captain spider-man aka cosmic spider-man was needed for this mutant massacre, since he defeated it in "the amazing spider-man 329" in 1990. ruclips.net/video/mrhS3Id1O3w/видео.html this tri-sentinel, now called "wild sentinel", was enhanced by the inspiration of the final titan, on the 'attack on titan" series finale. also, it was too enhanced for it to be constructed by humans... during this time period. in a.s.m. 329, the alien, loki, who is thor's adopted brother, had created it during the "acts of vengeance" campaign, against spider-man. so for this cartoon, either it was from an alt. future or someone like apocalypse created it, to start a final war btwn mutants & humans. this would explain cable & the watcher's veiled appearance in this episode.
The original story it Emma Frost that he had to mental connection with because they developed a relationship while Jean did go away in the universe because the Phoenix entity continued to use her body after defeated a mad alien ruler that bonded with a powerful crystal that tried to destroy the cosmos.
I know this tragic story where 16 million mutants died and if it's not the Professor's sister behind this because both Gray and Prier had what looked like a psychic attack so Cassandra could be behind this to knock out telepaths before geneside started happened, but then I started thinking that we've just been introduced to one of those ancient evil gods of mischief that goes by the name of The Adversary, and that character loves chaos and despair and what's more despair than what happened in this episode. .. What really tugged at my heartstrings was when you look into Cabel's eyes and realize that it's his mother in front of him and that he couldn't save her.
It still maybe Cassandra but the Visions definitely not because where both about different things Jean's vision was about something was going to happen to Madiline (you can see and hear Jean say Madiline to Scott when he asked what's wrong during madeline's Vision) Madeline's Vision was about Cable coming to warn them and everyone dying it's the same vision she had in episode 1
Xmen 97 EPISODE 5 ,🙆🙆🙆🙆😳😳🙇🙇 Astronomically WOW!!!!!! Let this be a testament that woke writers can also give brilliantly captivating blissfully enjoyable writing. Folks were hating HARD on Beau Demayo for being gay. Major props to BEAU DEMAYO's brilliant writing of this X-men 97 eps 1-5 so far. ............... SIDE NOTE.......... The hypocrisy that folks are hating on Magneto/ Rogue pairing due to age gap but they WANT Wolverine with Jean yet Wolverine is several decades OLDER than Magneto. Make it make sense😂 NOTE: I am not pro- Rogue/Magneto relationship but that hyper-hypocrisy is astounding to say the least.
She even changed her mind and people still claiming that they're "in love" with each other for some reason. I mean, why do they think she's really sad and angry that Gambit was killed? The same reason they are, of course!
The original story Rogue met Magneto when she was a teenager... don't know how long she was on the savage land when they started having relations and the massacre was from the story arc called Extinction.
Ah, too bad Jeneva couldn't make it. I was really enjoying her fresh reactions to this universe. I bet she would've LOVED all the juicy drama in this episode lol
I'm a 40 year old nerd and knew kind of what was coming at the end, but man.. the end broke me. This series has been so amazing.
I agree ! I've read all these stories before. But watching it in real time and hearing the voices with the music. Damn it's so much better !!!
Haillllllll hydraaaaaaaa
"Sugar... I.... I can't feel you..."
- Rogue
that voice acting was heart wrenching.
yeah, I know, I'm here again..
13:53 This entire sequence was in her vision in the first episode of this season! That's insane! 👏

The blonde woman definitely is mystique
Not really
Sentinel would have recognized her as a mutant . He wasn’t targeting her
