Storylines was a great part of the game, even if they oversold it slightly on their channel. Satchel Paige, while being a low OVR, is an unreal card and one that I hope will stay relevant for most of the year. Great job SDS!
The storylines were incredible. I got to learn about players who died before I was even born and it was the most fun I’ve ever had learning about history. If I ever get to Kansas City I’m gonna make it a point to go visit the Negro League museum. Also I think my favorite part of the storylines was where they had all the fielders kneeling around the mound and you just had to strike out the side. That was a lot of fun.
The coolest thing about the storylines wasn’t actually in the moments but last year I went to KC and met Ramone outside the museum and when I asked him what he was doing there he smiled and gave me a 🤫
I loved the satichel paige one where the infielders came and sat by 5he mound and the John Donaldson one where he sent infielders to the bench as he got ours
My favorite part of the storylines was learning about all the players. I had heard of Paige, buck, rube, hank, and of course Jackie cause I’ve seen ken burns baseball documentary series many times. But learning about the other players and learning more about the earlier mentioned players was really interesting. The storylines makes me want to visit the NLBM. Can’t wait to see whos in it next year

a big production like i think it was either madden 18 or 19 where they had “the longshot” idk how to describe it. The mode was like a storyline and my career (road to the show) had a baby and made perfection. Hope Mlb the show does this sometime in the future
I remember being younger and my grandpa told me the story of when satchel brought everyone in and I thought it was crazy. Being able to play that moment was really special and reminded me of all the other stories that he told me when I was growing up.

The fact we taught that Ohtani and Ruth were the only two way players in history is crazy man and all this legends were doing it and we didn’t even think about them.
im kind of confused when it comes to the storylines mode. like will we get a update down the road where they switch the negro leagues out with some other story in baseball like the “2003 marlins world series run” or like “the career of david wright”just for examples idk, but is that a thing they are doing or is it gonna be that negro leagues storylines the whole year?
I don’t know if Foster would have been my choice to start that second game. I had a hard time with his moments and didn’t really feel like his card was that good. Really fun program though. They did a great job with it

I completed Storylines on day one and I don't regret it one bit. I loved the stories that they tell, and getting the cards at the end is just a bonus.

3-4 hours
I got 4 players' storylines done in 1-1.5 hours without the narration. Might take 3-5 hours, maybe 6-7 with Bob Kendrick's narration
