Thanks for the help. Does the plane perform the flare itself when in autoland mode? After capturing the glide slope, you can set the go around altitude (just in case!) which in this case should be 5000ft. I'll try an autoland tomorrow ...

One question, I noticed you didn't hit the approach knob, you kept it on map. Are you supposed to turn that knob to APP?

You only need the APP knob if you want to see the view that helps with approach. If you are manually landing it can be easier to see on that screen. It does nothing for the landing configuration of the aircraft.
