    speaking as someone who owns a GWR 2301 class in BR black it's a reliable locomotive and is great on the goods work as long as i run her on smooth level track.

    I've got the Dean goods with snowplough! I would happily have the wd and rod ones aswell but I'm probably gonna stay with one!

    Sam's first Dean Goods model was a recipe for disaster. He got a new one as a replacement, and the engine is a much better performer. I love GWR engines, but not exactly the Dreaded Dean Goods engines as I call them.

    why not mention the motor is it the pole tender drive
