I really like this podcast but I feel like the last 2 episodes have missed out on getting great info to us about the artists. Brooke V's episode was great at getting into her come up, but lacked discussion on what happened after Girlfight. This convo did the opposite, skipped Eric's come up(which is helpful to those who are unfamiliar) but discussed industry situations. I hope the coming episodes will be a bit more balanced.

Eric probably deserves a part 2 as well so we can get his backstory because not everyone knows; I discovered him based on “I Don’t Want Her” but idk about how he got to there. The first few episodes were well rounded and it’s kinda wild that a producer got the most airtime compared to the actual R&B artists on here. lol no shade tho because this is a great format that can do great things for the genre if we support it. Just round it out for us! 🙏🏽
Eric has great music before I don’t want her. Born ll sing album is where I discovered him but he probably has music before then they should definitely touch on his artistry and song writing

Also just kinda wanted to note - for me the less dependent I am on sex or wanting it, the more independent I can be as a man; the more independent I am, the need equates to less dependency on a woman. Which in the long run actually brings out healthier and longer lasting dependency relationships. But that has to be said for both parties, woman and man. Thanks again for the episode! Hopefully see you and J live sometime.

@@jewelterrell1707 neither do I. I need my singers to sing. The R&B is dead debate from my perspective is because these new digital singers. They're heavy on the autotune and reverb and I just can't get with it. The songs sound redundant with the same cadences as everyone else. The music feels empty, cold, lifeless and or lacking substance.
Damn near the best song writer in the last 5 years for sure. The pockets he jump in and out of crazy. The Melodies timeless the heat just hits different. Fire Music. Bro it’s about time people show him some love. I’m a man and it’s weird how much I fuck with this dude music. Almost suspect how many songs I know of his. I gotta sometimes dial back and play some nba young boy and Boosie to add balance to my playlist. Big Fan.

I had a nanny till I was 16, but she transitioned to a house manager. We grew up with her, she came to my dads funeral twenty yrs later. But Yal mommas were dying slowly to meet everybody’s needs. In regards to Tank’s moms , They did because they HAD to. If you have the funds, provide your significant other with support because postpartum depression is real folks.
