- Ziff Hudson in his beautiful 1990 Foxbody Mustang was on a mission to be the first 275 Radial tire'd car to make it into the 3second Zone. He came sooo close with a 4.09, 4.01 and the final 4.006 before the fireball engulfed the engine bay. We have faith tho that this car will be back and freshened up before you know it and may still have that chance at the first to the 3's on a 275 Radial!!

Looks like a Pro-Line to me. Which means there is not one GM spec part in it. Just a GM bolt pattern for the bell housing. Just my observation.
Paul Wilson fastest small blocks in the world are Ford modular engines sir. Look up Accufab and MMR. 5s in the quarter mile with production head and block.
Paul Wilson Thats a Proline block and heads based on a Chevy design, thats a $60k engine at least. No "cheap" production Chevy parts here.
Paul Wilson Accufab is running a production block, heads,crank,and most of the valvetrain components. MMR is running a billet block and production heads. "Production" means parts that were built by Ford to be used in their regular models. Not race blocks and heads purposely built by companies like Dart, Brodix, Proline etc. Of course turbos, Prochargers, nitrous etc. need to be added to reach the 3,500hp range needed to race in the 5s. Please post a link of a video of a production block and heads LS, SBC or BBC in the 5s I'll be waiting.
Ziff Hudson is now the first 3 second X275 car i believe. One of the cleanest drag cars out there. Can only be compared to Barry Mitchell's 1969 blown camaro that runs radial vs the world.

Wow, that was quiet a fire he had there! I wonder if the catch can over filled and puked out onto the exhaust? Anyone confirm or deny. I always can't help but wonder what cars like this would run out the back door on a full 1/4 mile pass. I suppose they say just multiply it by 1.557 for the answer. If that's true, this would have done roughly 6.2xx- VERY impressive on a 275 DR. This Racecraft shop turns out a lot of fantastic race cars that kick ass wherever they go ;)

1000 rpm idle. 4 sec capability . With a tag and AC it would almost be perfect

The first 275 car to the 4's isn't true!!! Ron Rhodes '68 Camaro was the first X275 car to the 4's!!! He CONSISTENTLY runs 4.55 or better!!! 2016 YELLOW BULLET NATIONALS at CECIL COUNTY DRAGWAY #1 QUALIFIER at either 4.39 or 4.29!!! JUST REMEMBER,RON RHODES FIRST NITROUS CAR TO THE 4.40'S!!! lonnie sentz I'm pretty sure Ziff is the first to the 4.0's. Not 4 seconds. Meaning 4.09 not 4.99. He also runs Radial vs the World and Pro275 not X275 which Ron Rhodes does. Thanks.
Fox body's are a dime a dozen, dirt cheap too! Put that same set up in a lighter car like a vega and it would be faster.

Probably not or they would have done it. If not then someone else. Also there is a lot more going on than simply taking off 100 lbs and going faster. Weight correlates with traction.
