- The yard and the fields needed mowing badly. In this video everything gets mowed and is looking nice again. I get everything cleaned out behind the workshop barn so we can access the new double doors and this winter I will be able to push snow in that area.
I’m always amazed how much work you get done in a day. I don’t think people appreciate the time it takes to set up all the camera angles and constantly moving the camera around. Thanks for the unseen work that makes your videos entertaining.
Joe I swear every time you mow the yard seems to get bigger each time and more beautiful.
I always hate the end of the videos... I enjoy the mowers, tractor, the projects, gardens, yours and Melissas cooking....

I can't tell ya, how iconic it is becoming, of the view ofJoe rolling the can to the end of the road. It is THE only indication, that the weekend is over, another job well done.
Why not ride one of the 4 wheelers while you drag the garbage can to the end of the drive?
You can not get any exercise doing it that way. Also, by the time you get the wheeler out and hook up the garbage can and then drive it down there and then put the 4wheeler away, I could have walked it down and been halfway done with a beer. Lol.

Hi Joe and Melissa. Man if they ever need to have someone test power equipment, Joe you are the man for the job. LOL. You sure put your equipment through their paces. I have to laugh when I see you riding the mower through 5’ High weeds. This is one of the reasons I love your channel. You really have the farm looking great considering what you guys started with. @@chris3m98 Nah that's just Joe getting every single ounce of value out of his equipment. Those riding mowers he buys they cost a lot of money. He gets every dime back and some change. He no doubts takes his hat off and shoots them when needed saying a few choice words and having a beer he then goes buys a new one and starts all over again.

Am really surprised you have not obtained free standing/ overhead fuel tank/ 12' hose & nozzle for your gasoline engines. It save so much time, safer than cans & funnel. No sight obstruction during fueling. You would use enough fuel in a year to avoid a minimum usage penalty from supplier. Really enjoy your vids, content, explnations, voice clarity & diction.,

Joe, I'll say it again, you are fortunate to have overgrowth like that where you are in Minnesota without having to worry about venomous snakes hiding in the tall grass on your property. In Alabama we can't afford for grass and overgrowth to get that tall. We would have copperheads, rattlesnakes, and water moccasins on property.
Mostly copperheads here in southern Indiana with the odd rattlesnake thrown in for a little variety here and there.
I’m in southeast TN and that is definitely a snake pit around here.... and a insect or spider bite .... and let’s not forget tics!

That trail around yor property is an awesome walking and/or running trail.
Work never ceases does it? That's okay for us we prefer living out in the country so the trade off is a lot of mowing in the summer and moving snow in winter. When we first purchased our property it was non stop clear junk and weeds and dead trees and a lot of trim work. We had so much trash all over from previous tenants. Finally we have a nice property which still needs tending but we got rid of all the junk including an old car which was partially buried in dirt. Your place is really awsome and you keep making it so much nicer. I enjoy your videos so much.
You need to set up a Par 3 in that field....Tee box, bunkers, sloping green, the whole smash.

Svengoolie was good. Love it when they show those type old sci fi flicks. It was better than last night's werewolf in London! Ha! I bet Melissa's jumbo was amazing. you truly are a joy to watch while you work and enjoy your chores! - you so remind hub and myself of our younger selves -can't imagine how proud of you your parents must be!!! so nice to have such a supportive wife, not to mention that other girl who justs adores her daddy, little Miss Joni, no doubt about who her main-man-is! she is so precious! believe it or not, hub and i have a cat, Prince-Simon who is just like a dog, he jumps in the wheel-barrow and rides with, if the saw-horses are out, he's laying up there, even when hub turns on one of the tools - also, he has walked our whole nature trail, once he did it twice=such joy and laughter in the little, precious things...hugs to ya'll...

It would be cool if you built some sort of breeze way between your two garages. If it was big enough for both pickups, you tractor, all the four wheelers. it would be so good for all weather.

Joe...You can build almost anything...do a canopy for the tractor...you got some metal and wood...just thinking outside of the box...would give shade and some
protection if you are mowing when it starts to rain or snow later in winter...went fishing today on Kennebunk river. Used a 3" white swim mullet and had a lot of hits,
but 1st time I have ever caught an 18" Salty Ocean Brown Trout...Cheers from Maine.
Your going to have to build a lean to or something for all the new toys ! Winters just around the corner !

Hey Joe a friend of mine has a tractor like yours and he rigged a patio umbrella up to the back seat of tractor so the sun was off of him when mowing...Maybe a idea for you to try so your not baking in the sun....lol

Those raspberries...so many options. Riding the property looks like fun.
Remember metal can be recycled and while it doesn’t bring much every little bit helps.

You should have mowed the area where you were going to push that junk into instead of pushing it into the high grass. I think you should rent a dumpster to put all your junk in and have them carry it away. The place looks great.

I'm surprised you don't weedwack around the buildings and trees to clean it up a bit more. I keep hoping to see around the trees trimmed and then mulch or flowers around it or something lol

I have always wanted a large piece of land where I could just keep thinning the trees and let the big ones get huge. I love the smell of fresh sawed boards and they seem to give me satisfaction of the harvest/salvage
Joe, I work for a fuel jobber, looks like you go through enough fuel in the summer especially you should contact your local jobber there and get them to set you up small above ground tank, sure would make it easier on you, just a thought!!!!
Joe, you could always post on marketplace free scrap , that way they do all the work lol and it's our of your way.

My family spent quite a few years fishing on Birch lake at a resort outside of Hackensack. Great memories of my Dad catching a lot of Walleyes getting his picture in local paper. My best time besides fishing was hanging around with the resort owner.

Dig a three ft hole pug the jack in it and get a burn permit in the best season to burn then fill the hole up but discard the rubbish first or make the hole a composting hole you have all those trees you cut out front

Have you considered installing a better watering system for your chickens? The bucket you currently use gets very dirty and the chickens would have trouble reaching the water when the level gets low. There are so many better options to choose from that will keep the water clean and at a level easier for the chickens to drink. Also the ducks should have access to water they can swim in. A child's paddle pool is ideal. Ducks need water to splash about in for their quality of life.

ES why hasn’t a trimmer/ weed wacker that attaches to the side of the mower been invented yet? It seems like it wouldn’t be that hard 🧐
