Umphreys is one of the greatest bands of all time. This song has gotten me through addiction, breakups, deaths, college, every trial and tribulation I’ve faced #WEWANTTHEUMPH
Good. When people espouse the power of positivity, it's scientifically backed After all, we legitimately can only see what portion of the world we already exist within, since we filter everything within our reality through our subconscious bias as, believes, preconceived notions, filters, emotions camera and thoughts. The only thing we truly have control of in this life is where we place our attenti return to call and even that we only have control of as long as we are actively aware of it. I find that Carl Jung's Process of self actualization is a wonderfully package version about all of the best parts about Eastern and Western mysticism, as well as cutting through all of the necessity for belief in anything In order to benefit oneself, intellectually. Basically, the process involves self Inquiry, Especially when Unpleasant emotions arise, as intense emotions are the most effective venue for the ego To capture your attention. When you are not aware of What is going on with the internal world, it is fairly easy for you toget sucked within those intense emotions, and essentially get forced to act them out To whatever ends they are programmed to generate, that is, unless you are Aware enough of your own internal States to consciously choose whether or not you want to act out said intense emotion
very few bands in this day and age can pull off beach boy style harmonies, UM can, though this song really reminds me of Supertramp circa breakfast in america.
Who says that they did? maybe it's just not their cup of tea. There are several reasons why they didn't care for this song. I listen to all forms of music, including "death metal crap."
@@jordansalfityguitarist I've actually found that the chorus' of metal songs are some of the most beautiful I've ever heard, it's the screamo i struggle with to get to the chorus. i regret making this comment as I've always argued music as a taste. Figured I'd give a 6 year update. ❤
@@v2hector260 I feel you dude. Definitely an acquired taste. The harshness of some vocalists can be grating, especially when overdone. But sometimes it can be just what the doctor (or song) ordered. Appreciate the update!
@@jordansalfityguitarist i feel that 100% and honestly, looking back on my comment as a then 12+ year musician myself, i feel ashamed for even saying anything.

I listen to death metal and this. Just cause you like the heavy stuff doesn’t mean you don’t appreciate melody as well 👍
