It's a shame they still haven't added signal priority for trams. I hope it comes in a future patch or a mod. Also the emergency vehicles getting stuck behind trams and not doing anything about it when they have more dynamic pathfinding in place, they could use the opposite lane or even turn around, or make the tram react to the emergency vehicle and cut short its dwell time.
