    Where would Cooper DeJean rank as a safety? I like him better at S than at CB.

    Sound like there's no good safeties in this draft lol

    • @yeetusdeletus5714
      @yeetusdeletus5714 Месяц назад +1

      Yea theres no elite safeties but cooper dejean has great potential there if boundary corner doesnt work out for whatever reason and theres some good value in like the 3-4 rounds wit cam kitchens and others

    • @mtndewit
      @mtndewit Месяц назад +1

      Its definitely a weak S class. CBs make up for it. Kam Kitchens looked like he could be a potential 1st rounder before the year but didn't play well and then tested even worse. DeJean might end up at S at the next level but it's no wonder why Xavier McKinney got paid, there is no one close to him coming out.

      Yup. It's ugly. That Packers' mistake of trading away their pick for a high-end talent at this position when they had need of one, to a Division Rival No Less (Brian Branch) look even stupider after another year. Cripes, what _WERE_ they thinking?

    • @yeetusdeletus5714
      @yeetusdeletus5714 Месяц назад

      @@choosecarefully408 mckinney was a nice pick up for yall and idk if u still have rudy ford but if u get dejean in the draft like a ton of people project yall could still get something. Yall also have our second rounder from the rodgers trade too

    • @choosecarefully408
      @choosecarefully408 Месяц назад +1

      @@yeetusdeletus5714 I guess. But 1) a mistake is a mistake & 2) there's no "y'all" here. I'm not team-loyal. I like to see *players* achieve their best.
      & for instance The Main Reason the Packers couldn't win with Rodgers more was their consistently bad drafting & hiring of DCs. Mike McCarthy didn't help.
      When people are loyal to teams they overlook these problems. Players suffer from this. When you consider that Steelers fans can & did chant a terrible OC out of town, we *can affect things* in a positive way.
      Meanwhile two Justins, Herbert & Fields get regularly undermined by their play-callers. I'm shocked (pun intended, get it, the "Chargers?") about Herbert. While I understand that NFL team owners don't have a clue what makes coaches good & hire who they like, a child could see what was wrong with Kellen Moore's plays.
      As for Fields, the first time he tucked the ball & ran when we knew he saw an open receiver I think everyone had a "did he get concussed & we didn't see it" moment. Then the Bears didn't take him into the blue tent even after he did it again & I think everyone realized that they _told him_ to not pass to certain receivers on certain plays.
      What QB could *possibly succeed* in that situation?
      But NFL coaches & GMs don't come to RUclips or skim the news to see what's really going on. So I don't expect them to be able to recognize how bad coaches screw things up because let's face it, it's a heavy job that they can get fired even for doing well or right & they have to keep themselves floating above water.
      But I think that the Giants, but especially Browns & Vikings Really Missed Out on getting Fields for cheap & that with those teams at least two would become instant contenders. The Giants could draft one of the top-3 WRs or Brock Bowers & become ones too.
      If only they looked at what was bad play-calling & great passing ability.
