I went to Santa Monica, CA to ask random people to sing with me for my series called "Sing With Me." That's when I met Shirin!
Shirin was just on her regular jog when she saw me with my sign that says "Sing With Me." With enthusiasm, she picked a song to sing, and we did it! But I didn't want us to stop there. We continued to sing together and create a happy inspiring musical experience that we will never forget. Good thing we recorded it because now we get to share it with you!
As a musician, I'm all about creating musical experiences that have people feeling happy and free, and that's why the "Sing With Me" series exists. Since 2018, I have asked thousands of random people to sing with me on camera. A lot of people have said no, some have said no initially but changed their minds to yes, and some have said yes right away. I ask these people to sing with one purpose: to create a way for them to experience a sense of happiness and freedom they did not feel before. And much of the time, this actually works (and that makes ME happy).

Reggie, thanks so much for going out and doing this! It was such a fun surprise to be able to sing with a complete stranger while I was out for a workout, especially during Covid since all the karaoke spots had been shut down for over a year. You seriously bring joy to so many people and you just made my day. I got to do one of my favorite activities with another person who is passionate about music.

@@kathleenclark815 If you're not a pro, it's difficult to follow the key in a windy and noisy place where there's no proper monitoring. She was a little shaky initially but that ended soon as she got into the zone. Yet she still did great in her high registers. I'd give her an A if not an A+. A little sharpening can make her an outright pro.

First off, I would like to command the lady for being so genuine in the way that she sang all those songs.
Secondly, wen the both of u sang Broken together I felt chills within me. See, I loss my mom at the age of 38 back in ‘89 n she could sing.
Then in February of ‘21 I loss my dad😢. So, after hearing the both of u sing Broken, it brought back many memories.

That harmony on the celine dion song was the bomb. Singing when you're prepared and warmed up is hard enough, but to do so when stopped in the middle of a run and still have that tone on some tough songs is awesome.

I knew from the moment she spoke that she has roots from a country which i admire most .. iran , Just a vibe . proved correct , I was enjoying both her music and her behaviour . She is one of the few people who was trying to make the organiser comfortable and she is asking repeatedly what he likes and finally makes him sing that . I am seeing his videos maybe 10 or 15 of them and usually he tries his best to make the singer comfortable . Anyways Iran rocks . I have friends in iran .
