It was vendor days at the range and I test shot this Stoeger STR-9 and I was crazy accurate. I’m a Glock guy and was saving for a G19 gen5 MOS but when I was test shooting the G19 I was horrible. I sent the target maximum distance and said if I hit the center circle area (not exactly bullseye) 🎯 I would buy it. I am super accurate imo 🤣 but the muzzle has more flip than a Glock.

Congrats on the purchase....Ive been wanting to check out 1 of those Stoeger STR9's .
Ive owned & carried Glocks for over 25 years /since the late 90s but when I picked up/got to shoot my buddies SIG XMacro for the 1st time i was INSTANTLY sold .
I went out an bought 1 the next day an now Ive been CCing the XMacro for almost 2 years an I love it !
Its SOOO much more comfortable to CC than my G19 and for me the way it fits my hand is incredible/ ergos are AMAZING !
That translated into me being able to shoot faster & more accurately than i ever did with my G19 and/or G26 !
Im around 3000 rounds into the Xmacro now...Ive added a Holoson 507K optic ,replaced the stock trigger with an adjustable trigger by MCarbo , extended controls by Armory Craft [extended takedown lever , slide lock an ambi safety] an few other mods as well !
@@cottonmouth71 I like your style as always! Yeah it was vendor day and I couldn’t believe how accurate I was with the STR-9 so I bought it!! Took forever to get to me but I was super accurate with it but I’m having issues getting dead center. Grouping is working 2-4 inches but always a tad to the left? Maybe still flinching idk but the muzzle flip is higher than desired especially when firing consecutively but practice should fix some of it

What’s your take on flash lights or weapon mounted lasers (WMLs)?
Since you been here from the beginning I am working a on slogan. How is, “Stay safe stay free 2A” too much? Stay safe stay free is that enough? Lmk thx 🫡
How much did you pay for the optics ready one, I just got one for 240$ that’s not cut
@@PatriotArms90 I think it was $350-75 but then you get hit with background check other fees but I got a $50 rebate so it made it manageable!

also do you know how much it costs to get a gun “milled” for optics? Is it worth it? Or just buy another gun? 🤷🏻♂️

@@YeehawTac I’m not sure I’m thinking about a 100$ depending on where you’re at, you might be able to get a slight that’s cut but I haven’t had a chance to look into it yet
