    Routing the front panel cables under the motherboard sure looks clean. Also I think you're the first person I've seen use heat shrink to wrap the coloured USB and Audio cables. I thought about it but couldn't find thick enough heat shrink that would go over the headers.
    For those break away covers I like to bend the bottom half up first so that it clears the motherboard, then start bending the cover back and forth until it breaks.
    GL with the website!

      Appreciate the comment! I have the heat shrink linked in the description which has the perfect size for this use case.. you don’t have to buy it but check out the sizing. Thanks for the tip!

    My favorite combo build. Simple and clean. Sucks that prices have gone up since the new year. This setup was my go-to with budget all new builds. The 5500 is also a good option instead of the 5600

      I know! Nvme drives are nearly double the price compared to 2 months ago. Btw KingSpec is running a good deal on 1TB nvme’s for a couple more hours on Newegg. I think I’m gonna pick up a few of them. Appreciate you always watching and leaving a comment! I do the same for you but on my other YT account.

    Don’t you have to update bios first so then the motherboard can support the cpu do you know how to do that, cause I’m new to pcs, but super clean build.

    • @kjsbuilt
      @kjsbuilt  4 месяца назад

      Yes & no. Most B450 motherboards already come with the required bios update out of the box when buying brand new. In fact it will say it on the front of the box. However, if you’re buying a b450 used, it may not have the update depending on when it was made.

    I am currently in the process of building this PC but have no idea where you got the cable to plug the graphics card to the motherboard. I ordered everything you have listed in the description and I'm either missing it or they sent me the wrong cables. On the topic of cables the power supply has multiple options and all but one are useless I cannot find where to plug the white 3 pin fan for the rats nest of wires from the front fans. If you could give me some pointers or a video showing how you handled the wires from the case to the board I'd appreciate it.

    • @kjsbuilt
      @kjsbuilt  4 месяца назад

      The only wires for the GPU will plug into the power supply, not the mother board. They should be Asia horse cable extensions.

    • @smashmouth3890
      @smashmouth3890 4 месяца назад

      @@kjsbuiltI think I'm missing some of the asia horse cables extensions I'm not 100% sure. I've dropped off the computer and parts with geek squad to finish the build for me. I'm completely new to building PCs. my father used to build them in the early 2000s but it was way over our heads with the newer components. everything has changed since he last built a computer. Thanks for the help hoping to surprise my brother with the PC as a gift. Still loved the video. You definitely know your stuff.

    1:42 is thermal paste required? I keep watching videos where people do, and people don’t.

    • @kjsbuilt
      @kjsbuilt  29 дней назад +1

      You have to use thermal paste. Sometimes it pre-applied to the cooler so it looks like it’s not being used.
