Hey guys and Welcome to Military Mondays!! This is a new series on my channel where I answer all of your questions and post videos on things you should know before joining!!
I know your out now but I was hoping you’d mention something about drug tests. When I was stationed in Japan, I don’t think I was ever drug tested but when was stationed at San Diego, CA, the drug tests were a monthly thing. Sometimes 3 time a month. It was ridiculous. And they were big on Keeping track of Marines who had alcohol issues.
I was supposed to ship on Oct 5, but now I ship on Nov 9, my shipdate got delayed because of Corona 🤦🏻♀️, been passing all the IST for every month, now I just wanna leave 😶
What was your weight when you left to boot camp then and now ?...I just want to see like the difference because I’m struggling with my weight and it’s holding me back from going to boot camp and all💔any tips ?
As long as your under your max when you’re in bootcamp you will lose weight and won’t have to deal with that. The only hard part is when you graduate and trying to maintain it. But don’t let your weight now stop you!! You can always get with a recruiter to help you lose weight if that’s something that’s hard for you. That’s what I did.
And by under your max I mean you can literally be 1/2 pounds under the max weight and you’ll be good. That’s how it was for me and I lost 20lbs while in bootcamp.
Yarieliz Cortez thank you💯it’s really nice to watch your videos cuz I’m actually training for the marines and all I need is for my weight to get to that standard max🤞I will keep pushing as always✨keep posting☺️
No they don’t teach you how to swim. However they may let you go to the pool the week prior to practice. If you don’t pass swim qual you will get dropped from training
You should do a video on preparing for boot camp! Like talk about hair, periods, what you pft, how in shape you were before leaving!
Will be the Military Monday topic for next week! ♥️
You are charming

sissy san nicolas girl what’s your insta because same 😂
for the PFT pull-ups do they have that stretchy band that you can step in for the women??
You cant use the band while you're doing the PFT but you can buy one to use to help you improve on your pull ups. Hope that helps!!!
If you’re not able to do pull ups youd just do push ups instead.
Do they teach us to swim? And if not what happens if we don't know how to swim?
