, for me to get a nice nap, taking all the three seats, but the flight was short, and there was up to 1 hour of turbulence, which created quite a huge problem, so I at least got to sleep across the three seats, but with my seatbelt on. I also flew on TA, in a Dreamliner, for a similar time, and the turbulence issue was when we were getting into Dubai. However, I can say that an empty flight in a B777 is much comfier, and probably the "newer" B787s too. I wanted to sit next to the window in the TA B787, but I couldn't get to do it, I wanted to try to test the shades of the windows, but then I realized that all the window seats are occupied, so then I had to sit next to the aisle. I mean come on now, 787 also has a lot of legroom, so I can manage sitting next to the window, and also since it is a flight for up to 4 hours, it doesn't matter anyway, it was a nighttime flight. However in the B777, when I got all three seats for myself, next to the window, it was probably the best inflight experience that I could have. Also, I think this was last year, I flew on an EK B777, and I sat next to the window for up to 14 hours, and then I felt sick sitting next to the windows. Well, in Emirates, I don't think that B777s are the best planes. I also flew on a B777 in TA very recently, and the flight was in a situation where there are more people than seats available, so then the crew had to put in more seats, and I experienced a shortage of legroom and it wasn't comfy after that, then I had to compromise for quite a while when that is the case. But, fortunately, when the flight was drawing to the end, I ended up gaining more legroom, when the plane was going a bit faster, then only I realized that it isn't really the best to go onto flights where there are more seats than people.
your videos are absolutely perfect and enjoyable to watch, the content, the information everything! It was amazing to see your growth from the very beginning! when I ask this question please do keep in mind, I am an aviation enthusiast and a teen. what is your profession that allows you to travel so much, everywhere? id definitely love to know more bout it and pursue it!!!
I make it precisely for people like you. I used to be in the same place. I hope to tell my story more precise in the future but for now there isn’t much I can say due to some exclusivity contracts. So basically I work in the hospitality and travel business for a major company. I represent them. My career started when I was 18. I already ensured that whatever job I took it would have to make me travel. And I dated girls in other countries so I would have to fly over all the time, haha. I’m addicted to flying. Since I was a kid my father and more family members were either pilots or working for KLM, so I would staff travel a lot. My advice to you is to join any airline as anything, but pilot and cabin crew are fun. Get the staff travel perks and make the most out of life. Never rely on your job or on an employer; always do something on the side for yourself. I do the same. And even the stuff on the side make me travel, such as owning properties abroad, having a wife from a different country and RUclips. To the point: nothing is impossible and you can do whatever you want as long as you work hard for it. I love food, drinks and planes and finally I earn money doing what I love. Greetings from New York!
Great vid! I flew from Delhi to Dubai on their 300ERs, great product. The uttapam and idli you had, I had it on my flight from Dubai to Chicago, tasted great. I’m jealous the A380s are only deployed to Bangalore and Mumbai, cause Delhi can handle the A380, heck, I saw a SIA A380. And yeah, Indian airports are so congested. Took me around 2 hours to get from entry to after security, it was chaos. Wish you could’ve posted this sooner so I could see what I expected, even though it’s not really the same route. -Arnav from Columbus, Ohio
No wonder Emirates is using there a380 on this route, the load factor is insane. Also amazing video as always, I was wondering if you could review Gulf Air on their newest route to Singapore no one seems to have put up a review on economy class 🙌
The connecting flight to SFO was 100% full with not a single vacant seat. And on a weekday! But this is my case with Emirates most of the time. I simply don’t understand where people are going and how they get the time off. Good you mentioned the Gulf Air flight to Singapore. I’ve got it filmed in Falcon Gold but it didn’t turn out too well.. So it’s kind of been lost in my archives. I’ll try to make something out of it. It was a funky flight as we were only 20 passengers or so!
The funny thing is emirates fills more seats than air India from BLR-SFO, than air India direct from BLR-SFO. AI REALLY is lagging behind so hard, and don’t give me excuses, they had 2 years to do smth and all they did was buy aircraft from good airlines.
But I’ve got no business at all in Salzburg! It’s just one of those routes that I would have to fly in my time off just for the sake of filming it. I’ll never say never, but it’s not in my short-medium term plans for now..
Hey.. I have booked the same flight. It says only 7 kilogram cabin. I have 6.5 kilograms of cabin and a small bag to carry passport. Will they allow it?
I few BLR-DXB-BOS on Emirates in economy a few years back (rebooked from LH during one of their strikes). Middle of 3 on a 777 for the shorter leg, and a middle of 4 on a 777 for the longer leg.
So my tip n1 is to always prebook your seat. I promised myself I’ll never ever fly in a middle seat again unless it’s between my family. And by the way, as an anecdote; my horrible middle experience was also with EK to Boston about 8 years ago! I had 2 very large people on both sides so was claustrophobic.
@@TheLayoverAviation at least for me, traveling on a 220 (viz. Lufthansa) ticket that was rebooked onto EK about 6 hours before scheduled departure and not having an EK PNR, online seat selection was a no-go. Tried to buy a J upgrade in DXB and the agent saw the 220 ticket and refused before checking whether there was an offer.
@@TheLayoverAviation oh yeah that’s true India’s humidity is very high so when the plane lands and starts to it’s gate, it literally will fog up and yes India is still a developing so not that much places have electricity!!
Another nice video as usual! Why is the no smoking thing in the lavatory also written in Russian and Bengali alongside English and Arabic? Do Bengali and Russian people smoke so much? Please try to review the Singapore Airlines and Qatar A380 so that we can have a head to head competition of the world's 3 best airlines according to Skytrax.
Good question. Yes they do! It’s probably in the top % of on board smokers. I’ll fly SQ in a week from now and I’ve already done the QR A380 but never published it as it was just terrible. I’ll eventually publish the video in May I think. But skytrax is a scam for me, I don’t even remotely pay attention to it. I hope to do a comparative next month!
It’s clear why India loves Emirates. Great video.
They really go out of their way for them. But it’s the same in almost every Asian country.
It’s all Pakistani to Pakistan, same to Japan etc etc. very good 👍

Im your biggest fan ❤🙌
I’ll make sure not to disappoint you then!
your videos are absolutely perfect and enjoyable to watch, the content, the information everything!
@@TheLayoverAviation got it! Thank you!
❤Emirates Airlines including cabin crew onboard
Always a great bunch of people!
Good to see my city name in ur video ❤
What a relief from the Indigo B777
I know, right?! 😃
Amazing 👏 alex
Thanks Geofrey! 👋
Soon Singapore airlines will start airbus A380 from Bangalore.
@@MrKumail123Where did you hear that?
Hola mi amigo soy de India he aperindido Espanol me gusta mucho España bueno video gracias desde andha Pradesh India

It’s not planned in the near future, but who knows!
Thanks for the compliment!
Where does it usually land in T3 ? A B or C? Could any one please answer.
Can't wait for following vlog to SFO
Just started editing, oh Lord the work I have ahead😅
15 hours is a lot!
See you next vid!
Just the video I was waiting for! When are you coming back to try KIA's T2?
As soon as it’s officially opened I hope to go asap!
@@TheLayoverAviation It has, AirAsia and Vistara are operating out of it..
BLR - SFO happens to be a very busy route with loads of techies flying to and fro.
@@AnikethSharma True!!!!
@@TheLayoverAviation US flights from the gulf are always jam packed no matter the time of season😂😂
The funny thing is emirates fills more seats than air India from BLR-SFO, than air India direct from BLR-SFO. AI REALLY is lagging behind so hard, and don’t give me excuses, they had 2 years to do smth and all they did was buy aircraft from good airlines.
Fabulous airline!
Always a great experience. It makes it hard to fly with others😞
Amazing Trip Report. Please do remember my wish as well its Dubai - Salzburg (Fly Dubai) Please make sure to make this possible as soon as possible.
Emirates A380 is really comfortable ❤❤❤
Widest seats in economy by far!
Worlds best airline Emirates✈✅
Beautiful video ❤
I was not able to capture A380 when it first landed at BLR, I missed 😔
And on January I missed it again on 5am departure 😢
Amazing! Are you Indian? Seems like you know lots about India
which date was this ? I was at the same airport on the Qatar flight on 11th April
Nah, this was somewhere win March I believe😊
I Love Emirates🇮🇳🇦🇪❤
have you flown on Emirates A380's new Livery aircraft?
Not yet. I haven’t even sean it in real life!
Nice Trip-report! I hope you do a international flight out to Cochin please?
I’ll do my best!
Thanks for watching 😊
The new Runway O9R takes a long time to reach for takeoff. I once wondered whether the Pilot will taxi us to Mumbai. 😃
I cut it short in this video but it took an incredibly long time indeed, well over 20 minutes!
Quite the waste of fuel..
Whenever I fly to India or leave India I always see pitch darkness and the windows will fog up, why does it happen?
It almost always happens to me, specially on arrival..
It’d the humidity. And the darkness is just not much light away from big cities..
