I listened to this because I was specifically told not to about a year ago from a friend I know.
So I looked up Lavender Town, listened to it, thought it wasn't that bad, and saw a whole bunch of creepypasta comments that I didn't get, and now I'm here.
I'm a child but I can't hear the noise. I don't have a headache or anything. The headphones I'm using now only work in the left ear. The right side doesn't.
I have bad hearing because, at school, many kids in my class are always yelling during lunch. So, over the course of 3 years, I had great hearing in the beginning of 5th grade and now that I'm a little over halfway in 7th, my hearing kinda sucks. So I guess I can't hear it due to circumstances.

Honestly, i'm twelve years old and i'm not sure what you people are talking about. Yeah, the high pitched beeping is pretty ear piercing, and the sound is not very soothing, and this is coming from someone who has panic attacks from this sort of thing. it doesnt encourage to kill them selves,but it does have alot to do with paranormal activities. When i listen to it tears stream from my eyes as if feeling sadness from the frequencies being transmitted into my brain. The frequencies has a sad yet calm and chilling note to it. Reminds me of a lost person who tries to find its way out of the dark but instead gets lost further into the dark and eventually is consumed by it until it fades into nothingness,but it comes back to remind people that it may be gone,but not forgotten.

Guys, the reason adults cannot hear the high pitch is because of the nerve cells in your ears, it must be 16000 herts or more because im 12 and i cannot hear it, this is because i have bad hearing of 14000 herts, but most children can hear high frequencies because the hair cells in the ear is healthy, as an adult it gets damaged

This particular song doesn't bother me, but I have an unusual sensitivity to high-pitched noises and certain frequencies give me massive headaches. A lot of electronic music, I have to listen with the volume all the way down because the beepy sounds they use hurt my head. The sounds that make up the backbeat to the Lavender Town theme are very shrill, so I can easily imagine someone who has issues with high frequencies getting nauseated by the Lavender Town theme. However, it's extremely unlikely that someone would have a physical reaction to this but not the other songs from Pokemon (unless it was a placebo effect), since the entire soundtrack uses shrill noises.

Ok, so when the original song from Lavender Town came on with the high pitch frequencies came on, it was really horrible. I was wearing headphones, I am sensitive to high pitched noises, and I have an overall good ability of hearing. When I listen to other versions of the song, it makes me happy and it doesn't hurt. When I listened to the original, I ended up getting a headache after and it left me trembling with sadness. I don't agree with the suicide part of the story, but the music could make you feel upset over nothing.

I'm not gonna lie... I've played Pokemon since the age of two or so (twelve now) and this music always scared the hell out of me, my cousin wondered why so she listened to it with headphones and she got a headache so bad my mom took her to the hospital
I've played it since I was two as well XD I don't remember much about Lavender Town though, I just remember never making it through there because the music haunted me. Then I turned nine and my sister convinced me to try again and like a dumbass I agreed, so I just remember standing in my aunt's living room as I found the ghost and I threw it across the room and didn't try again from there
I never got to the ghost because like I said, the music terrified me. I remember being about three years old and the music gave me a headache and I was like LOL NOPE, but then a few days later I tried again and when I got deeper into the place it freaked me out. Since my cousin introduced me to Pokemon I decided to ask her about the story line, she told me basically everything in the video and I never made it past that place. I seriously do wish I still had the game.
