Detractors in the comment sections in these types of videos, reek of jealousy and bitterness. This guy is living the life he wants, and doing what he loves. He has a fantastic and practical set up for the type of work he does, and is clearly having fun. Maybe some of you should focus on building the life you want, instead of whining about what he's doing.

Sure but there is nothing wrong with pointing out the extreme privilege this guy has to live this life. He is a recent college grad that apparently has a ton of cash. 99% of the people in the world don't have the opportunity to attend a world class university no matter how smart they are. This guy did it and came out with a ton of cash.
It is a fantasy to state that everyone should quit whining and just become him. Having said that...good for him for doing well with what he was given.

    • @mikeanderson8939

Hell yeah... and do it while you're young and able. I'm envious for sure. I'm seeing more young people getting college out of the the way and then "backpacking" as opposed to taking a year or two off first. That's not the "have it now" generation... that's the "I earned my time to explore"

    In 1990 , 30 years ago, I had 1986 Toyota land cruiser fj60.
And I turned it in to full time living house/ camper.
I didn't do it because I needed place to live. I did it to se if it can be done !!!
And than I was so impressed with result, so I decide to hit the road and see some places. I was living out if my car for 7 years !!! Constantly changing and chiseling my modifications to perfection !! I did travel all over north, central and south America, all over Europe, Asia, all over Russia and some Africa !!!
My land cruiser is hold up perfectly !!! Well.. I didn't abuse it very much , and was trying not to push it to its limit !!! My goal was never rent a room , never buy a hot shower,, and in 7 years of my adventure I never did !!! Alway spend a night in my car and take at list one a day shower with shower I built my self !!!
I have to say I'm in my early 50s , and I'm thinking to hit the road again with my wife !!! Fridom of open road, that adventure is the best of what life can bring to you , I won't to my wife experience that to !!!

Your setup is great! I love everything you've done. So cool to see you do this in a Jeep Wrangler. I had a Commander, which I miss so much, and would like to get another one and do the same type of setup. Well done! Thanks for sharing!

Your the second person I’ve seen retro-fit their Jeep as a year round Mobil home. Out of all the vehicles to choose from as far as turning into a Mobil home, the Jeep is probably the most difficult but also one of the best in my opinion. You really can’t beat the compact size and the off-road capabilities of a good Jeep. Your set up is very similar to the other person I was talking about except he doesn’t have a bed or any sleeping quarters inside the Jeep itself. He solely uses a roof tent. I think when it comes to living out of a Jeep you absolutely must have a roof tent. I just don’t seen any other way around it especially when it comes to comfort. It’s pretty amazing that you were able to squeeze a bed inside the cabin of your vehicle considering how tall you are. Overall I’m extremely impressed with your build and you definitely have everything you need. Great video and I look forward to seeing the next one! Cheers!
