This is amazing. I read these books years ago. Even have the books in a flat. But eyes are not what they used to be. This is fantastic. I’ve been listening to wheel of time over and over for years. Now I can binge on these. Thank you so much for the download!!
I own a hard copy of every Raymond E Feist book spanning three decades, and the "Empire" trilogy with co-writer Janny Wurts are my favorites. Despite the occasional mispronounced word here and there, this narrative by David Thorpe is superb! Thank you
I have just finished listening you narrate Magician, Silverthorn and Darkness at Sethanon, a wonderful experience. Would you seriously consider narrating the entire Chronicles of Thomas Covenant series. Few could do it you would be brilliant.
I had never even heard of these works and I've been hooked ever since Magician thanks to your uploads (I think magician was done by another youtuber but the narrator is the same) either way. Nice books and thanks for sharing 👍🏻
if its the one i saw that guy says Guy like ghee and this guy says Guy like guy so i think they are different people, i remember some other voices are different as well. cheers
I was a Friday nighter in my own little RPG circle back in the 80's - when I first read Magician. Friday night often became Saturday morning 😁. Midkemia Press I remember well, Tulan of the Isles, Jonril: Gateway to the Sunken Lands. Really enjoyed listening to the previous three books - takes me back to my youth. Cheers👍
What would make other people writing down the answer in a reply work better than for you to just read the info that has already and very clearly been provided? No really? The name of the narrator is properly provided so that not one single person ever has to ask it. You decided that doing that on your own is just too much effort to read so now you have done even more effort writing down the question and also expect other people to make an effort to hold your hand at every single thing you deem yourself too important for. Blegh.
@@sandoumir4348haha and in your case it would have taken you 3 seconds just write the narrator’s name but you took the time to go off on this random person. Maybe they are a kid or old or just don’t go on you tube very much and don’t know to look in the description. Anyway, I get it that stuff does annoy me too when I’m in a grumpy mood…which right now I am because this narrator doesn’t do the next books in the series and the one on audible it so different and not good. But yea I was here to find the narrators name too. To the original commenter In the future, they say it in the very beginning as well
The word spelled chitin is pronounced KY-TIN in both British English and American English, look it up, the narrator mispronounces several words in both British English and American English languages. American authors should employ American narrators, this set of trilogies would have been done nicely by professional narrator R.C. Bray.
This is one that nearly always get mispronounced in audio books. Others that come to mind are shone and wrath (though I think wrath rhyming with Cath may be a salted tea thing)

This David Westfall fellow in the comments is quite annoying
It's pronounced Westfail.
Just found your channel as I was starting this series anew. Amazing voicework! Looking forward to going on this journey once again!

The narrator mispronounces pinyon trees as pine-on trees.
The word brocade has 14 pronunciations in the British English language.
Great book from my youth, terrible narration.
