How to Make Vegan Cheese Steak from Teen Titans Go! | Feast of Fiction | Food IRL In Real Life

- What's up Feasters. Today we've got a vegan treat from Teen Titans Go! The Vegan Cheese Steak!
Ingredients:
Impossible or Beyond Beef
1 Tbsp. Olive oil
½ onion, sliced
1 Bell pepper, sliced
1 jalapeño, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Buns
Vegan cheese:
1 cup cashews (soaked in water overnight)
2 small roasted red peppers
¼ tsp. Cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons coconut oil or vegan butter
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon sugar
Hard boiled egg and black olive slices for eyeballs
Instructions:
1. Soak the cashews in water overnight
2. Add cashews, roasted red peppers, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, vinegar, coconut oil, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper and sugar to a blender. Blend until smooth.
3. In a pan over medium heat, add the olive oil, onion, bell pepper, and jalapeño. Stir fry until nicely browned. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Cook the impossible or beyond beef according to instructions on the packaging
5. Assemble the sandwiches with vegan meat, vegan cheese, peppers and onions, and other desired sandwich toppings.

@@rscam0 It's kinda simple. Vegans don't eat nor use anything that comes from animals. No meat, no milk, no eggs, no leather.
Vegetarians just don't eat meat, but they can still eat cheese and eggs, etc
Also vegetarianism is mostly just a choice in what you prefer to eat, but most vegans have a believe that animals are equals and humans shouldn't kill them, that's why a lot of vegans are loud, and irritating, and try to force people to become vegan.

Vegemite can be used to bring a roasted beef flavor to most vegan recipes. Spread it thinly on the bread or add it to the meat substitute.
"Girls Last Tour" had a segment where the protagonists found a factory that made ration bars from potatoes, I think it was in ep 6. Sounded awful and haven't tried it myself but if you're game why not try something awful?
