So I read your previous comments in video 18, I'll address it in the next video... but hitting on Cassy, even though she seems uncomfortable with it, seems like.... not something you should do. Yet, apparently if you just keep sexually harassing her she gives in. I'm totally confused by the logic here.
it doesn't really matter as long as you pick all the hearts for her and the big choices that you make will also affect if she likes you. the big choices you make will either a big disapproval across almost all your companions except for a few of them or they will be big approvals and only a few disapproval's. So even if you dont do the pervy options as long as you make the right choices in those big scenarios like something later on you will have to make a big choice. You have to be careful sometimes the choices you think are right might not be right so yeah
That's how relationships work. You just pressure the girl into having sex with you until she finally just breaks down and let's you have your way with her.
She may not like it, but that's how romance works in this game. Always flirt with Cassy and you will get Cassy, just try to balance the "Cassandra slightly disapproves" with things she does like.
Thank you Jesse for the high quality entertainment. I always smile whenever I see another Inquisition episode that's uploaded. Thank you for being so awesome!
Love when you start unlocking chances at extra herbs a longer search radius, the ability to hold more items fun stuff :). An wife loved Dorian's moxie and dialog his charm and arrogance really is fun when he comes in to any scene.
Dude, you have to be one of the most entertaining Let's Players I have ever watched! Love your loot whoring play style, your 80s references, and your equal opportunity romancing ;) You have so earned this sub! Also, Physics Ram FTW!
i like how he said 'i like chests, they are something im very capable of finding' as he walked past a chest on left side of screen when he was crossing the bridge
I don't know how to link time segments but right when he said it, next to a rock, there was a small chest. not the one he told everyone he looted, which i think you are referring to.
I just wanna say that I bought this game yesterday after watching all your videos about it. Having played both previous DA, I was not very hyped for this one, but when I saw your gameplaying, I ran straight to the store and got me one. Good job and keep up with the updates! =)
The "Inquisitor's Edition" of the game comes with a deck of the tarot cards from the game. Also the Bioware store has some posters based on a couple of them.
Jesse, you can get the physical tarot cards in the Inquisitor Edition. It's only available for Xbox and Playstation and they only sell it at Gamestop, I believe. Some people have unboxing videos if you want to see how they look.
Hey Jesse, from my experience playing the game, I find it helps to specialize in on specific field. When I got (insert upcoming character here) I built him just straight lighting, with a few points in spirit to get his revive, along with a few points into other fields, just in case a monster had lighting immunity. But if you wait till your party members get there specialization ability's you can Healy build them to the point of being completely broken, in a fun way. Other way its good to we you enjoying the game :)
As a mage ... though it takes a long time you can glitch the dragons to effectively 'solo' them!! The glitch works with the bizarre logic that as long as you can 'target' the enemy you can kill it ... for the hinterlands dragon i found that standing on rocks to the very right of the entrance to its area lets you target the dragon with little to no offense from it ... and if its done right you can kill it without anyone dying
***** I am specifically referring to the Hissing Wastes. I am going to be bold and say that people probably wouldn't want to watch Jesse mountless in that area.
Hissing Wastes is also the very last area you're supposed to visit, after unlocking and playing through all others. It has the T3 schematics for sale / discovery, and enemies lvl 17+ scaling all the way to 24 (or something like that). A mount would only interfere with Jesse's chronic kleptomania, since you can't ping/loot while mounted, and you also miss out on the (rare) banter.
JOIN HIM, AND THE BUTTERFLY ARMY. I HAVE BEEN A SOLDIER FOR 3 AND A HALF YEARS HERE, AND I HAVE ASCENDED TO THE RANK OF BUTTERFLY LIEUTENANT. COME WITH US BROTHER.
You can't flirt with Cassie because she keeps disapproving of it, but you flirt with men just to make them uncomfortable...Dorian is going to like you.
Embrace the Hinterlands and all they have to offer. Face your demons and come to terms with that which you fear. Go. Claim your birthright as Dragon Slayer.
Is it that difficult to put a warning on it? I guess I'm just a bit bitter. Both Blackwalls quest and the end-scene got spoiled for me on RUclips before I got that far into the game.
Drakestone? "Probably 'started from the bottom, now it's here. Started snortin' d'stone now he's pumpin' iron on his wheelchair.'" - Drakestone addict.
The face when you have tried not to spoil yourself Inquisition... And you are playing 2. And you take a peek. Cassandra Pentaghast and Varric in your party. Holy effing sheit.
I like that - poor Varric for not having snazzier clothes :) But seriously, the carta gear covers up his chest hair and you do not cover up Varric's chest hair. You can buy most of the crafting stuff, including rogue gear, in a shop on Val Royeux's first floor; take the right and go to the back, and you'll find it there near a Chantry woman. When you get to Skyhold, you can also get some new drapes and beds - but you'll find that out later :D ps. Also, those astrarium puzzles are nasty. Have fun doing them!
I suggest you run the story quest till you get to skyhold, your real base. Also keep the return skill points item because you will have to use it when you'll pick only one class specialisation, if you want a useful build. The banner next to the blacksmith sells it, the first is free.
Jesse you should pick cassandra, sera and iron bull as your companions. They have the funniest conversations plus iron bull and cassandra have a little romance i think.
Jesse, get the damage upgrade for the blink. It's not very useful where you are right now, but damn is it useful after the prologue (won't spoil, but the game hasn't nearly started for you yet) when multiple hard-to-kill enemies dog you. Also, when you get the chance invest in static cage's upgrade as well, because upgraded fadestep and that go very well together.
I know that for the sake of progress i shouldnt be telling you this, but... Virtually every place that has veilfire has atleast 1 rune schematic to be found. Have fun searching! :D
I keep checking back to see if Jesse has gotten on with the story yet, or moved on to any of the interesting areas... apparently 19 episodes in, the answer is still 'nope'. XD
Hmmm... did Jesse talk to Corporal Vale after doing all the stuff for the refugees? (I think he's done it all - templars, mages, healer, food, blankets)
The game is about to get pretty crazy, and you're technically not even past the "prologue" yet. Ask anyone who has got a good length into the game, they will tell you that everything before In Your Heart Shall Burn is the real prologue.
Jesse, If you Wanna Romance Cassandra (i Don't Blame you) You need to start taking the romance options. Otherwise you're gona miss your oppertunity. Just a Heads up. Go Get her, Tiger!
I don't remember there being so much fog, is that only in the PC version? I played on the PS4 and I don't remember, it's probably because I haven't been in the hinterlands for over a month now.
Jesse having played this game for far too long, i would suggest maybe ignoring some stuff in the hinterlands if you want because it's a bit fetch and collect questy, and the game gets even better later; but it's up to you :)
are the enhanced (technique name) rings worth keeping in your inventory? I have only sold doubles so far and they take up alot of room. Is there a vendor that sells them later in the game?
Don't worry, he will soon start doing only story missions. Lately his LPs don't pass the 40 episodes, he could have sticked with shadow of mordor for 20-30 more episodes but he speeded up things a lot after a certain point.
Well who knows maybe this will become the new skyrim and he will reach 100 episodes, but i doubt it; now he has schedules of games to play depending on when they come out so he probably already knows when he'll have to finish this game.
dont know if you are aware of this, but on the lord woolsey quest, if you had attacked the ram, he would have turned into a rage demon and attacked you back and you would have failed the quest....guess how i know? Lol
Jesse now that you have finished Shadow of Mordor, can you double down on Dragon Age? I really want to see the choices you are going to make with your character. And with the game being so long, I fear that it will take forever for you to finish it at this rate.
Face facts, Jesse; You're just not right for Cassy. If you have to force it with her like you are, maybe you're just not meant to be. You don't "get" her. You don't seem to like Vivienne (not many do). You could always go for Dorian of Bull.
Spoilers I think? Lord Woolsley or whatever his name was is actually a demon, if you attacked him he would have transformed. I'm not sure if it matters is you kill him or send him back tho, the guy thanks you either way.
jesse , i really liked the previous video , i do not have any problem with managing the inquisition and trying to bang everyone in the inquisition , but in episodes when you go out in the world and stuff im not that fond off , dont get me wrong they are great but seeing you for a constant 10-15 minutes picking flowers is not that exciting .... all i am saying is that i dont want this turn out like skyrim did . - a big fan
So I read your previous comments in video 18, I'll address it in the next video... but hitting on Cassy, even though she seems uncomfortable with it, seems like.... not something you should do. That's how relationships work. You just pressure the girl into having sex with you until she finally just breaks down and let's you have your way with her.
I wouldn't be too sure of their accuracy, I'm sure you can choose to not pick a few hearts and still be able to romance her.
Keep sexual harassing her! She can't resist the charm.
I know that the next episode will be amazing just because of Dorian, the "Moustache Man"....
I am 100% straight but that moustache makes me doubt it.
DATskorge I was almost ready to create a male character to romance him when I saw him. dem moustaches
DATskorge And not Blackwall's facial hair? It's much more impressive
David Comber i romanced him my first playthrough, he's totes adorbs
legion999 but that mustache, yeah blackwall has a glorious beard but that mustache man, the mustache
Thanks for making these longer vids, glad to see them again. Gives me somethin' fun to watch during dead times at work.
This 60 frames per second feels so good on my eyes that are so familiar with choppily running games. 'Tis a thing of beauty.
( 9:49 ) Wait a minute... That's not the Excalibur !
You have been ripped off ! Damn Lady of the Lake.
Love your loot whoring play style, your 80s references, and your equal opportunity romancing ;) You have so earned this sub!

i like how he said 'i like chests, they are something im very capable of finding' as he walked past a chest on left side of screen when he was crossing the bridge
"I'm totally capable of finding chests!" -misses a chest while saying that-
He has already looted that chest
I don't know how to link time segments but right when he said it, next to a rock, there was a small chest. not the one he told everyone he looted, which i think you are referring to.
No i actually meant that small chest. He got some qunari stuff from it i believe
YAY! 2 episodes in the same day! Could you do this more often? I love how this let's play is going!
Black Walls passive aggressive reaction to not being there to discover grey warden artifacts is worth not bringing him.
I just wanna say that I bought this game yesterday after watching all your videos about it. Having played both previous DA, I was not very hyped for this one, but when I saw your gameplaying, I ran straight to the store and got me one. Good job and keep up with the updates! =)

You rule Jesse! Thanks for two videos in a day!!
Hey Jesse, from my experience playing the game, I find it helps to specialize in on specific field. Er, is Jesse aware you can swap the party around at every camp ?
Jesse, shouldn't you go get the horses now? At least do the quest that lets you use mounts. You'll def need it in some zones.
No ya don´t,mounts are useless
***** I am specifically referring to the Hissing Wastes. I am going to be bold and say that people probably wouldn't want to watch Jesse mountless in that area.
Sarah J Hissing Wastes...that´s the large desert area right?
***** Yes. The entirely 75% empty desert that has only pockets of content and takes even a mount a few minutes to transverse. That desert.
9:45 That was a total "Lady of the Lake" moment there.
I say keep on keeping on with the hinterlands, or however you want to play. I trust in the Jesse Cox.
WHY AM I NOT SUBSCRIBED TO THIS BEAUTIFUL BASTARD?
JOIN HIM, AND THE BUTTERFLY ARMY. I HAVE BEEN A SOLDIER FOR 3 AND A HALF YEARS HERE, AND I HAVE ASCENDED TO THE RANK OF BUTTERFLY LIEUTENANT. COME WITH US BROTHER.
+Hawnzor It's not a army, it's a religion...
varric and solas when they were chasing that guy reminded me of legolas and gimli
I was drinking something when he said "this looks like something i saw in a biology textbook once" Then, I was choking.
Nazareth is awesome, although the Everly Brothers already released their version in 1960. ;)
I was so scared he'd accidentally kill lord woosely.
I can't wait until the game ACTUALLY starts.
Always start at a dead end Jesse.
Ooh, two episodes in a row. You spoil us.
Probably because the last episode was all talk, so he felt bad.
Cassandra slightly approves of this video, and I approve massively of the new outfit for Nic.
You can't flirt with Cassie because she keeps disapproving of it, but you flirt with men just to make them uncomfortable...Dorian is going to like you.
Jesse, stay in dem Hinterlands and grind until your blind.
So elfroot won't shut up? So it's basically Nirnroot in disguise.
Embrace the Hinterlands and all they have to offer. Face your demons and come to terms with that which you fear. Go. Claim your birthright as Dragon Slayer.
You need to do the horse master quests to get mounts like horses and later giant rideable nugs.
You evil devil man, I was about to go to sleep
I'm pretty sure that's a reference to King Arthur, where a spirit from a lake gave King Arthur a powerful sword...
You should really keep an eye on your map. ESPECIALLY when it's blinking and there's loot around
they would have to be really old not to know Love Hurts because it was originally written by the Everly Brothers and made refamous by Nazereth
If you killed woolsworth he would've turned into a red demon thing :3
In my playthrough, I killed Lord Woolsey when he turned into a demon and was paid by One-Eyed Jimmy to keep quiet about it. XD
Even though it's just a small quest that's a pretty spoilery thing to say. I had a lot of fun finding that out. Don't ruin it for people.
Jaquiline Kangas
You're watching a playthrough and are complaining about spoilers? Oi vey.
Is it that difficult to put a warning on it?
I guess I'm just a bit bitter. Both Blackwalls quest and the end-scene got spoiled for me on RUclips before I got that far into the game.
DrNoxin you spolt the playthough?
Jaquiline Kangas Thanks for spoiling it for me.
Looks like Jesse's SLI is glitching again. That fog shouldn't be that thick.
You'd look so awesome as the only Mage in your Team...
I like that - poor Varric for not having snazzier clothes :) But seriously, the carta gear covers up his chest hair and you do not cover up Varric's chest hair. You can buy most of the crafting stuff, including rogue gear, in a shop on Val Royeux's first floor; take the right and go to the back, and you'll find it there near a Chantry woman. thanks for the long episode man.
Jesse you should pick cassandra, sera and iron bull as your companions. They have the funniest conversations plus iron bull and cassandra have a little romance i think.
I think Jesse will enjoy the next character
What happened to "I should take Blackwall to do these quests because those are the ones he said he's in to"
Don't be stupid Jesse. There's not such thing as a Transcendental Goat. There is, however, a Transcendental Pig.
King Arthur lore in affect!
is anyone else dumbfounded. that he finds such cool stuff and continues as if nothing happened?
Spirit of the Lake!! KING ARTHUR REFERENCE!!!!!!!!!
Fade step damage upgrade is always useful. 300% weapon dps nuke on short cooldown with an aoe for ZERO MANA
For the record, Blackwall is pretty much made for tanking...
I know that for the sake of progress i shouldnt be telling you this, but... Virtually every place that has veilfire has atleast 1 rune schematic to be found.
Have fun searching! :D
jesse you need to do the horse mount quest before you move on!
Not really, mounts are kinda useless in this game
Hissing wastelands. If you did that zone you know why you need a mount
Bogglemanify
Hissing wastelands is the last place you should go.
Bogglemanify I did Hissing Wastelands completely without horses just fine. There's really not that much of a speed difference when mounted.
I love that outfit you're wearing, man. So fab
The cards exist physically through the Tarot cards included in the collectors edition.
I keep checking back to see if Jesse has gotten on with the story yet, or moved on to any of the interesting areas... apparently 19 episodes in, the answer is still 'nope'. XD
Do as much as you can in the Hinterlands its worth it
Hmmm... did Jesse talk to Corporal Vale after doing all the stuff for the refugees? (I think he's done it all - templars, mages, healer, food, blankets)
The game is about to get pretty crazy, and you're technically not even past the "prologue" yet. Ask anyone who has got a good length into the game, they will tell you that everything before In Your Heart Shall Burn is the real prologue.
soooo does Jesse know that the resources respawn every time he travels from one area to another?
Wasn't Velina the Earless's handmaiden in the first game? I think Anais was from the second.
So what _is_ a plethora, Jesse?
Hey jesse beginning of the video you could have swapped party members right their in camp to get blackwall his warden artifact.
Jesse, If you Wanna Romance Cassandra (i Don't Blame you) You need to start taking the romance options. Otherwise you're gona miss your oppertunity. Just a Heads up. Go Get her, Tiger!
Go northwest in the hinterlands its worth it
lol ¡Three Amigos!
What is up with that fog? It's so bright!
I don't remember there being so much fog, is that only in the PC version? I played on the PS4 and I don't remember, it's probably because I haven't been in the hinterlands for over a month now.
I think it shows up sometimes (like rain) because I play PC and haven't ever seen it
Its cuz PC is better we get more stuff ....as if we did
Carl Dumulong All this fog sucks and it's unrealistic, I think it's a bug..
Nope, luckily there isn't on consoles
Consoles can't handle the particles. Chances are if he played on low/medium it would look like the console
> MFW I read the title as "A plethora of pants"
Jesse having played this game for far too long, i would suggest maybe ignoring some stuff in the hinterlands if you want because it's a bit fetch and collect questy, and the game gets even better later; but it's up to you :)
Consider loading and killing Lord Woolsly. (just to see what happens)
hahaha this playthrough is gonna take forever. ;P
ikr. its great :D
"F" works a ton better for ladders
I want Jesse to have Iron bull with him like sooo badly
Too young to know Nazareth? how is that even possible
Hey Jesse, just outta curiosity, how do you have that line depicting where you've been in the map? Is that a PC only thing?
I have the game on xbone and I get the line as well.
I have it on PS3, and no line x.x
are the enhanced (technique name) rings worth keeping in your inventory? I have only sold doubles so far and they take up alot of room. Is there a vendor that sells them later in the game?
Guessing Jesse won't finish this game either that or he won't keep doing everything he finds else this'll be 500+ episodes
Don't worry, he will soon start doing only story missions. Lately his LPs don't pass the 40 episodes, he could have sticked with shadow of mordor for 20-30 more episodes but he speeded up things a lot after a certain point.
gilgameshvolante He hasn't even come across 1/50th of all the herbs in the game tho ^^
Well who knows maybe this will become the new skyrim and he will reach 100 episodes, but i doubt it; now he has schedules of games to play depending on when they come out so he probably already knows when he'll have to finish this game.
gilgameshvolante Witcher 3?
What?
He'll probably play it, he did a Let's Play of the 2 o:
so, what exactly is the evil to balls ratio. I am curious so I can determine just what amount of evil Jesse is referring to.
30fps?, I hope this is just youtube being slow.
dont know if you are aware of this, but on the lord woolsey quest, if you had attacked the ram, he would have turned into a rage demon and attacked you back and you would have failed the quest....guess how i know? Lol
Jesse now that you have finished Shadow of Mordor, can you double down on Dragon Age? I really want to see the choices you are going to make with your character. And with the game being so long, I fear that it will take forever for you to finish it at this rate.
please bring iron bull places, he's hilarious and, makes many inappropriate remarks ^-^
Face facts, Jesse; You're just not right for Cassy. If you have to force it with her like you are, maybe you're just not meant to be. You don't "get" her. She's pretty hardened in her opinion of things and her ways, but deep down, she's a bit of a romantic. As it is, you're well on your way to just being friends, so perhaps looking elsewhere would be best in terms of romance. Josephine might be a more agreeable match. She's...diplomatic. You don't seem to like Vivienne (not many do). You could always go for Dorian of Bull.
That's because he skipped like three romance options in the past few episodes, because he didn't want to be a creeper.
Dat outro doe
did anyone see the person with a barrel inside his body
Spoilers I think?
Lord Woolsley or whatever his name was is actually a demon, if you attacked him he would have transformed. I'm not sure if it matters is you kill him or send him back tho, the guy thanks you either way.
oooooooooh, ooooooooooh, love hurts!
You can equip scout amour to varric
if you wanna see the cards jesse just go to your damn codex :P
jesse , i really liked the previous video , i do not have any problem with managing the inquisition and trying to bang everyone in the inquisition , but in episodes when you go out in the world and stuff im not that fond off , dont get me wrong they are great but seeing you for a constant 10-15 minutes picking flowers is not that exciting .... all i am saying is that i dont want this turn out like skyrim did .
- a big fan
For the love of Saint Michael, pleeeeeeassssse use the other companions in your team. Sera comments are crazy.
*sigh* I miss physics rabbit :c
