I’m 6’ 230lb, though not as muscular , I bought a carbon hybrid bike , and difference paired with GRX , violated to alivio is huge . Were your ultegra cranks aluminum?
Have you ever cracked aluminium or carbon frames from reputable brands ?

My Ultegra cranks are made from aluminum. I have not yet cracked an aluminum or carbon frame 🤞 I have however, cracked a steel surly lht.
