Can you also show what happens when the password of the CAP account expires? Once the device is provisioned, I do not think it shows up again under the "waiting for sign in" section. Hence, does not allow to remotely sign in once provisioned. Correct me if I am mistaken. Thank you.
If the CAP account expires, you will have to go to the actual device and sign in, either via the on-screen keyboard or Web Sign in. This is one reason we do not recommend using password rotation. Let's hope the remote sign-in feature becomes a standalone feature that doesn't require the provisioning step.
Do I understand this process that I still need to have physical access to the phone/device?
Correct. Someone will need to power it on, click the gear icon to enable remote provisioning mode, and then enter the provided code.
