  • In recent years, there has arisen doubt in some brethren within the church about the third Person of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit, actually being a Person.
    Pastor Bohr looks at the Biblical record, as well as the writings of Mrs. White, to confirm who or what the Holy Spirit really is.

    I thought this preaching is about God, however i found out that this preaching is made to promote someones' writings that declairs "seemingly" to be of God.

      But scripture says Jesus is God, and the in which the author he quoted is in agreement with.

    Who is the authority the Bible or Ellen white. Very confucing. It should be Scripture alone. Miss leading, very sad.

      There’s nothing that is misleading here. The Bible says that GOD is the commander in chief. GOD gives orders it’s HIS angels who will carry out orders. Just like the President of America he gives orders but it’s his armies who go after the war or execute orders. Same principle with the government of GOD.

    Pastor Stephen Bohr, your sermons are always a blessing BUT BEFORE YOU PREACH, when you pray, is there a reason why you STAND for the prayer?? Do you want people to know that you won't buckle your knees, and bow in humiliation before the Great Godhead Whom you claim to be speaking for?? Have you read Testimonies for the Church Vol 5, pp.491-500 by Ellen G White "Behavior In The House of God"?? I believe that it may not be necessary to kneel every single time a prayer is made in Church, but at the beginning of the sermon/preaching it shows reverence for God. You err on the side of NOT KNEELING at all. That is a sin.

      Un-honorable Judge--who are you to judge Pastor Bohr? Accusing him of sin?Maybe he has bad knees like I do--look in the mirror before you accuse others of sin.
      "Judge not, that ye be not judged." Do not think yourself better than other men, and set yourself up as their judge. Since you cannot discern motive, you are incapable of judging another. In criticizing him, you are passing sentence upon yourself; for you show that you are a participant with Satan, the accuser of the brethren. The Lord says, "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves." This is our work. "If we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged." 2 Corinthians 13:5; 1 Corinthians 11:31. {DA 314.1}

    Twice Paul said "There is ONE GOD THE FATHER", ( 1 COR 8:6. & Eph 4:6 ). Why did he not follow this statement with 'The Son & the Holy spirit'? Not ONCE anywhere in God's Holy word does the word 'trinity' or its definition' occur. So who are we to believe? God's word? or a council of proud bishops conviened and influenced by a family murdering Roman emperor 300 years after jesus! Hence at the council of Nicea held in Constantine's summer palace. The whole set up could not have had the blessing of th Holy spirit according to |James 3;13-18. Much argueing, shouting fist waving, excommunications back and forth. How different to the peaceful, reverent coucil in Jerusalem recorded in Acts chapter 15!. It was even ruled that those NOT accepting this unscriptural doctrine ( and there were many!) would be cruelly executed!

      Paul is showing the Father is the HEAD of the Godhead, not that the Son is not God also. John 1:1-2, Rom 1:20, Col 2:9

      @@Nirky The Bible does not explain God in His Nature, but it does have a lot to say about God’s work in the plan of salvation. Looking under this glass, we see the Father, Son and Holy Spirit working in unity.
      Jesus says: Go baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28. If Jesus says, for me it is enough.

    I disagree with the presentation, we cant say when God send His angel to help us then is the omnipresence of God. God is everywhere through His Spirit.As Seventh-day Adventists we desire simply that our position shall be understood; and we are the more solicitous for this because there are many who call themselves Adventists who hold views with which we can have no sympathy, some of which, we think, are subversive of the plainest and most important principles set forth in the word of God.
    As compared with other Adventists, Seventh-day Adventists differ from one class in believing in the unconscious state of the dead, and the final destruction of the unrepentant wicked; from another, in believing in the perpetuity of the law of God as summarily contained in the ten commandments, in the operation of the Holy Spirit in the church, and in setting no times for the advent to occur; from all, in the observance of the seventh day of the week as the Sabbath of the Lord, and in many applications of the prophetic scriptures.
    With these remarks, we ask the attention of the reader to the following propositions, which aim to be a concise statement of the more prominent features of our faith.
    -I-
    That there is one God, a personal, spiritual being, the creator of all things, omnipotent, omniscient, and eternal, infinite in wisdom, holiness, justice, goodness, truth, and mercy; unchangeable, and everywhere present by his representative, the Holy Spirit. Psalm 139:7. m.egwwritings.org/en/book/928.7#7.The problem is this when people want to defend their doctrine may pick scripture to do that especial on trinity.
