It's always really cool to me when animes have dedicated bands to perform their music. It really adds that sense of unity and identity, and the style that is chosen definitely reflects the tone of the story.
I love the power of the vocals in this type of song. The moment in which it is played influences too, in this case the main character makes a very important decision and this track in the background sounds perfect.

@@wallbarr yeah, it's honestly why I'm not very impressed with CSM. It's cool to have multiple artists, but it just doesn't really do it for me.
Something like Monogatari, Bunny Girl Senpai, Mushoku Tensei, or Mob Psycho, where they either incorporate their own story to the music or have a beautiful chemistry with the series that just ties it so well
I love how Tony's been conditioned to expect the song to go somewhere else in the second half.

ep 6 and 4 man. this song can go in both ways. it made me tear up in the end of ep 6 and made me exited and gave me goosebumps in the end of ep 4. its a masterpiece

@@ghaziyacoub6049 100% Agree with you I also really didn't expect the episode to go in the direction that it did, but I'm more then happy about it. The fight was sick af, those two talking at the beginning was great, and the end was very well done too. Mob Psycho never dissapoints

Been going through your backlog, your analysis definitely adds a level of appreciation and has been helping me practice my listening. One thing I've noticed with Mob Psycho's soundtrack is they do tend to play it safer, but they match it to the action very well. For example, some of the music that comes in during battles can feel a little too empty if I listen to it on its own. But that downside for a listening experience can be boon to the watching experience, because it leaves room for the action to shine. I imagine these made-for-tv constraints are also why some openings go so hard after the first half: It's the musicians having some fun after finishing the 1:30 that goes on air.
This song is a special ending song for episode 6 of season 3.
It was played after a very emotional episode.
Maybe if you actually watch the series, you'd see.

Dude you should listen to "Tomorrow" and "The Rumble of Scientific Triumph" from the "Made in Abyss" anime. Amazing pieces
Kensuke Ushio also does AMAZING work. He created the Chainsaw Man soundtrack but i love his Devilman Crybaby soundtrack. You should definitely listen to Devilman no uta and Smells Blood by him.

You should really react to One Last Kiss! It's one of the most beautiful songs to come from anime. I think reacting to some more beautiful anime sounding anime music would be awesome !

Love your vids! I suggest listening to a Japanese band called Gesu no Kiwami Otome, or ゲスの極み乙女 on RUclips if you want to listen. I recommend the song 私以外私じゃないの or キラーボール. Definitely a lot to break down there specially the bass part.
