@TheRatdogMan Yes, that is correct. In paper chromatography, the mobile phase is the 'solvent'. However, the 'solvent' can be composed of more than just one liquid organic.
I think we should consider the sample must be thermally stable. If the sample degrades at high temperature in the column, we won't get the results we need.
OMG.... his comment on "third world where they do not have computers and use rulers vs. the modern world..." so funny! So they could have a GC but not a PC in 2013!!!
