I'm always like this content
Oh boy! This will look so awesome! Can't wait for the finished product...!
Neither can i will be done this week
I'm so glad you came back after having your baby, i love how detailed you are witch is giving me more interest to buy a wrecked bike and try to fix it
Well I didn’t have a baby😅😂 but i did buy a house that is why i was gone but i am back
Very good job Garreth. About the brake fluid, the only difference si that the 5.1 Motul brake fluid works un higher tempeture than the #4. So if You go around in a demanding trip You Will notice that brake system doesn't feel tired. Best regards
Thank you! And yeah I like to ride fast and tend to make the breaks hot so i would definitely like to see the difference as i had this same bike but the 2017 model and it had dot4
Also another fact about 5.1
Its the only fluid that can be used in both mineral oil hydraulic clutches and brake fluid clutches that wont eat out the orings and cause premature failure.
Magura clutch systems use mineral oil.
Eg, hydraulic clutch conversions, where someone will use a brembo clutch master paired with a magura clutch slave cylinder.
Brembo use dot4/5.1 where magura use mineral/5.1
@@k1wi_steve wow didn’t know that thanks for the tip!

Take care bro & stay safe. Hope the apprentice is doing well too?🚀🏍
Thanks Steve!! This build is by far going to be the best on the channel and as for the lady she is doing well✌️
Nice job !

Thanks Daniel!
Welcome anytime bro
Красавчег!!! 👍👍👍 Всё чётко и аккуратно 👌
thanks bro
Hey Garreth i think you need a more challenging rebuidls, such as old bikes or bikes that have been left outside without any cover. Or motorcycles that have suffered serious accidents, but obviously have an intact frame without cracks and a whole running engine. I always talk about bikes that are worth investing in and fixing. Personally, motorcycles in these conditions spark my interest more because they require more care and more work.
Hey man thanks for the advice that is actually one of the things i want to start doing altho my interest are more in the newer bikes i want take up a older project
Great progress! 😉 The titanium exhaust looks awesome 👌
Thank you i agree
Happy new year , love ur videos , keep up the good work, best wishes
Happy new year! More to come!!
Amazing project nice details on this bike , nice channel 👍

Thank you
very 9 pro..looking next part this YZF R1..
Coming soon!!
Happy new year from Spain! Great job as always ✌️😉
Thank you and Happy New year to you aswell!
Be sure to adjust chain slack with the rear wheel on the ground, not on a stand, otherwise you will have issues with the chain being too tight.
Chains is all good don’t worry😅
Happy New year Garreth😊!
Thank you and Happy New Year
Happy new year for you 👋🏻😁
Happy new year to you aswell!!
Very very good
Thank you
Happy New Year bro. Hopefully you will reach your target subs this year man. Goodluck to your channel and more build to come 🎉👍

Thanks Craig well only hard work will tell👌🔥
Nice bro👍🤜🤛😉
Thank you 😏
i am an official addicted fan
Thank you Glad you like the Videos!!
Очень интересно! Молодец! 👍
Thank you!!
please put the 2021 fairing on it not the 2019 ones.... older ones look blunt while the newer ones are sharper 🤗
Unfortunately already bought a original fairing set for 2019 and sent it off to the painters but I actually like the 2019 set more the lines and shape has alot more sharp edges the newer one just looks like a R6 to me 😅
@@GarrethCollins cool then 🤟
newer ones do look like R6 and that's a shame for Yamaha, they should've launched R1 with that design before the R6. Everyone say the same thing for ZX6R too "It looks like Ninja 400" 😂😂
@@AST4EVER yeah they should have thought about this
If you use an air compressor it's safer and easier to get the grips off in one piece if you didn't know
It was a little late about 10pm starting the compressor would of been too noisy but i do know that trick thanks for the advise tho✌️✌️
When’s the next build going to be revealed 👀
Nice! Chain looks a bit on the tight side.
The bike is on the stands that is why once it goes on the ground the chain will loosen a bit as the shock will compress a little🤛👍👍
@@GarrethCollins well, I would think that once the swing arm compresses the chain will become more tight. That's why we should always adjust the chain with the rider weight.
@@georgiosphilos2146 i agree the chain should be adjusted with rider weight but you can’t sit on it and adjust same time 😅
@@GarrethCollins once someone helps you check your chain with you on the bike, then you have the reference you need to check the chain in the stand.
you mention gasket sheets. What thickness do you use for the oil housing and what thickness do you use for the water housing? If have other thicknesses you use please let me know. Thank I love your channel.
Oil housing a 0.50mm is usually fine but for water housing they usually have a rubber seal so i use those instead
Nice
Thank you
The wheels came out great. How much did they cost you to get them done?
300 Dollars
Hi there,
Where did you get that SFC engine covers and chain adjusters?
Thanks!
hi bro ! use motul rbf 660 its the beast !!!
Will try it next time!!
🔥🔥🔥
🔥🔥🔥
What is the solvent that you use to clean the oily parts of the bike? Seeing this makes me realize I need to really clean my bike & haven't seen anything clean like that stuff
Kerosene
Que gran contenido saludos desde México 🇲🇽 algún día me gustaría dedicar mi tiempo a modificar motocicletas 🥸✌🏻🏍
Thank you Glad you liked the video
❤️❤️
Do you plan on selling your great work, or adding to your collection ?
This build has become so expensive and so much effort put in i am going to add this to the collection
🙌
😏
🥇🏍
🤛
Great videos! Where did you get the chain adjusters? And how do you like them?
They look good never had adjusters before honestly I’d like to test them before telling people where i got them and maybe find out if the company wants to do future sponsorship for the channel
@@GarrethCollins awesome man! I’m looking at something similar for my L5 Gixxer! I’m subbed so I’ll be watching the new vids! Thanks for the reply! Great channel!
@@justdave7520 thank you and great bike!
Garreth, the bike is looking great! Do you just rebuild these and then sell them? I ask because you put nice quality parts on these bikes that seem like they would cut into your profit if sold.
Hey man i do eventually sell these builds and unfortunately i make no profit on these builds I am trying to let me youtube channel grow and then hopefully one day it will be the profit then i can do more accessories on these bikes but as for the R1 i will be keeping it
👏👏👏
👍👍
What’s in your spray bottles that you use to clean everything?
I have alot of pray bottles with alot of different stuff in it😅
My R1M speed sensor problem 😔
Been subbed for a long time and I love your videos! Hope you break the 100k subs before end of summer 🤗
That would be a really great birthday present 🥺😂
@@GarrethCollins when is your B day? Mine is in July 😁
@@LeonVuksic June 15
@@GarrethCollins ok, I will try to remember and cheer you up on your day! If you ever decide to visit Croatia for a vaication, let me know so we can ride 💪
@@LeonVuksic sweet 🤛
Finally
It is here what do you think?
@@GarrethCollins the wheels are insane, truly gorgeous
Now I'm very curious to see the fairings
@@GarrethCollins if the colors are red and black maybe the gold colored stems could be out of tune, that's all ...
@@alexyorha1650 don’t worry you’re going to be surprised 😏
@@alexyorha1650 😏
Hi
Your Adjustment chain is so tite....
Good job

Top job,but i dont like the yoshi on the R1.Its to beefy
I like beefy and the big holes on the pipes but we will see🤔
Is jy afrikaans daai aksent se so...
Are you from Benoni China?
Pta
How do you clean the gears and chain?
With Kerosense
@@GarrethCollins Thanks ... super cleans ... The bike will be new .. Regards💪💪💪😁🤜🤛
you must buy loc tite in jugs
Actually its the exact same loctite i bought from my very first video 2 years ago
19:10 next time you should just suck that stuff up before filling it up with new
Well i didnt just fill it i flushed the whole system with 2 bottles so suck it up or not wont make a difference
