    Good video and information but get rid of the music. It is distracting from your message.

    I wonder if this is why my back gets injured every time I do kettle bell swings. I quit doing them after the second injury.

      It's not the same issue. You have to create a movement pattern of hinging the hip without losing lumbar stiffness in slower controlled situations first and later implement this in higher intensity movements like wings.

      You’re doing them wrong. If you’re new to kettlebells, start with a light weight 25/35 lbs and work on getting your technique right before in creasing weight.

    This is great but can you do a snatch grip high pull from a hang position with the external rotation needed with a kettlebell or two? You switched equipment... I don''t have a bar.

    How about a double kettlebell high pull? Thanks

    • @BuffBody
      @BuffBody  4 года назад +2

      Yes, that works if you pull outwards, the elbows up and back

    If you don't do a full extension on a high pull, then you're doing it wrong.

    is this exercise building your acceleration on a field if you play football?

    • @BuffBody
      @BuffBody  3 года назад +1

      Whenever you use your glutes in an explosive way you're working speed and acceleration on the field. So yes!

    My wrists hurt when doing with wide grip like this

    • @BuffBody
      @BuffBody  3 года назад

      Either try a closer grip, making sure you still externally rotate your arms or switch to dumbbells. 💪

    I do not believe you can say that something is better or worse. That is the biggest mistake in the fitness industry. It is discrediting you. It is should always be it depends! Individualist.

    • @BuffBody

      In most cases we agree, but if you watch the full video you will see that the sumo deadlift high-pull is an unhealthy exercise. No matter how you tweak it.
