what's not simple is not making a mistake with the other 4 blocks while the game instantly floors your piece
Oh god I relate to the button mashing at the end so much. Hitting the keys intensely hard is absolutely necessary for level 25+ survival

Man I’ve been going for T-spins but I never actually thought of a method. With this I should be able to easily beat my 717k
Edit: I was very wrong. This strategy is hard as fuck. Props to anyone who can successfully do this. I still need a lot of practice.

It's called ST stacking
Indeed it is called ST Stacking, it's actually not as bad as you think, buuut only if you know the method properly. There are plenty of good ST Stacking tutorials out there. It's definitely worth learning!

hey, do you use all 3 fingers on the moving keys when playing?
my fingers get so wrapped up whenever im trying to use 3 so i end up using 2, but not sure if it slows me a huge ammount and if i should start trying to learn using all 3.

It's better to use 3 fingers each hand, because you have to do CW and CCW to master efficiency
Just asking, why dont you use mouse control? If it's just a matter of having no mouse, would you reccomend those who have one to keep using it? Or switch to keyboard control?
For me, it's difficult to play with mouse controls. Tspins are much more difficult to build and execute. It may help some people with surviving at high speeds, but it's not particularly good for scoring high.

So does the level go up according to the amount of lines you've cleared rather than to your score? Because my high score as of right now is 568,993 at level 28 with 270 lines. But you got to that score still on level 13 and by the time you were at level 28 with 270 lines your score was 2,639,798. I suppose then, I should strategize my point earnings more, because as of right now I don't really do it at all.

Why are T-spins a good strategy?
Tetrises give 800 points, while T-Spin Doubles give 1200 points. TSDs give more points while clearing fewer lines, so you can cram a lot more points before hitting a high level. Once you factor in the level multiplier and b2b bonus, TSDs give significantly more points!

Note that only T tetriminos give extra points for spins that clear lines.
@@Supershocky That sounds rather unbalanced. T spin doubles are easy to create and clean while tetrises can screw your board up with the right kind of drought..
@@Void_Delphox I think it's the reverse: T-Spin Doubles are harder to create and execute than Tetrises. If you haven't performed a T-Spin Double before, try it yourself.
Also this game has a 7-bag randomizer, so you're going to get a longbar every 7 pieces on average and you'll never be droughted for more than 13 pieces.
@@Supershocky i play PPT a lot. I struggle with most spins, and I'm not good at t-spin triple setups, but t-spin doubles are easy. I get screwed going for tetris stacks more.

yes, t spins clear half as many lines as tetris (and level is based on lines) but they give the same points

why does it feel like it starts moving fast at 500k for u but mine starts dropping fast at 300k
its the number of lines and the level youre at. the level(and the speed) goes up every with every 10 lines you get so you can only get 3 tetris', so at 800 points a piece youd have 2400 points total (thats if youre on level one and ignoring like back-to-back multiplier type stuff) before the level goes up. however a t-spin, or t-spin double in this case, is only 2 lines you you can get 5 of them, so 1200 points for just one leaving you with 6000 points before you level up(again thats if youre on level one and ignoring multipliers). Also since a tetris is 4 lines you dont get to get as many of them per level. like if you get nothing but tetris' in level 1 then you go into level 2 with 12 lines so you can only get 2 tetris' before you level up again. so all this being said even if you play a "perfect" game when you only get tetris' then by the time youre at 300k points youre at level 17 but if you play a "perfect" game where you only do t-spins then youd be at 500k by level 13 (if i did my math right but both the level would actually be a little bit lower since i didnt do the math for multipliers and theres also the points for hard and soft drops but thats always going to vary)
