What happens to the stuff that you can access through Burke and Cassandra if you gave all the districts to Vito? Im currently playing it and im just Wiretapping Tickfaw currently. Would i loose the mobile gunrunner and vehicle delivery if i kept giving the districts to Vito?
@@ravenlinosoriano2867 burke starts a war with the cubans that levels most of the city and kills burke. Cassandra starts a war with everybody to the point the government declared martial law and turns it into a ghost town. Then the levies fail and floods the city and what's left is left to rot
Honestly this game has always had a pretty soild story and pretty awesome voice acting. I mean its not a perfect game by any standard but for its time its definitely a gem.
Nice catch. Never noticed that. I figured the still was an edited frame from Mafia II but never put it together that they just swapped out Vito’s clothes for police and added some crime scenes accoutrements. Pretty slick.
Basically if Lincoln leaves the city turns into: Burke: Pablo Escobar and Columbia but in the south Cassandra: Hurricane Katrina but it never got rebuilt Vito: the actual good ending
Even cooler, the guy who ran Hanger 13 during Mafia III’s development, Hayden Blackman, was the game director/writer of both Force Unleashed games. So I bet he called his old friend to come do a voice in Mafia III.
@@christhefiend I know man. I’m itching for it. Really curious to see where they set it and in what time period. I heard rumors of 1920’s Sicily but I feel like that’s limiting in turns of vehicles and weapons. A prologue chapter in 20’s Sicily would be cool but I don’t know how I feel about the whole game. I still think 1970’s Vegas has the most potential but I think they ditched that concept.

It’s one of the reasons I love the Mafia series. All those real archive photos and referencing real events like the Appalachian Meeting really adds to the immersion and world building.
It’s kind of dumb how Maggie thinks Lincoln is a monster when he lost everything and also how he just makes Lincoln’s actions looks so bad when the mafia have been doing the same forever plus maybe he was just being tacist since that’s how all federal police agencies are racist and not open to other ethnic backgrounds
He murdered an entire boat full of people to get to one guy. Safe to say Lincoln is a monster from an outside view. We only like him because we know him.
I mean, from an outside view he murdered countless innocent and guilty people in his crusade against the mob only to become one of them and possibly the most evil mob boss in history. (IE. the boat mission, not everyone on that boat was guilty but it didn’t matter to him.)
I love how if you choose " leave new bourdoux" the only capo to NOT destroy the city is Vito. AWESOME
Off course he wouldn't destroy the city,he's the only one who can run it he is a made man after all.

3:16 Vito’s segment gives me a ton of nostalgia
3:50 - I love how the developers edited the scene and made Vito's skin as a cop which is "investigating" Carlo's body. 😂
It is a cop
They’re recreated what they believed happened
That’s why there’s tape too
