Anyone else notice how the Swordsman class looks suspiciously like Howl from Howls Moving Castle, you know the Studio Ghibli film/movie with music from Joe Hisaishi the same Joe Hisaishi who did the music for Ni No Kuni the movie, wrath of the white witch, one more Ni No Kuni game(I think), and now this one.
That was the whole reason I opened the game in store when it was advertised.
I grabbed the name howl on my server and I've never enjoyed a game more
It's because Netmarble collaborates with Level-5 and Studio Ghibli

Thanks so much!!! This definitely changed my mind as to what class I was leaning towards. Aesthetically I really liked the Witch the best, since she was a tall lady, but now that I've seen the video definitely won't be picking that one. I've never liked to play selfish kits, so I'll probably go either Swordsman, Rogue, or Engineer instead. I'm leaning towards Engineer since I ranged makes it easier to kite enemies if you get in over your head and it's still the feminine character I wanted to play, just shorter but Rogue seemed really fun too.
Now that I watched, I can't choose HAHAHA

@@SnowMichael Far distance weapon like guns are helpful for healer I think but I do expect magic more for a healer

Witch. Pure DMG is always useful. No need to heal if the enemy is dead.

I always main mage class in games.. but it seems the witch here seems too basic.. the one catching my attention is the engineer.. so i might end up being one.

Idk but every mmorpg or rpg game I’ve played I will always go for swordsman class. And most of the time i will choose katana as my main weapon but Ni No Kuni doesn’t have the option for weapon which doesn’t really bother me

Yup, especially when u build a tanky mage in games that allow it. A self sustaining tanky mage is the best thing there is.

after watching this, it seems that swordsman is the best class to pick if you wanna solo grind. Pretty balanced at all aspects.

Yes but genshin is full pve that means it's not p2w but this mmorpg which means pvp so p2w players will become super strong in no time
Some of the class are somewhat similar to dragon nest's character class.... this is very interesting.... and also, there could be additional classes in the future... still debating on which class i will choose for this game. Comes down to engineer and rogue
Definitely rogue/engineer, i think a supporter rogue/hunter is so unique and not a typical supporter you find on another games.
not sure whats up with me and the "engineer" class in games, but i always tend to main them and it looks like this game will be no different, looking forward to global release and thank you for this amazing intro guide to the classes in the game

I was an Engineer at first, but the moment I reached Evermore I simply changed my mind. It was like a Sea of Engineers as far as the eye can see.
And sadly I'm one of those people that prefer playing least popular classes because seeing how far you can take them and out playing more popular classes is fun.
In short I ended up with Destroyer.
Same boaaat! Spin to win is OP anyway. Just have to find a way to get that pull and taunt skill for additional dps.

Plus destroyer being a tank and dps that's pretty broken
@@luigimario2348 it'll depend on how important crowd control is in this game, if the majority of enemies are too agile for destroyer it will be ... annoying to say the least

question - does anyone know distribution of classes in non-global? going healer/engineer in games usually can get you into a lot of dungeon groups bc a healer is super useful, but not sure if a ton of people will already be playing that class. thanks!

I picked swordsman cause he sort of reminds me of Howl 😵💫 Plus I’m a heavy sword user in Genshin so that’s pretty convenient for me
I really like the Witch's personality based on her way of talking and I also like how she's a pure damage dealer

Swordsman is basically Red Mage. So going for it!
Definitely pick the swordman, his whole design and also sword user is why i pick him, just kinda wish he use a greatsword lol

Yes, you will want to level them all up for account progress - but you will have to have a main because of limited resources and time

I still can't chose... like i have something special for witches but I feel comfortable being supdps, healer and while doing attacks from the distance
Its Bonk Bonk time with the Destroyer.
I would say around lvl 25 is when you need to dedicate yourself to a class not "pick one and stick to it because you aint gonna have enough stuff for em all". You are given loads of stuff to use for weapons, armor, familiars, etc to fully test out each class and see what you like sure to really see a growth you need to dedicate your supplies to one unit most likely but that shouldnt stop you from wanting to build up your other classes you enjoy playing almost if not just as much as your main class just because your short on resources. All it takes is management and game knowledge for getting the things you need efficiently without spending money since the only time you really need to spend money is for a specific skill thats locked pehind a pay wall or the gacha system for fantastic loot. Otherwise you can grind things out pretty easily since kost of the beginning can be automatically done with little imput from the player directly (besides dialog which is ngl annoying)

I like Howl’s visual appearance, but i like the Engineer’s attack style… 😭 i’m so sad-
In kr server for a year. You can raise a character for each class. Start with Witch or Rogue. Best for pve and auto farming/hunting. There's a leveling boost if you already have a character. Use that for other classes to lvl up faster
started with engineer hoping I can support my kingdom mates faster but im gap with the CP
I really hope they do add a "cancel" feature.
having be able to bluff will change the game style for sure...
they can easily do this by (gesture) "clicking the skill then drag to the right before releasing"
they can put a CD on it so you can't keep on bluffing the whole time.

how is the daily grind in this game? is there timed daily events (outside pvp)? it is a very big turn down for me when mmos does this
There is big grind - but there is auto mode to help you greatly.
There also timed events such as World Boss Spawns etc in certain hours.
Any reflect for this game< im thinking its perfect for destroyer or engineer

may i ask for example you have 2 engr in party, do they share cooldown when casting the 30 sec cd buff
That only works for your 3 base abilities I believe and they are on the same cooldown
Im going to pick engineer. Sure I like doing damage but I feel like picking something that isn’t the norm for me
OOOOOH. The class skills are all so good, can we only use them as a set of three per instance or are there quick swap mechanics so we can use all of them lol.

Can you aim rogues bow? I want to play on all my mobile devices, but if rogue needs to aim the bow I will get the pc client.. 😯 if it is necessary to aim you know..
You can't aim - the bow is like a shotgun, shooting enemies in a pack. The abilties can be aimed depending on where you look!
Just got the game on my phone i ended up picking swordsman because he reminded me of howl with the character design😭
downloaded this (global release), but haven't really played it. I don't like PVP games, so I'm sitting on the fence on whether to put in any time and effort on this game. Can anybody tell me if I can play it without PVP?
