There's some... charm that the first game had that's kind of lacking in this sequel. For some reason, I find the first Thief Simulator more entertaining and fun to play. I mean, Thief Simulator 2 isn't a bad game. It's just... it doesn't have that same... something that I can't describe, that made the first Thief Simulator fun for me. (Edit: I think I figured out what it is. The first game was kind of... sincere in it's crustiness. Like it was really trying to create a good/cheap game but ended up with a crusty game that had fun elements. And the unintentional crustiness added to the fun. With this one, the crustiness seems intentional. It's like they're intentionally trying to create a crusty, game full of comedy because they saw that people thought that the last game was funny. It's like intentionally trying to make a bad movie. It's not right because the best bad movies are movies that are completely unintentionally bad. I think that this is the case with this game, here too. You can't intentionally add crust to a game and make it work anywhere NEAR as good as unintentional game crust works.)
