It’s beautiful ! Really like the colors of the floors and cabinets and even the little panels. It’s blue like the sky, like the ocean. I’m really happy you found such a cosy place. Wish you the best 🤍 cannot wait to see what you do with it ! 🥰
If you're into lights, I would have white Christmas lights or fairy lights with behind the curtains for that kitchen divider - I've done it with my basement bedroom window and love the soft glow it gives in the evening! You could get real crazy and add strings of small shells as well to add to the beach vibe if that's something you like.
For sure set up your bed at an angle where you wake up and the first thing you see is the ocean, I can’t even imagine how amazing that would feel to open your eyes and just see ocean
omg I was in vacation in Busan last week and I was staying on the same beach strip (won't mention the name for obvious privacy reasons but) thats so cool, i loved the view from the airbnb I stayed at, super excited for you to wake up to that every morning!
Lovely apartment and nice location but what is this privacy hype? I've been in Busan once and the scenery is quite obvious. Be careful. It works in opposite way like this. I considered it as a challenge and it took me 20 minutes to locate your window on google maps in precision of ±2 floors and ±1 window horizontally based on what was shown on the video. If you want privacy, you should keep well recognised landmarks and signs of neighbouring businesses out of the frame. Just as a kind reminder. About me you don't need to worry about. I have no initiative to use this information any further.
@@aaaatu LOL. It is pretty obvious the general area for those who've been to Busan before. I figured it out just at first glance when she did a partial out the window view. And definitely can see some "markers" to figure out the general area of the building. I have a BA in Geography and Maps is my life...I kind of took it as a challenge also to figure it out. And same no use for the info just needed to satisfy my curiosity. And, I would love to go back to Busan.

My dream is to move to Busan, South Korea one day. Right now I’m learning how to speak Korean and reading it is getting better but I’m not that confident in speaking it with anyone because I’m not that good at it yet. What would be a good way to help me improve on my Korean?
This is exactly what I would look for in a home in Busan 💝 it’s a little smaller but all the charm it has works. It’s open, light, beach, and airy. Love it!
I’m so happy for you!! I know how much you’ve talked about the beach and how much you’ve missed/been missing it and you finally found a place that shows you it every day! 💓
Small table and living room furniture closest to kitchen partition. Bedroom setup closest to the window so you wake up to that beautiful beach view and sunlight!!!! So happy that your happy!! Super cute apt.
What I have learned is home is were your heart is, big or small if it gives you Peace of mind and your spirit feels right, that’s all that matters, you will always adjust to any size of space.. so enjoy be happy! So happy for you and Cleo... much love ❤️
Stumbled upon your vlogs a couple weeks ago and been watching them non stop, maybe it's your soothing voice that automatically puts me on relax mode. Great apartment!
Holy crap that view is INCREDIBLE! No wonder you wanted to live there! I hope being back by the water improves your mental health. Wishing you the best and I can’t wait to watch videos of you decorating your new place💜
I love watching these kind of videos, its like im preparing myself to cry in the future because I would never have this ps. we never know, maybe I will keep dreaming, shoo the negativity away
Working on moving to a smaller space myself currently in Chicago, but I might suggest the tv stand against the partition with couch facing, and bed behind next to the window (for that gorgeous view from bed!) . That will create a small living space and a separate bedroom space. Then you could put a small table against the wall where your suitcase is resting and have an eating/work space there, so you get all three spaces! :)
I'd do bed by the windows so that when ppl are over they don't need to walk through the "bedroom" and you're not sleeping near the kitchen, plus you can wake up with the view :) Then couch against the wall by the partition, TV across on the other wall maybe--or swap! Then I'm sure there's wall space for a table or desk either by the kitchen/fridge or by the bed somewhere! Actually a really good sized studio! LOVE THE VIEW!!!!
You're right. You don't need a big space with a view like that and so many things to do outside your door. So happy for you. I would put the bed on the other side of the kitchen partition and not sure how it would work, but I would definitely want my couch facing that view.
hey adrienne, i recently learned out about the concept of "co-regulation" and it reminds me of what you said about feeling at home/at peace being near the ocean (i also feel the same way)! apparently it's a real thing-when we sit in front of the ocean, its rhythmic waves and whispered hushes causes our bodies to mirror it in co-regulation, and as a result we feel restored & at peace. the ocean has a heartbeat which our hearts yearn to sync 💖
GIRL that view!!! I am obsessed if I were you I'd put a little breakfast nook/two seater table by the window so you can watch the waves each day and night! I'd put my bed directly on the other side of the kitchen wall thing and maybe a mirror leaning on the side with the headboard of your bed (I think the lighting would be best coming from the ocean side but not sure)! I also think a little fireplace/TV stand moment on the other side would complete the vibes😍 Sending love from FL! -A
I would put the bed right by the window to save space and also so you can sit/lie and see the view. Desk near that for working. Also next to window if it fits. I’d put a dining table on the other side of the partition up against it. And a couch/sofa in between on the left wall OR facing outwards to divide the room even more.
Great find Adrienne! One of the things I admire about Korea is how fast things get done, even though I am an old fart. Good point about the vibes reducing space requirement.
If I lived there, I would cover the partition panels with contact paper (so you can change it up any time). Then I'd make my eating area a long table with barstools up against the partition that separates the kitchen and living room. So kitchen island, partition, then bar table. Putting a table there would mirror the island inside the kitchen to bring symmetry to the space, and it would also cut down on wasted space in the main room. I would also use tall corner lamps to avoid taking up too much room
What a beautiful place! Wow, great job Adrienne! I would do the same for the partition. Put an island with storage below or an island that also acts as a bar counter and then tuck stools in underneath. Then to spice up the partition on the kitchen side I would get those adhesive wall hooks and hang up décor. Yes on the curtain! I would get a curtain that's more opaque and possibly with a pattern, in a soft color and white, to bring the eyes up. Then I would probably get a couch w/ a hideaway bed, or a twin/full bed or daybed and play it up as a couch in the day time. Cushioned bench or accent chair by the window with a side table at the left corner. I would also put an aesthetic bookcase/bookshelves or entertainment center unit where your luggage is (or maybe centered on that wall with Cleo's toy basket in the far corner) and then put a mid-height or tall plant in that wall right-angle corner thing adjacent to the air unit door. And then other stuff too but I'm gonna stop here, lol.
Regarding decorating here are some questions I would consider: What will be the biggest pieces of furniture? What size bed? If you’re comfortable with a twin bed then maybe a day bed could work unless you don’t want to sit on your bed. Maybe a bed with a canopy or mosquito net. Do you want your bed next to the window where the natural light comes in or farther away? Where do you want people’s attention to go when they walk into the room? What will you want to do in your space and have room for: a table or a desk, seating for guests, space to exercise, etc? Have additional ambient lighting and plants either real or fake but preferably real.
Others have said it before, but get some kind of bookshelves or something to partition out the space!! I’d also arrange everything so my bed would face that view, with the headboard functioning as a divider as well 😍
honestly i really love your new space!it is smaller but also i feel like you will be able to make it really cosy and really “YOU” and with that view the ✨aesthetic✨ would be immaculate.i cant way for all the moving/decorating vlogs 😊😊😊🥰
right off the bat, you look so much happier and that makes me happy for you ❤️ i love that you followed your heart to move back to where you feel most at home!
if i were there i would put the tv and stand on the wall where your suitcase is laying against and put the bed opposite of that, i'd put probably a small round dining table at the corner of the thing that divides the kitchen and living area, i don't think i'd add a couch since it will probably make the place look smaller but instead i'd go for a really comfy couch chair of some sort and of course decorate with cute rug(s) and pillows and add picture frames/art to fill up empty spaces if needed :) i hope this sort of helped haha
I wouldn't use anything vertical to divide the space since it would just make the place feel smaller and cut things off from the beautiful view. I would instead use rugs and the placement of the furniture to define the different zones. I think I would have a small table in the window area since the view would make you want to sit there. The indent and air-conditioning access on that wall makes it difficult to put much up against it, however, you could either put the TV unit in that section between the indent and the airconditioner access, or you could put you couch and then a small table/bookcase behind it in the indented section behind the couch. I would most probably place the bed in that indent but further back from the window, in the hope that you could look at the view from bed. The bed would be visible when you enter in that position, but I personally don't mind this since I love my bedding and I spend a lot of time on my bed and would appreciate seeing the view from there. When I lived in a very small studio, I found it really helpful to draw a to-scale floorplan of the room and then draw and cutout pieces to represent the space my furniture would take up, that way I could move them around the floorplan and see what worked best. Whatever you decide upon, best of luck, I hope it becomes a lovely cozy little home!
It's a really nice studio! I would put the bed next to the window (but I would get something to cover them so when no one can see you sleep if they are creepy), a small table next to the divider, the couch next to the table, and a tv on the wall facing the couch and table
I like it a lot! It's tiny but there's enough espace for one person and the view it's amazing! I wold put the tv station against the right wall if you face the window and the couch besides the kitchen wall so you leave a corridor to walk around and the dinning table behind the couch. The bed beside the window. However it's very difficult to say if it's a comfortable set up only by seen the space in a video, i think that you can make it work in a beautiful way.
I love the idea of that built in partition. Is it able to slide by chance? That ceiling space from the footage looks like it was design to move that partition around but I might just be seeing things. It would be great if it was a little farther back in the space so the kitchen could be more open space eat in/living room situation and then the partition would separate your sleeping space. I’m always interested how people design their studio apts to accommodate different functionality. So happy for your move and excited to see what’s to come!
I love your apartment!! I'd put the bed next to the partition and add a thin bookcase next to the bed to add an illusion of a privacy wall and put your desk next to the window so you can eat and work while looking at the ocean. Also, big white flowy curtains because people often forget that at these apartments people can look in at night and it is now your bedroom ha. Cant wait to see how you decorate! You seem so much happier already!!
Hi! Could you do a video about how English friendly Busan is and some foreigner friendly places? I don't see a lot of Busan youtubers so I'd love to learn more about the city!
I love your new place!! I would put the headboard of your bed against the partition so that you have the view when you wake up and also so that your bed isn’t the first thing you view when you walk in. This would leave the window area for a small seating area!! The vibe is fantastic! Congrats!!
I love how u were able to move back to the place u felt more at home and that u have an even better apartment that fits in ur vibe and I can’t wait to get sneak peaks on how ur apartment looks now! Have a great day💕
Ok in my head I envision a nightstand and the bed on the other side of the kitchen partition so it’s not in eye sight when you walk through. Maybe even adding a cube storage to really make it feel like a dif space or something That way you see the living room and also your living room is by the big windows like your last apartment!
I think if you put the TV at the back of the kitchen partition and a couch facing it, then a bed near the window you can kind of separate the space. But I am not sure if you would want it more open! If so there are a lot of couch/bed combos that would save you space
Looks wonderful! I can't wait to see all your things in it! What does your BF think? And being able to be at the beach every day is such a plus! I'm happy for you, Adrienne!
It looks perfect. I feel like you need a cozy chair that allows you to sit and stare at that beautiful beach view while you are in the apartment. The curtain idea is brilliant. Not sure about that green plexi part of the partition. You’d either have to cover it or lean in to it.
super late but how i'd arrange it: i'd put the bed long ways (one end by window, the other going toward the kitchen partition) with a small desk next to it looking out the window. and use a bookshelf to "close off" the bed area. then the couch would be between the bed and kitchen partition. tv stand and table (small square 1 for 2) would go on the wall with the suitcase. or filp the couch and table/tv stand to be near the bookshelf. hope that made sense. and girl beach front with 5k and 500/month?? nice!
I would have a a nice sofa double bed 😉 so during the day I would have a sofa and a night time the vibe would change transforming into a bed ☺️ but it’s just me heheh I couldn’t just have a bed all day to sit and sleep. Love the idea of a curtain hanging to hide the green in the partition area or even a bamboon screening would give some beach vibes 👍🏻Lovely little place, and all that matters is that you are happy in it 💕 good luck with everything x
Ive always dreamnt of living by the beach! No matter how small the space is, still that view is sooo priceless! Imagine waking up everyday with that view. Its so calming.. 💙
I hope you do another Q&A one day cause I am curious how you can afford to move twice in a pandemic and not working for over 6 months!! Honestly the view makes the studio very comfy and livable :) without it you feel really boxed in..with the view feel like it psychologically makes the apartment feel slightly bigger. Suggest you go for a very minimalist modern style of setting up your space !
Even though I’m not a teacher, I am working far more hours now as a freelancer in korea! So I have most definitely been working this whole time haha :)
I’m jealous omg + this is such a nice place! Doesn’t look cramped like a studio here in the US! Congrats on the move! Hope you feel better and that you get comfortable back home in Busan🥺🤍 thanks for the vlog queen🤍🤍
Love this apartment! The view/location on the beach is unbeatable. I'm big on multipurpose furniture; if I were to style it I think I would get one of those foldable desk/closet beds adjacent to the kitchen/partition and by the window have a small couch/lounge chair (kinda as a reading nook). Love the idea of hanging up curtains on the partition area will make it look soft and airy
Thank you for showing us your apartment! It’s amazing and so beautiful 🥺 Thank you for being an amazing person and will continue to support you no matter what 🥺🥺🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️
That view is definitely your happy place 🥰 It does seem small, but I'm sure that you will make it work. I can't wait to see how you add your personal touch to the place.
This apartment totally reflects your spirit. I can’t wait to see what you do with it!! I’m so happy and excited that you are where you belong! Look forward to the adventures you take us on. As always. All the love and support for you Girl! 🥰🌸
That is a nice space with so much potential. I would definently put a white curtain there and place your bed by the partition. I would have your living/dining area by that beautiful view. Can't wait to see the settled in place!
I would put the bed near the window for light, to wake up with the ocean view everyday, and to be as far as possible from the kitchen. I don’t like my bed and clothes to smell but in a studio it’s inevitable. Or put the bed in the middle with a small table by the window to eat and edit with a view to ease your mind and relax you. Again congrats on the new place!
I love that beach view!!! As for the house layout... if it were me I'd probably put a two-seater table in the "niche" to the right of the kitchen and the tv stand against the divider. And I'd try to face the bed towards the windows to get in the beautiful view (maybe a low bookshelf unit or tiny loveseat as "headboard"?)
I would the by the window, so when you wake up the first thing you see is the ocean. Then I would break the main living area into zones, by getting a shelf or partition So, if you have a friend over, they have the little living room area to the themselves and you have your space. Also, if you get a dinette, make it a small one.
Even for a studio, this would be min 1400 in a small city, ny/la like 2100, and with that security feature. We not even gonna talk about the beach location. That makes even more of a difference! Very happy for your new home though, it’s really amazing.
Congrats girl! 🥳💕 That view is worth it!! Ahh!! If this was my space, I would have a sheer white curtain wrapping around that awkward divider & have pretty lights dangling from the top all the way down to the ground 👌🏼 I would then put my bed in front of it. Would be a pretty back drop too!
Really liked the apartment in Seoul if you could have that in busan would be awesome. This studio is a.decent size, you can get a double bed and sofa in there which is good. Really glad your back in busan you seem so happy
Thank you so much for your honesty, and showing us this Beautiful place! I hope you are enjoying your new home with your comfort veiw 🥰 You're such an inspiration for my journey to going to Korea! Maybe you cab take the green film off from the partition wall and make it white?
Oh Adrienne - I am so happy for you. ♥ Thinking of set up, I think I would put a table and chair/s near the window. You can sit and eat there, do "work" there, etc and enjoy that lovely view. I was imagining a counter along the back of the partition as well. Can't wait to see what you do with the place and congratulations!!

I love everything about it. I’ve always found small spaces to be very calming, cozy and they make me feel safe.
Congrats!!
Such an ideal minimalistic living space I’m so happy for you!
Nothing beats being by the ocean! It gives me such good chill vibes. I can’t wait to see how you decorate it. It has so much potential!
@@adriennehilll ohhhh ok! I understand :)
I’m jealous omg + this is such a nice place! Doesn’t look cramped like a studio here in the US! Congrats on the move! Hope you feel better and that you get comfortable back home in Busan🥺🤍 thanks for the vlog queen🤍🤍
You look so much happier and at peace in this space 💜 so happy for you!
That’s the most peaceful place to live in. I can just picture waking up in the morning with a cup of coffee going for a walk. So nice
That is a nice space with so much potential. I would definently put a white curtain there and place your bed by the partition. I would have your living/dining area by that beautiful view. Can't wait to see the settled in place!
You’re living my dream 🤗 this place is beautiful, I’m excited to see what you’ll do with the place! Can’t wait!
I hope you collab again with April for your new apartment decor. ❤
Awe yay! I’ve been waiting for this one. So happy you’re by the beach again 🖤
I literally love it ❤️ I am so happy for you that you finally have the apartment you wanted ❤️❤️❤️✨
Your new place made me smile this morning!!! It is so cute and cozy! Andddd that viewwwwwww!!! I hope you have a blast there!
I definitely love the idea of making a video about how to move in Korea! Love your new place and I’m happy youre happy 😊
So, so happy for you and Miss Cleo! The beach vibe is life!!❤❤
for the deposit prices that you see in other videos 5000 is awesome specially when you have such a lovely view! so amazing ♡
I love your apartment videos. I can't wait to see this apartment furnished 💕
I love that beach view!!! As for the house layout... if it were me I'd probably put a two-seater table in the "niche" to the right of the kitchen and the tv stand against the divider. And I'd try to face the bed towards the windows to get in the beautiful view (maybe a low bookshelf unit or tiny loveseat as "headboard"?)
your videos are so calming and aesthetic! your editing is so gooooood! i love you
Super cute and cozy! I can feel the vibes from the West coast, lol. So glad you found your new home by the beach!
You have an incredible view from your apartment!! So happy for you and I love your videos! 💕
So happy for you! Can't wait to see all of your adventures in the new place!
I'm already looking forward to Summertime for you! 💖💖
I would make sure that the couch and/or bed is on the wall that faces the beach. So you can always see the water ^^
Girl you look so much happier already 🥺❤❤❤
Make ur living room by the window. Do a similar partition as your kitchen and put your bed between kitchen and living room.
I cant wait for her to decorate! I KNOW IS GONNA BE AESTHETIC AS THE SUN 😍😍✨
Really liked the apartment in Seoul if you could have that in busan would be awesome. This studio is a.decent size, you can get a double bed and sofa in there which is good. Really glad your back in busan you seem so happy
I would get some cute stick on wallpaper to place over the green part of the partition or something. Can’t wait to see how you decorate!!
If you don’t want a tv, couch and seating against the partition, so the bed could be set up by the window with easy view of the water
Or a couch that turns into a bed
Thank you so much for your honesty, and showing us this Beautiful place!
I hope you are enjoying your new home with your comfort veiw 🥰
You're such an inspiration for my journey to going to Korea!
Great apparment the view beautiful imagine walking up every morning and seeing the sea so lucky goodnight from Greece 🇬🇷 😴 💙 👍🙋♀️
U could do some Scandinavian type of thing or some 70's indie but with that beach view i would be awesome if u make it the Bahamas style
Glad that you are feeling way better in this place 😊 it matches your spirit so you go girl 👏
omg that’s beautiful!!! i would be so so so happy to live in a place like that!! hope you’re happy adri!
I really like your new apartment studio Adrienne. I'm totally in for the sea vibe. Btw loved the music at the end !!
Oh. I literally came back to Seoul today from having stayed in that area! When I tell you I spent every moment I was indoors glued to the window watching people walk their dogs on the beach. Wow
