If you plug in the USB keyboard directly in your PC to control your DAW, you can route that signal to your U6MIDI Pro via a second USB connection and control your synth: www.cme-pro.com/u6-midi-pro-usb-midi-interface-routing-filter/ If you want to control your synth directly you can also consider the USB host functionality of the H4MIDI WC: www.cme-pro.com/h4midi-wc-usb-host-midi-interface/ Hope this helps 🤗
No, the USB ports are all for USB hosts, like your operating system. In our wireless solutions, we do offer WIDI Uhost, it might be interesting for you: www.cme-pro.com/the-best-midi-usb-host-is-wireless/
@CMEPro this unit with software can map midi channels from one keyboard to a controller/ keyboard ? and does software have to be connected to keep mapping ?
@@CMEPro I just purchased u6 pro. I was wondering is there a tutorial anywhere for Ableton for live performance on stage set ups? I am a keyboard player trying to connect multiple keyboards & midi controller, ipad. I can't find a tutorial anywhere to help set this up. Is there a tutorial for the software that comes with this??
@@trajede you need to set it up like any other MIDI interface in Ableton. For configuration via UxMIDI Tools, you can refer to the online start guide via www.cme-pro.com/start-guide-for-uxmidi-tools-software-by-cme/ Hope this helps 🙏
I have these devices: Native Instruments Maschine mk3 Behringer Deepmind 6 Behringer Pro 800 Waldorf Blofeld Modal Craft Sonicware Liven Lo Fi 12 Is the Midi Thru5 WC what I need to run everything?
@@TheIllynow MIDI Thru5 is a MIDI splitter. You can have a single input and copy that to its 5 outputs. It is only for MIDI I/O, not for USB MIDI. So, if you have one central hardware device, and you want to control 5 other pieces of hardware, you are good with the MIDI Thru5 and using 16 MIDI channels. If you want to have more control and configure routing, add a computer, and even filter, consider adding the U6MIDI Pro. Hope this helps!
U6MIDI pro best !

Can any of these boxes act as a USB host? I'd like to use several USB-only MIDI controllers to control several DIN-only MIDI instruments.
