looks like I'm a couple years late to these videos, but your channel has been helping me so much with these business exams. I'm underprepared and running out of time, but your guides for paper 1 saved me this past Monday! Now going into the final stretch, paper 2 tomorrow. Thank you so much for these videos and wish me luck!

Hi there, this is not recommended if it is further knowledge or analysis - in the evaluation you want to make a decision or recommendation, preferably based on the issues you've looked at earlier in the answer.
Excuse me sir, so for tomorrow’s paper 1 exam it is confirmed that their will be no marks for application in part e of every question? Also another question, what’s the mark scheme answer for the definition of motivation? I can’t seem to find it anywhere :(
Good question. I base my guides on the specimen papers for 2020 and the June and March exams in 2020 where the questions were in the format in my updated RUclips Tutorials. You can find short definitions for the key terms here www.caiebusiness.com/keywords-flash-cards/
Hello, first of all thank you for this awesome video. It's really useful. God bless you. Second, I want to ask if In the evaluation part. Can I state a new strong point (that I haven’t discussed in the answer before)? For example. If the question is Do you thing being a sole trader is the best form of business in a competitive market? Answer: -Being a sole trader can benefit as you have control on all decisions as there’s no one to discuss with, this can give more satisfaction -However, this can lead to less ideas as no one to share different knowledge and experience. This can lead to low quality decisions. - I think that being a sole trader is not the best form of a business as there is limited capital for expansion, which can lead to difficulty to grow which can lead to difficulty to survive especially in a competitive market. Can this answer score 6 marks?
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, it is not possible to give individual feedback to students on their answers, as this will mean I have less time to create videos and resources that everyone can benefit from. Thank you for your understanding.
Hi Sehrish, I'm really sorry to hear that. I'm currently trying to resolve the issue. Which browser are you using? I have found some issues with Mozilla Firefox. If you continue to have problems send me an email to info@caiebusiness.com and I will set the account up for you.
Yes, I can understand why it gets confusing. The grade thresholds depend on each specific paper. Best to focus on doing your best in the exam and aim to get full marks in every question.
Hi there, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, I can't really give individual feedback on different students answers. You will find loads of examples in the online courses at caiebusiness.com. However, keep in mind that if a business is large it doesn't necessarily mean it will be successful.
@@EdsEssentials thank you so much for everything. My said I only needed three random to support my decision in part (e) paper 1 I just realised it isn't the case. He said I couldn't say yes and no and support my answer just one of them is enough.

Hello sir, are the IGCSE free gifts free or do you get them along side with your membership?
Hi there, this video is from 2020 - we now have an IGCSE Business skills guide available www.caiebusiness.com/business-exam-guide/
I would like to know if we have some keywords for evaluation?
Thank you for the question, what do you mean by keywords?
I want to ask if In the evaluation part, can I state a new strong point (that I haven’t discussed in the answer before)?

@@EdsEssentials Okay thanks

Hi sir, may i know is it true that getting 86/160 marks (54%) for igcse business studies is consider an "A" ? (base from 2019 Oct/Nov Grade Threshold)
I think so, am not the sir but I think that it is true that 86/160= A
For Option AY
Justin Tan yeah for variant 12 and 22

can i say ''external recruitment will be expensive. However since the business is large and successful, costs may not be an issue'''?

@@EdsEssentials its alright thank you! but if my answer is not included in the mark scheme does it mean its wrong?
The mark scheme is usually quite comprehensive. It is up to the examiner to decide if you have fulfilled the criteria for each question.
Cambridge Business Essentials A-level & IGCSE can I start the evaluation with ‘in my opinion........’?

Is the marking for 2020 going to be different due to bad coverage of the syllabus which results from multiple lockdowns?
