- The last video we had our first snowfall, this one we have our first winter storm. Winter storm preparation. Putting a plow on the 4wheeler. Getting the duck hunting stuff put away so Melissa can park in the garage. The new yard light arrives.
I commend you Joe. I am fully retired. But I remember those 3 decades of leaving home for work with moon shinning ever so bright n not getting back home till quarter of 7 that night. 6 days a week. Going on 60 now. The youngins cab enjoy that time. I put in my quota for a long time. Now its farming, fishing and fun loving with my better half and the family. Got a light just like that in my backyard as well. Lights up the entire half acre behind the house. Knees killing so I was smart. Just paid the power company that little fee and they put in another one for me. That light lasted 23 years. Based on that. Next time it needs changing I will be going on 80. Enjoy watching you and your family. God Bless. Keep warm!!!!
Thank you Chauncey.
Its good to see your equipment in under a roof protected from the weather
Hi Joe. I found your channel about three week's ago. We are hooked!. My wife and I have binge watched every episode. You guys are truly amazing. As far as I can make out you and your lovely family have a wonderful life, busy but wonderful. I love that you have been hunting and fishing for generations now. That is so special. You are truly inspiring. I wish I had your energy. I have also noticed, the only time you actually sit down for any length of time is when you're driving. I wish you and your lovely family all the happiness in the world. You have an amazing family. You are all truly blessed. Thank you all so very much.
I would love to see Joe release a 45 minute video of him sitting in a recliner!
It's always work work work work work work work work work work. I thought people worked for the goal of unwinding and enjoying life. I don't actually see much enjoying life. Or at least my perception of enjoying.
Lol Tom
That would take several weeks to record, lol
I believe Joe is totally enjoying life ! Just like those lights that is how and Dad are wired 😂🤣. Great for us that enjoy following him and Melissa.👍❤️
I reckon he’d take a year to collect that much footage.😂
So lovely the fresh snow, love white winter. So cozy.
Very cool weather-no pun intended. ❤️🙏🏻💯👏👏👏👏👏
Reminder for what you need for hunting camp. Light bulbs, bottled water, paper plates, journals, and Gunsmoke videos.
Lighter Fluid and Glass Cleaner!!
windex, paper towel
Stay safe and stay healthy Joe and Melissa.....and hope you get a big dear Joe...happy hunting
Totally enjoy watching. Your work ethics and morals are UNMATCHED. I was never blessed or lucky enough to have someone like you. they were all duds. lol. Now, I've gotten too old to care. lol
I have an older version of Joe! He's like the Eveready bunny and always makes me feel like a slug.
Gotta love significant MN snow falls in October.
Welcome to winter driving! Farm and pups look fantastic. 👍😉🌲👌🇨🇦
Good information about the water coming off of the tires. Thank you.
Hey Joe...on that yard light setup...Odds are all you needed to fix that light was a new photo eye. Cheap fix. Maybe you can use it someplace else.
Another great video, Joe! I never get enough. I don’t know the last time I went to sleep without watching at least an hour’s worth first. Very relaxing... Thanks, Joe!
I love watching dogs in fresh snow! For some reason, every dog loves running in it! Except some of the wee ones!
Wow, a NEW parking spot for the off-season duck float. New chapters open in subtle ways, but usually take on interesting twists as time develops! But, there's an empty, and lonely, spot further south in the state. Here's hoping for an even brighter future, my friend!!
looking forward to that first big storm vid. Great time of the year.
I love how you tell the story of the overly aggressive driver rolling - and then you laugh. LOL! You crack me up, Joe!
Stupid laughing at someone else's accident...
All being stored away for winter better leaving outside soon deteriorates out in the winter weather you all stay safe thanks for video
👍👍. God bless y’all ✌️
Great prep work! Yall stay safe and warm! My family loves your videos and we have similarities in our everyday lives. Love Melissa's cooking channel too❤
Thank you Lori.
Nice lighting improvement over the garage...
Hope the doggies are staying warm inside.
Honestly, Congrats to Joe! You can just tell he has worked for everything he has! He is the type of person that works hard at life to do what he loves. He has worked for all he has and that seems to be going away more and more.
I have said all my life, if you have time to actually spend money..... You are not working enough.... Lol.
Man, think of all the pork steaks and porkchops that will go with all those potatoes. Yum!
Great stuff as always. Thanks for sharing and stay safe! - “Outdoors and Country Living”
Great Job! Always enjoy watching!! Hope you never stop posting!! Thanks so much!! 👍👍
Agree!!!!
Hello from Kansas. Thanks for sharing. Love the videos.
Thanks, joe. I broke my hip and wrist, laid up in rehab loving the snow.
Get better soon, Grace!
Thank you Grace. i hope you feel better soon. I will keep posting videos.
Hard to believe I was just at a gathering where there was plenty of food, drinks, laughter, fellowship and people diving into the pool.
Joe, I have to comment on the elephant in the room - your commute somethings gotta give. Having done long frustrating commutes then switching to a 9 mile commute - I’ve learned life’s so much better when works reasonably close.
For the past 6.5 years, my commute has been from the bedroom, to the kitchen for coffee, to the home office. My first meeting of the day is at 10:00am, so I'm out of bed at 9:54am sharp. I'm pretty sure Joe could only tolerate my lifestyle for 1-2 days, and that's about how long I could live his lifestyle before collapsing. :D
Cannot wait to see winter videos, also ur videos with ur daughter and son in hunting season.
I really dont understand how this channel is below 500k subbs
You seem to really enjoy all your stuff: 4 wheelers, tractor, trailers, mowers, tools, hunting/fishing/gardening gear, etc. ... which is then associated with all your work and recreational activities. You're my favorite vlogger as you are down-to-earth, straight forward and genuine. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into creating your videos. Oh ... and I'm so glad you now have a good weed eater. 😃
Good morning Joe, thank you for letting me know what you guys have we will look for it. What you seem to have seems to look like what we would like to have as well. Hope you guys are having a great weekend. Talk to you soon LOL.
Great job Joe
I need to move to Minnesota!
Love your videos. Just started watching them and I am loving them
Thank you Sandra.
I appreciate your hard work and attention to detail. To have nice things and be able to keep them means putting them away when you're done and seeing that things don't just get left to the waste side. Good job. God bless you all.
That Honda atv is by far one of the best ever made... use to have one exactly like it... yours is in really great shape!
Very nice video
Being from the south the expectation of snow is an event to be celebrated. I have moved so far south there is no longer any chance of snow at my house. So now I get excited when you get snow, even a little.
I miss the nightly visit to the girls and egg collection 🐥🐣🐤
"Hey girls... how's it going?"
Joe, you and Melissa are such a blessing to me. Whenever I get homesick for the US, I just binge watch a bunch of NS or J&ZS or ATRC and Im cured! I live in Chile and cant leave now cuz of the pandemic but you and yours keep me fed!! Thank you sooo much!
I would LOVE to hear your stories Carla. what a culture change. So interesting.
@@NorthernSeclusion are you on Instagram. Im gonna check and if you are Ill regale you with all my boring stories. Lol
So many are affected by the pandemic in so many ways .
You just reminded me. I need to put the hose away before it freezes. Thanks! Happy Winter!
Funny thing you just reminded me it’s supposed to snow tonight in Olathe Kansas
Man, your work commutes are insane!
I bet you are loving the new roof over the back entrance since it started snowing!
I think you missed one potato! Thanks for sharing
Good job!😃
Blessings to you and Melissa,
Washington State USA🙏🇺🇸..🎺
Joe, I've watched your channel for years now and am still astonished with your organization skills and attention to detail.........you would have made a great chopper pilot!.........love your show!
Waiting for the duck hunting vid... patiently..
Duck hunting video has been posted for almost a month on the Joe and Zach Survival channel.
Hey Joe you’re still making a lot happen in so little time, awesome God bless you! 👏👍👍👍💯💯💯
Thank you Mary.
Amazing all the things you tackle in "1" video! Good mess of potatoes! Hope they get you through Winter with some volunteers left over to plant next year. Perfect! I'm glad the light's fixed. Hated you had to fix it in the cold. Summer came & went to fast. Good, 2 heads of cabbage, & some tomatoes. Well, you & your Father have a nice safe trip to the tent/Folks Cabin. I enjoyed your video. Chunk seems okay with the snow. He fits right in. Take care Joe.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, joe you could be a millionaire just by teaching time management classes. I’m exhausted just watching, haaaa. Thanks for sharing, cheers! Oh and by the way I would love to have half the storage buildings that you have!
So that’s what winter looks like? 🤗 Haven’t seen much winter since we moved to Deep East Texas. Miss the beauty of winter but not the driving in it. Thanks for sharing with us Joe. 👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Beautiful winter has arrived. Its going to be a long one.
That's a good man right there. Keep that beautiful Chevy in the garage and the Ford outside. Lol
"Preparing for winter" is so foreign to us FL. folks. But I love watching it:)
You may want to try out a blower for your atv. I have a Honda 22hp motor on a kimpex blower. Never used my plow since.
The snow is beautiful but i know is hard to get around in, Cant wait to see your next one that light looks good
I always wonder if Joe says "Hey, Melissa, its 4:30 AM, time to get up....." I am sure he values his life...probably not.
Not unless he wants to be spending the winter in the workshop. XD
WAKEY WAKEY EGGS AND BACEY!!!!!! Every day...365
Hi Joe, that is always the case winter creeps up on you and the outside utensils that show deterioration go out and need to be fixed. That is what comes of owning a property - maintenance.
You need a bigger TOY SHOP 😂👍🏻 Have a safe winter .
nice video
especially this part = 23:28
that looks awesome
Yes that clipper of Melissa’s that came from LA is gonna be handy on the back trails you’re making. I forget do you have a wood/chip shredder to put mulch out on the trails if you decide too? Well glad that you got the table and chairs and the potatoes got put away! TC Vicki from Iowa. 🦋🍁
True, I will also love to see that😊
We in colorado are suposed to get snow tomorrow and tonight. I think winter is fast on its way for sure.
Thanks, for the update, but it’s too early for winter. I don’t have to tell you to drive safe and take care of everyone.
joe, i am glad you get rest when you do ... if you lived in Alaska, you would never get any sleep with midnight sun. lol
You are awesome!
Melissa, what did you make for dinner? Looks like potatoes, broccoli and some kind of meat. That pan looked great. I have to start cooking for my husbands parents, they're both 87. Cooking is becoming dangerous for them. I made your smothered pork chops for the 3rd time. Everyone loves that. Looking for easy things to make. Going to try Joe's Instant Pot Pot Roast this week.
Looking like u have a long winter ahead of you, our leaves still have not all fallen yet.
We have leaves falling on the snow. Thank you Bailey.
Nice video as always Joe just reminds me what is on the way even here in Vermont
Thanks For The Video = Joe > Russ Robinson Ann Arbor , Michigan GO BLUE UM
It's a good thing you have most of what you need I mean just to pull out a box full of light switches is great. Thanks for sharing.
Another awesome video as usual great to see the snow where I am In the uk were lucky if it snows once every few years and then it’s hardly anything
I hope you have better luck with that snow plow on the 4wheeler than I did. It was "ok" for a couple inches but I'll bet you get the Farmell out for anything else.
Joe , you should build you a carport on the side of the building where are you used to park the tractor , that way you can keep your pick up out of the snow and ice so you don’t have to spend a lot time cleaning snow & ice off before going to work
I'll trade you my rain and thunderstorms in North Carolina for your snow storm, I love snow! Stay safe!
1st comment! Joe, great videos...I wish I had 1/10th of your energy
Nice work Joe. Have you thought about making the plow setup for tractor? I saw a big yellow plow sitting where you park the tractor. Thanks for the video.
That yellow plow goes on the Yamaha Grizzly. I will put it on once I bring it back after deer hunting. Thanks G-Man.
@@NorthernSeclusion Good plan Joe. Can’t wait to get back to the tent..Tell your dad G-Man said hello.
HAHA such a fitting video, its 85 degrees right now in El Paso, yet Mon & Tue we are being told to expect a possible 4-6 inches of snow. I would laugh at it but our temperatures are about to go into the 30's like they saw a state trooper. Thanks for posting a video and making my Sunday evening Joe
Hi Joe amd Melissa nice video
6 hour's of driving a day on snow covered roads...Joe your insane...Geez😌😌😌
Hey Joe, we had a storm this past Sunday and Monday in Colorado. Single digits and in Denver about 5-8 inches
How wonderful you already have snow.
All the lights look Great
I'm glad it's you and not us. It has gotten substantially cooler here though. I dont know how Melissa does it. I'm a southern girl living in the "North", but not like Melissa. She's a keeper Joe!
Believe it Joe....9 inches so far in the Twin Cities.
Good job on the lights looks great joe
I live in the Adirondacks so far so good. Last 5 days low to mid 70's today sunny but only 50. M-Th. rain and 50's I'm so not looking forward to winter. Be blessed.
Ya, you often see the speeders plow themselves into the ditch or snowbank. Thats a lot of drivijg Joe. Im glad you are cautious.
Hey joe love your channel would love to see that argo being put to use bring it to the tent for deer hunting anyway take care god bless
Can’t wait for the next show, Joe. LOL!!
Super jealous of your snowfall. I live in central Scotland and all we've had is rain so far. I know the very top north of Scotland has had some snow but not my area.
Joe GooD LucK WhiteTail Hunting This Year ! Russ
Wow! That new light really IS brighter...that's great. Sooo, what was that delish-looking pan of food?? Inquiring "As The Rooster Crows" fans need to know these things!! Stay safe pit there now that the snow's flying.
Thank you Mary. I did not do a cooking video on that meal. I put a chuck roast in the roasting pan in the center and then 6 or 7 country style pork ribs around it. I added a head of broccoli, and a half head of cauliflower. I added a cut up onion and 6 potatoes cut up. I added a can of beef stock and spices (johnny's hunters blend, creole seasoning and onion and garlic powder. I covered it and cooked it at 350 for 2 hours and then uncovered it, turned the oven up to 410 degrees and cooked it 20 minutes more. It was really good. I almost forgot, I drizzled the bottom of the roasting pan with olive oil prior to adding the meat.
@@NorthernSeclusion YUM! Thanks so much!
Great video as always but I do NOT envy y’all and the snow, but greetings from Alabama
The light looks fantastic
Enjoyed. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing.....be safe
