Not sure what ur setup is or if youre at 4k here but you should try turning off the load distant chunks option in your horizon settings if you havent. On a 2060 laptop Im able to play at a similar fidelity at 60+fps, no weird loading affect at the edges of my actual view distance, and no stutter.
@@theblueaxolotl2669 tbh if it doesnt stutter usually, it might be cuz you're also recording at 4k at the same time. Maybe recording at just 1080 would be fine
@@theblueaxolotl2669 If your DH render distance is turned to something absurd, distant generation will constantly be trying to render in chunk by chunk beyond what you already have loaded (I assume preloaded using chunky, if not I recommend doing so then turn off distant generation.) Its possible that playing and recording at 4k is causing it all but I have a hunch a few setting changes could make the game smoother without sacrificing much in graphics.

What mods should I use next with distant horizons?
Bro's pc is dying
It renders the stuff from far away a low quality but it's so far away you can't even see the difference
you can even see the framerate
The point of distant horizons is to load LODs past your render distance, up to your DH setting. Lowering either would help with the stutters
i just wanted to load a big render distance. I think i could change thee LOD quality or cpu setting. anyways thanks for the reminder!
try adding towers of wild and dungens arise the big structures look amazing also MVS's floading islands look awesome too !

idk why it was stuttering that bad. Maybe it is because of the lod quality setting.

The stutter is mad but it looks great! Although, try bobby instead of DH, personally I feel it's better. Still good though!
How did you merge them and have all the mods close by?
