Red Delicious were delicious! You just have to have lived in the same state they're grown in (for example, Washington). 🍎 They don't keep as well as the more modern varieties. I love apples.

I recommend a stool with a bowl when you chop the potatoes 🥔 in to fries 🍟. Food must be 6 inches off the ground. Food safe tip 👍

Haven't tried it myself, but the following video shows a lower-sodium recipe:
      *How to Make Kimchi "永久保存版"キムチの作り方*
Content Creator: "Generally, there's a step where you salt the napa cabbage and then rinse it with water, but using a lot of salt felt wasteful, so I've changed the method to sun-drying the cabbage instead.
This way, you only need to add as much salt as necessary."

    What does jackfruit taste like?

    • @WeCelebrateEatingPlants
      @WeCelebrateEatingPlants 6 месяцев назад

Depends how ripe it is and what is done to it. The early fruit before it's ripe is what they put in the cans which people use for barbecue sammiches, which is how I tried it. Tasted pretty neutral like any decent carrier of sauce, maybe a bit like a shredded zucchini but not so much zucchini flavor. The ripe fruit is supposed to be very sweet

Hi debby, my thoughts exactly on the cashews. Essy said no nuts or oil. The pitA has oil and sugar and some other strange ingredients. I don't like these guys

    So no:
    - Dairy
    - meat, including omega-3 rich fish
    - Eggs
    - Fried foods
    - Free oils, including extra virgin olive oil.(!!!!!!!!!!!)
    - Nuts(!!!!!!!!!!)
Wow, what a fun diet! So much fun! *And* you also have to exercise! Imagine how motivated you'll be doing that 15 mile run thinking about the delicious dish of boiled porridge with no oil that awaits you! Yum! Delicious! So basically, you spend your entire life eating food that tastes like paper and exercising.
Then, in exchange for all that sacrifice, you'll be alive at 90 like Dr.Esselstyn, looking like an old man anyway and facing death in a few years anyway. Endothelium FTW!!!!
Seriously, these delusional doctors just don't get it. This diet is not doable except for a tiny, tiny number of fanatics.
I agree with Warren Buffet(age 92) when he said that, if he had to live on salads and steamed brown rice, he would be dead by suicide a long time ago.Being happy definitely prolongs life, because nothing shortens like more than stress, and this diet is very stressful. The guy eats burgers and ice cream almost every day, and enjoys life at 92.
Even if eating dairy, animals foods and oils will shorten my and make me die at 60, I would still rather die at 60 after enjoying life, then living to 90 eating paper and completely joyless, all to age and die anyway.
This horrible diet seems to me a classic case of what philosophers call "blaming the victim". Just blame the patient and his life choices, instead of blaming your ineffective medicine. What we need is better medicine, and better genetics. Greenland sharks, for instance, are carnivorous and eat tons of saturated fat, and yet live 400 years or more.
