I understand the awkwardness between Winona and Cass, but they did go to a bar, so blaming it on the alcohol would be a viable excuse: except I definitely think they both know it’s more than that (hence the awkwardness). I like that Winona takes some from her Aunt Tara: it’s definitely realistic! I had a feeling her dad leaving was based on him feeling like it was for the best for Winona and her mom. I’m always reminded whenever I watch this series just how beautiful Chestnut Ridge is 😍 Winona really has made SO much progress here is such a small amount of time: I’m proud of her! i really enjoy your story telling, i had to get up and grab me a snack before i watched this episode. it really saddens me that her dad felt like he wasnt good enough for her and her mom. i cant help but to think that Cass's father has something to do with it. like maybe he said something bad to him and it put him in a bad place. or another thing could be that he overheard a conversation between cass's dad and her mom that made him upset as well.

I love how the one braid Winona has looks like a horse tail 😊Cass is so freaking cute, I love that he went and cooked a cute little romantic dinner for them. I have an idea of what may have caused Jim to feel the way he did .... But love the story and how it's going!! I've also been getting a lot of animation errors, it's frustrating because Better Exceptions says it's pretty much just the game, while mods might be contributing they're not really causing it?? Every time I try to pick up or put down my infant it's like NOPE. 😂 Also worth mentioning, I had to pause mid-comment to go do doctor related things out of the house and came back to the enter button having been pressed many many times so one of my cats says hello 😂 EDIT: Oh, also, the idea I had ... not sure if I have an *exact* idea of what caused Jim to feel the way he did, but I do think Cass's dad had something to do with it. He had feelings for Odina, and given the kind of person Cass's dad seems to be, I wouldn't put it past him to take advantage of Jim's addiction to plant the idea that he will eventually relapse and couldn't possibly be a stable person in the life of his wife and child because of it. Not sure if I'm right because you are a master storyteller and for all I know you could have something completely wild planned but it's my thought!

Ah yes the dishwashing in the bathroom sinks It's not a bug it's been an EA thing for years in this game, and when they have a dishwasher on the lot they'll always use it There is a mod to help with it called Don't Wash Dishes Where You Angry Poop basically adds an 'interaction' where you can disable dish washing on sinks, there is also a mod by the same person called Don't Prepare Meals Where You Angry Poop basically able to disable making meals on certain counters (I mainly use it for bathroom counters and counters in the kitchen hogged by an appliance) And oooOooo auntie is here! I can actually see such a similarity Tara has with Wyonoa
Yes!! I've had them use other sinks before, but if the bathroom sink is occupied and I tell them to wash dishes they literally WILL NOT use the kitchen sink! It's driving me insane! Thank you so much for these mod suggestions - I knew there were some - I'm downloading those ASAP haha!

Omg I was not expecting them to do the mistletoe kiss😳 the glitch with the washing dishes in different sinks is really strange and annoying especially if a sim is taking a shower/bath or using the toilet! Wow the backstory with Winona's father and his drinking problem is kind of sad, the fact that he thinks he is not good enough for winona and her mother took a toll on his drinking.
