Hi, I have a brand new piscifun reel, and the drag isn't smooth, the issue is it either pulls out TOO EASILY, OR it pulls out TOO hard, when pulling out too hard, it won't smoothly come out, you have to pull hard again for the line to put out, like there is constant resistance rather than when you pull the drag eases and slowly pulls out, there's no in-between, what could be the issue?
Daiwa came out with a drag system a couple of years ago called quick drag that took the drag from nothing to near locked up within a couple of clicks. It was not very popular. It sounds like Piscifun has done something similar. Im not sure why it isn't smooth, you might have to change the drag washer and see how that goes. I hope it all works out for you.
$26 per sheet, I use a inside caliper/spring divider to cut them out (sharpen one side) can get up to 8 reels per sheet.
Thanks for letting us know the price and which tools to use to cut out Carbontex washers.
