The one thing with Michael Hall I don't see a lot of people making note of is that he played at 285 in college, but all of his combined measurements were of him at 300, seems like he's intending to play at that weight rather than that ultra-light hyper athletic DT role Ohio State loves to have guys play.
enjoyed your video, very informative and on point. Do any of the DT compare to Mazi Smith the DT from Michigan that was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1st round last year?
Marcus Harris will be a steal. Absolutely amazing at redirecting the blockers hands, reading and shredding. I think you have him to low. His patience to see where the play is going and discards the blocker is better than most I’ve seen in this and last years draft. Only knock is that it’s his same approach on passing downs and costs him at getting to the passer. I can see whoever drafts him, to ask him to put on 15-20 lbs to anchor the middle
So glad to see someone else high on Mekhi Wingo. I feel like I am living in a different reality than everyone else when I see him ranked like 100+ on the consensus board. Really want him on the Titans.
Hey Bro, I like your content! how often and accurate are your grades. How long have you been at this? do you you self review 2 or two years later and reconcile any differences? seems like you might? I just like your thoughts.
I started watching tape casually on draft prospects for the 2020 & 2021 classes, doing like 1-2 games of the top 30ish prospects. 2022 was the first class that I did a full big board with 300+ players and this grading scale, so this is my 3rd year. I've had plenty of misses, and will continue to miss on players because it's not a perfect science, but I try to improve my process every year & learn from my mistakes. I was actually planning on doing a video on players I've missed on, starting with the 2022 class. I think I'm going to do that 5-7 weeks into next season and make it a yearly video. Gotta give people time to fully develop. If I had to say now my biggest hits/misses from 2022 Misses - Evan Neal (1st overall) 😷 - Kaiir Elam (21) - Andrew Booth Jr (22) - Lewis Cine (25) - Skyy Moore (30) - Brock Purdy (270) - Christian Benford (288) Hits High on Tyler Smith (21) High on Kerby Joseph (24) Low on Treylon Burks (39) Low on Kenyon Green (40) High on Zach Tom (46) Low on Logan Hall (64) Low on David Bell, Wan'Dale Robinson, Velus Jones (165/178/179) No 1st round grade on a QB

would love evan anderson in tampa as a back up to vita vea/rotational player give vea some rest on early downs and let vea come in and pass rush/push the pocket on 3rd down
Sweat is overrated...? Wow. He "flashes" more than most players on this list. 3rd round... If no "off the field" stuff... Whoa. Who needs him to pass rush? Weight I get the weight. But the rest, is a miss for me.
Yeah a lot of guys, including me, think his high end comp is Vita Vea, who went top 15 no? The DWI might push his eval to the 3rd round or later, but he's definitely not starting there
@@onekidarmya vita vea comp and/or first round projection implies you believe he'll be able to play 85~90% of defensive snaps. Most of the draft analysts lowered Sweat to late 2nd/3rd round when he showed up at the Senior Bowl overweight af and refused to weigh in because it became instantly obvious he'll need to seriously overhaul his off-season conditioning for 2-3 years before a team can use him full time. That's the difference.
@@denniscarney5249 that's why it's the ceiling comp. He dedicates himself to being fitter and works hard to improve, he can become that archetype of player, if not quite as good. I definitely dont think hes likely to reach it though, with his his offseasons gone.
@onekidarmy yeah, I have no issue with the comp. Agree that's what his ceiling could be, although I think he won't sustain it very long. Maybe 3-5 years at best, and mostly after the rookie contract. Was mainly an explanation of why I think even with that ceiling he's still a 3rd rounder at best -- TO ME.
“Built like a minion who ate another minion” is the best way I’ve heard anyone describe a body type 😂
That one cracked me up 😂
