My wife and I did the Wallaman falls walk in our best walking gear(thongs), had no trouble, and we were in our mid 50’s then. Beautiful view though.

Last time we stayed at Crystal Creek (we usually stay at the van park just off the highway), I drove the kids to see Wallaman Falls, had a mini panic attack half way up the range coz I’m so scared of heights, got to the falls and there was nothing but fog and we could only see a few metres in front of us 😅

That happened to some friends of ours we’ve met the same day they went earlier and couldn’t even see it so much fog, we all have our fears I’m a terrible swimmer so I don’t really like water and climbing rocks where it’s slippery is terrifying 😂 so I totally get it

@@ryan.and.kayleigh the more you do it the easier it gets I guess! My ancestors actually settled at Paluma (the Benhams if you ever read about the history of there). I found out after the first time I had ever been up there. I’ve gone back to Crystal creek twice now with intentions of going up to Paluma to learn more about them from the information centre at Paluma & find some secret spots, but both times I chickened out and didn’t go as the drive up the Paluma range also scares the crappers out of me. Still kicking myself for being a sook. So yeah, don’t let fears hold you back!
