I'm not sure what's more disturbing...how people changed literally from one day to the next in 2020 or how they pretend like nothing happened now in 2024. This is just as unsettling.
Yeah I feel people are not the same anymore and I am literally all alone- I’ve nobody left bc they all kind of abandoned me. They became so weird - but they think I’m weird I guess 😂

I’ve always noticed we’ve been more socially distant and it’s obviously due to the advent of social media. We no longer value true friendships, romantic partners, or having regular conversations with people anymore. Our capitalistic, money seeking, selfish world has forgotten that we’re only as good as our relationships. Everyone is so focused on chasing the bag but who cares about how much you have if you can’t use it to experience life with other humans. It’s okay to be alone but understand it comes at a cost as a long term thing. I think we as a whole need to realize that we are hardwired to be social and that neglecting that aspect of ourselves is what’s making us sad, lonely, depressed, and anxious. Good video bro!
I've learnt through experience (I'm 41), that people don't even want to experience life with you unless you have some transactional thing to offer that makes their life more fun and interesting, easier, or gives them more clout. And nobody wants to share their abundance so you both can have a good time, even if it's something as mundane as a movie marathon of movies they already own. I literally had someone tell me last week that they couldn't even be bothered to pick up the phone to call me and share a sunset together over the phone, even if they were thinking of me while watching said sunset.

2020 was extreme and scary. The pressure “to comply” was enormous. In the beginning (first six months) everywhere I went was empty like a ghost town… in a (selfish) way I liked the empty roads (no traffic) and having parks to walk my dog all to myself. But the evil aspect to it was how quickly friends & family turned on each other. Great topic- thanks.

I remember the very first day after we were told to shut our small businesses, I went to the local shop. Everyone was smiling at each other and being so polite, we all knew something was up and had each others backs. That didn't last long AT ALL! UK news and media made sure we turned on each other.
In my mind, I still categorize people based on whether or not they bought into the twenty-twenty narratives. I worked retail on & off during Covid. Sometimes I’d get the people coming in talking about Covid is hoax and then towards the end of 2022 when mandates were lifted a lady got mad at me behind the plastic divider saying I should be wearing a mask! Like, lady, you are in a grocery store, how “safe” can you be with the traffic of people coming in here and touching everything

This was an interesting video to process through while I did my dishes. I've grown up my whole life in the welfare system. Entered into disability at 25. However, the topics you touch upon in this video are things I'd been warning people about, whether it's about the direction I've seen the future head into since high school, or simply day to day activities with interpersonal relationships, and even touching upon the medical aspect of life. I've known for a very long time (longer than before 2020) that drs can turn you away for whatever reason. I was laughed at and ignored for speaking about these things that everyone else is just now understanding. It breaks my heart having known for so long that most people just don't make the time for personal introspection, which is something I've always done since I was a child. I always believed in questioning everything and seeing the reality of any situation you enter instead of just accepting whatever happens through blind faith with the hope that those in power will actually do what's in the people's best interests. I'm 41 years old I've considered myself to be an introvert all my life. Family and only a select few in my life I call a genuine friend and thats all I need. Honestly I've felt the same because a lot of my formative years i was put on Adderall to help me focus and it genuinely help with focus but i felt more like a zombie than ever then so i would stop taking them because of years of adjustment i could never feel normal. I actually confronted my family about 2020, recently in August. They listened but spoke nothing back. Its like they have no thoughts. The juice they took does not help the situation either. It seems they are still in denial. I am still the crazy family member who never gets sick and does not trust hospitals, media and government. Hard to meet new people when if you say one thing they disagree with they just never talk to you again and refuse to hear you out. That's literally what the majority of people do now. This is real conversation right here. 2001 was a prime year, of change in the world. The day we faced terror definitely brought people together to talk about it. I think the timing of it mattered…9/11 happened right before the holidays… times where people tend to get together…. Whereas, the pandemic of 2019-2020 had us on edge but relaxed. Millenial here, I was in middle school during 9/11 and still remember that day like it was a movie. Every time September 11 comes, i am in disbelief still how everyone forgot so easily. It is my belief that the disconnect started with technology. I am so ancient that I remember as a child children actually gathered and played tag, hide and seek, leap frog and a host of other interactive games. By evening we were red cheeked, dirty, and very hungry. Radio was our source of news, music and story telling. School taught reading, writing (penmanship, cursive writing) arithmetic, basic science, history and geography. We all pledged allegiance to the flag each morning in class, and all classrooms displayed an American flag. Our teachers never went rogue from the curriculum to teach sexual abhorrence or radical political policies. I could go on ad nauseam regarding this topic, but I believe this is enough to illustrate how far lost we have become as a nation and to one another.

The husband was the breadwinner of the family. The women had a very important role at home. Children were not latchkey kids like they are now. When WWll broke out the men left to.serve in the military. Many manufacturers started making parts for the military, but there was a shortage of laborers. Women who desired to have a role in the war effort left the home duties to fill the manufacturing jobs. When the men returned from the war the women were reluctant to leave their manufacturing jobs and the wages. That was the beginning of the two working parent household. It was also a drastic change in the way the children were taken care of. The children spent hours without a parental figure. Instead they were minded by sitters and placed in daycare. Then came the era of television! Children could sit for hours in front of the television until their parents came home.Later it became video games. Here we are today a very weakened America, the results of the breakdown in family structure that resulted from World War Two.

You are twenty-five and i am old enough to be your mother. I feel like the changes have been happening slowly since 2008. When I graduated college and first started working I was full of hope. People would start talking to each other and I could meet people. After 2008, I felt like people became meaner in the work place and more apathetic. The next change was Trump. Then the great divide began in 2016. From there the divide and conquer began in 2020, where our leaders no longer wanted to hear from us. They don’t care about us. What people are not talking about is that the Dems are just as bad as the GOP. At least the GOP is honest about their authoritarian tendencies. The Dems are just insidious about it. Even as late as 2019 I had a sense of hope, but today I can’t see one either. This is why children gather in gangs in urban areas it is due to unreliable authority figures and lack of compassion and boundaries. Gangs make kids feel secure. At this time when we are waking up we are feeling more insecure because as a culture I think we are seeing just how much we have been gaslit by those institutions in power. Complete lack of trust. When there is a lack of trust that is when the average Joe goes inside themselves until a leader like a JFK, King, or others come along. We are just blowing in the wind right now awaiting that great activist leader to show the way.

2001 definitely changed my mindset and society after 911 I was 27 my last child was 5 months and nothing was the same anymore, then in 2020 another shift happened and we are still experiencing the trauma from the gaslighting and things that still affect us now as you stated the freedom of speech or should I say lack there of. And witnessing so many young people depressed and suffering from 2020 more than ever is heartbreaking 😢. I literally know a few who are under 30 years old not doing well in this society mentally

The loneliness and disconnection parts rlly resonate with me. Before 2020, despite not having much connection with the ppl I went to school with, I never rlly felt lonely since I just preferred to be by myself + I was hella shy at the time. But then once we all got shut in our homes, I realized that I rlly needed that social interaction to keep me sane. Yeah I had online friends and such, but that never rlly filled the loneliness and emptiness I felt during the peak of the pandemic. I only started to interact with ppl more during my sophomore year of high school(2021-2022) and I'm forever grateful to have the irl friends I've made. But now with me not being in school anymore I don't get to see my friends as much as before(hell, I haven't even seen them since I graduated in June and most of them are still in high school rn). Ik I could easily message them and such, but I just feel nervous to do so since I always feel like I'm not that important to them(this is due to other reasons that I won't get into). So I'm just alone like I was in 2020, feeling disconnected with my friends cuz of the lack of communication.
Covid-19 was like a 9/11 simulation that took out all my former coworkers. There's former coworkers that I never saw or spoke to again when that first lockdown happened. They're all still alive but gone forever, either due to politics or just lost contacts.
The thing is you really can't say anything. Everyone wants to be friends with open minded people but when they encounter someone who is truly open minded they disagree on one thing and never wanna talk to that person ever again. Like. What. People need to drop the ego, stop feeling like they're better than everyone who doesnt perfectly align with every single thing. And start being more open. Accept each other. Help one another. Its hard to want to love people but I never get the love back. The world could be so amazing. It could be a place filled with love where everyone co exists. Everyone could benefit. The whole there has to ve competition and killing and suffering is bullcrap. I worked in the news industry from 2010 - 2020. When Covid-19 hit, it immediately divided the news station I worked at. Everyone worked at home except for the studio crew & master control, we had to work at the station because our job actually kept the lights on but we were the grunt workers. The remote work also quadrupled our workload because we had to feed everything into the station and then on top of that, do our own job to keep the station running. It was sustainable for the first month but after that I got burnt out and demoralized when I realized the pandemic wasn't going to end. I couldn't take it anymore, I ended up quitting that job and the funny part is, the people who stuck with it, ended up losing their jobs a year ago because of automation. I just think it's insane how politicians and the news media want to sweep this under the rug like it never happened. We all lived through it and still think about it today. Our whole system basically collapsed but the average people kept it up and no one noticed the power shift yet.

2020 changed everybody, and not for the better. Maybe it’s just more prevalent now but I have never interacted with so many people who are completely disconnected from reality. People have also only been getting dumber and dumber and now people just don’t give a fuck. People are unironically more closed minded and sensitive than before. I took a hit of my vape pen and realized that technically we are already in the year 2025. When the year change from 2024 to 2025, the number that changes is number of years "completed". When Jan 1st 2024 dropped that was the completion of the 2024th year. Even though we haven't reached Jan 1st 2025 doesn't mean that we are not already in the middle of what would be the 2025th year to be concluded by midnight later this year. Another wonderful and much needed video. Yesterday I realized how difficult it has become to express one’s viewpoint on most things without being censored in a way or another even by friends and what’s even weirder by people who basically share your views on a given subject. It is so absurd.
Honestly, I don’t trust anyone trying to stay relevant on social media. Everything just seems corny now, people really didn’t take “This is the new normal” too well.
Idk how people r making it out here n with me working being around other people they the day has became something that eats at my soul. As if it’s killing me faster to be there n my soul screams I’m suppose to do something else but idk what I can do that’ll remove this feeling n still be able to provide. Idk if it’s being out in the world or is it the people who’s in it but I feel I’m in a foreign place no matter where I go
I feel similarly. 😢 I love people and I want to help people. But working customer service has showed me how nasty most people are now. I hate to say it. But it's so true. People are just so disgusting inside and out now. You can be as nice and respectful to them as you want nobody cares. I've had someone actually attack me for being happy. He was mad that I was smiling. So now I carry a gun in my purse everywhere I go.
It seems to me like people think the 2020s are different than any other decade. While this might be somewhat true, keep in mind that the 2010s were already bad in their own way, and so were previous decades. Its only going to get worse every decade, so lets appreciate the 2020s while we still can, because the 2030s will be closer to hell (literally). For right now, I recommend everybody turns to Jesus. At this point, we dont know what's coming next, and hes our only hope.
i have loving parents that i am very honest with and see almost every week and im pretty happy in life but have been bottling up a lot of frustrations with friends keep falling into the same bad habits over and over and rely on others to support them including me, meanwhile I suffer from chronic migraines with nausea for 3 days at a time and nobody is there to help me. I agree 100% about the gov and stimulus. Money can't fix bad habits and even fuels them. Meanwhile, I invest every extra penny and don't waste anything and still have to drag myself into work, etc. and there i no gov support for chronic migraines and how much they hold us back in life. I'll be fine though because I will continue to find new ways to progress in this world of the lost.
completely agree, i was watching news out of chine from nov 2019 and getting ready with food and avoided the long lines at the grocery store once lock down started in feb, I wore my mask but questioned why people would go get tested in a parking lot let alone a jab, so i never got either seemed like super spreading zones to me. Luckily 2 friends of mine thought the same way and a few more not so much of friends but my entire family thought i was a nut job, and then politics on top of that and riots, I was left feeling like society as a whole let me down and still do. Not sure how I will feel if this election goes the way I don't want.

I’ve always noticed we’ve been more socially distant and it’s obviously due to the advent of social media. We no longer value true friendships, romantic partners, or having regular conversations with people anymore. Our capitalistic, money seeking, selfish world has forgotten that we’re only as good as our relationships. Everyone is so focused on chasing the bag but who cares about how much you have if you can’t use it to experience life with other humans. It’s okay to be alone but understand it comes at a cost as a long term thing. I've learnt through experience (I'm 41), that people don't even want to experience life with you unless you have some transactional thing to offer that makes their life more fun and interesting, easier, or gives them more clout.
And nobody wants to share their abundance so you both can have a good time, even if it's something as mundane as a movie marathon of movies they already own.
I literally had someone tell me last week that they couldn't even be bothered to pick up the phone to call me and share a sunset together over the phone, even if they were thinking of me while watching said sunset.

2020 was extreme and scary. The pressure “to comply” was enormous. In the beginning (first six months) everywhere I went was empty like a ghost town… in a (selfish) way I liked the empty roads (no traffic) and having parks to walk my dog all to myself. But the evil aspect to it was how quickly friends & family turned on each other. Great topic- thanks.

I worked retail on & off during Covid. Sometimes I’d get the people coming in talking about Covid is hoax and then towards the end of 2022 when mandates were lifted a lady got mad at me behind the plastic divider saying I should be wearing a mask! Like, lady, you are in a grocery store, how “safe” can you be with the traffic of people coming in here and touching everything

I've grown up my whole life in the welfare system. Entered into disability at 25.
However, the topics you touch upon in this video are things I'd been warning people about, whether it's about the direction I've seen the future head into since high school, or simply day to day activities with interpersonal relationships, and even touching upon the medical aspect of life. I've known for a very long time (longer than before 2020) that drs can turn you away for whatever reason.
I was laughed at and ignored for speaking about these things that everyone else is just now understanding.
It breaks my heart having known for so long that most people just don't make the time for personal introspection, which is something I've always done since I was a child. I always believed in questioning everything and seeing the reality of any situation you enter instead of just accepting whatever happens through blind faith with the hope that those in power will actually do what's in the people's best interests.
And now, our freedoms we thought we had are disappearing.

I'm 41 years old I've considered myself to be an introvert all my life. Family and only a select few in my life I call a genuine friend and thats all I need. I'm not put on this Earth to be everyone's friend even though I get along with most people I meet. I don't need or want that much attention of having 5,000 " friends".

Honestly I've felt the same because a lot of my formative years i was put on Adderall to help me focus and it genuinely help with focus but i felt more like a zombie than ever then so i would stop taking them because of years of adjustment i could never feel normal. Now fast forward to 2022 probably the most stressed I've ever been in life because of the overnight job that i was working in 2020, but eventually my mental health shattered into pieces because of all the media i was putting in reading eerily depressing books i read at the time and now when i hear stuff in media that has been predicted years ago is happening and now it just upsets me that we put us in this situation and there wont be a fix because the system is worse than the house for a casino

I actually confronted my family about 2020, recently in August. They listened but spoke nothing back. Its like they have no thoughts. The juice they took does not help the situation either. It seems they are still in denial. I am still the crazy family member who never gets sick and does not trust hospitals, media and government. I tried to get close with them, but all the graphene makes it impossible. My advice, meet new people, and distance yourself from the juiced.😮😮❤❤
Hard to meet new people when if you say one thing they disagree with they just never talk to you again and refuse to hear you out. That's literally what the majority of people do now. Everyone who had discernment really felt alone during that time. It was such an evil time. Still is evil, but it’s like now everyone has shifted to pretend like nothing happened. But God has a way of forcing it to be acknowledged so healing can take place. Just don’t know how or when that’s going to happen.

Millenial here, I was in middle school during 9/11 and still remember that day like it was a movie. Every time September 11 comes, i am in disbelief still how everyone forgot so easily. I am not surprised that happened with 2020 at all. They count on people moving on and not seeing the significance of things and events.
Same I remember my car ride home STIILL on that day . I was in 5th grade I’ll never forget

It is my belief that the disconnect started with technology. I am so ancient that I remember as a child children actually gathered and played tag, hide and seek, leap frog and a host of other interactive games. By evening we were red cheeked, dirty, and very hungry. Radio was our source of news, music and story telling. School taught reading, writing (penmanship, cursive writing) arithmetic, basic science, history and geography.
We all pledged allegiance to the flag each morning in class, and all classrooms displayed an American flag.
Our teachers never went rogue from the curriculum to teach sexual abhorrence or radical political policies.
I could go on ad nauseam regarding this topic, but I believe this is enough to illustrate how far lost we have become as a nation and to one another.

@@lostvayne9146 I have to agree with you wholeheartedly. And I will take the Woman’s rights movement back to its origin. Prior to the second World War, most women were homemakers. The husband was the breadwinner of the family. The women had a very important role at home. Children were not latchkey kids like they are now. When WWll broke out the men left to.serve in the military. Many manufacturers started making parts for the military, but there was a shortage of laborers. Women who desired to have a role in the war effort left the home duties to fill the manufacturing jobs. When the men returned from the war the women were reluctant to leave their manufacturing jobs and the wages. That was the beginning of the two working parent household. It was also a drastic change in the way the children were taken care of. The children spent hours without a parental figure. Instead they were minded by sitters and placed in daycare. Then came the era of television! Children could sit for hours in front of the television until their parents came home.Later it became video games. Here we are today a very weakened America, the results of the breakdown in family structure that resulted from World War Two.

Both genders are the same species equal in mind but complimentary to one another. Your policy would debase a woman to the level of property. If you look at how badly that has worked out for the other animal species of our planet you will see the potential results your policy would have for women.

You are twenty-five and i am old enough to be your mother. I feel like the changes have been happening slowly since 2008. When I graduated college and first started working I was full of hope. People would start talking to each other and I could meet people. After 2008, I felt like people became meaner in the work place and more apathetic. The next change was Trump. Then the great divide began in 2016. From there the divide and conquer began in 2020, where our leaders no longer wanted to hear from us. They don’t care about us. What people are not talking about is that the Dems are just as bad as the GOP. At least the GOP is honest about their authoritarian tendencies. The Dems are just insidious about it. Even as late as 2019 I had a sense of hope, but today I can’t see one either. This is why children gather in gangs in urban areas it is due to unreliable authority figures and lack of compassion and boundaries. Gangs make kids feel secure. At this time when we are waking up we are feeling more insecure because as a culture I think we are seeing just how much we have been gaslit by those institutions in power. Complete lack of trust. When there is a lack of trust that is when the average Joe goes inside themselves until a leader like a JFK, King, or others come along. We are just blowing in the wind right now awaiting that great activist leader to show the way.

2001 definitely changed my mindset and society after 911 I was 27 my last child was 5 months and nothing was the same anymore, then in 2020 another shift happened and we are still experiencing the trauma from the gaslighting and things that still affect us now as you stated the freedom of speech or should I say lack there of. And witnessing so many young people depressed and suffering from 2020 more than ever is heartbreaking 😢. I literally know a few who are under 30 years old not doing well in this society mentally
Omg I noticed a shift after 9/11 to, I thought I was tripping. I agree with everything you’re saying, a lot of 30 year olds and even some older people, are battling with past trauma. However I noticed those that are 27-34 years old definitely dealing with deep depression that is really making them mentally unstable 😢

Before 2020, despite not having much connection with the ppl I went to school with, I never rlly felt lonely since I just preferred to be by myself + I was hella shy at the time. But then once we all got shut in our homes, I realized that I rlly needed that social interaction to keep me sane. Yeah I had online friends and such, but that never rlly filled the loneliness and emptiness I felt during the peak of the pandemic. I only started to interact with ppl more during my sophomore year of high school(2021-2022) and I'm forever grateful to have the irl friends I've made. But now with me not being in school anymore I don't get to see my friends as much as before(hell, I haven't even seen them since I graduated in June and most of them are still in high school rn). Ik I could easily message them and such, but I just feel nervous to do so since I always feel like I'm not that important to them(this is due to other reasons that I won't get into). So I'm just alone like I was in 2020, feeling disconnected with my friends cuz of the lack of communication.

Covid-19 was like a 9/11 simulation that took out all my former coworkers. There's former coworkers that I never saw or spoke to again when that first lockdown happened. They're all still alive but gone forever, either due to politics or just lost contacts.
The thing is you really can't say anything. Everyone wants to be friends with open minded people but when they encounter someone who is truly open minded they disagree on one thing and never wanna talk to that person ever again. Like. What. Everyone cries they have no friends, yet it's because you disagree on one thing and suddenly they don't like you anymore. People are just so uptight and set in their ways on their high horse. People need to drop the ego, stop feeling like they're better than everyone who doesnt perfectly align with every single thing. And start being more open. Accept each other. Help one another. Its hard to want to love people but I never get the love back. The world could be so amazing. It could be a place filled with love where everyone co exists. Everyone could benefit. The whole there has to ve competition and killing and suffering is bullcrap. Its all going on because theres a powerful group of people at the top of the world who have no soul and want to be the only ones benefiting from life. Its, at its core, right at the roots, evil. Its pure evil.
I worked in the news industry from 2010 - 2020. When Covid-19 hit, it immediately divided the news station I worked at. Everyone worked at home except for the studio crew & master control, we had to work at the station because our job actually kept the lights on but we were the grunt workers. The remote work also quadrupled our workload because we had to feed everything into the station and then on top of that, do our own job to keep the station running. It was sustainable for the first month but after that I got burnt out and demoralized when I realized the pandemic wasn't going to end. I couldn't take it anymore, I ended up quitting that job and the funny part is, the people who stuck with it, ended up losing their jobs a year ago because of automation. I just think it's insane how politicians and the news media want to sweep this under the rug like it never happened. We all lived through it and still think about it today. Our whole system basically collapsed but the average people kept it up and no one noticed the power shift yet.

2020 changed everybody, and not for the better. Maybe it’s just more prevalent now but I have never interacted with so many people who are completely disconnected from reality.
People have also only been getting dumber and dumber and now people just don’t give a fuck.

I took a hit of my vape pen and realized that technically we are already in the year 2025. When the year change from 2024 to 2025, the number that changes is number of years "completed". When Jan 1st 2024 dropped that was the completion of the 2024th year. Even though we haven't reached Jan 1st 2025 doesn't mean that we are not already in the middle of what would be the 2025th year to be concluded by midnight later this year. The middle of the decade has already passed fellas. Don't blink too fast and the 2030's might scare you.

Another wonderful and much needed video. Yesterday I realized how difficult it has become to express one’s viewpoint on most things without being censored in a way or another even by friends and what’s even weirder by people who basically share your views on a given subject. It is so absurd.

I feel similarly. 😢 I love people and I want to help people. But working customer service has showed me how nasty most people are now. I hate to say it. But it's so true. People are just so disgusting inside and out now. You can be as nice and respectful to them as you want nobody cares. I've had someone actually attack me for being happy. He was mad that I was smiling. So now I carry a gun in my purse everywhere I go.

It seems to me like people think the 2020s are different than any other decade. While this might be somewhat true, keep in mind that the 2010s were already bad in their own way, and so were previous decades. Its only going to get worse every decade, so lets appreciate the 2020s while we still can, because the 2030s will be closer to hell (literally).
For right now, I recommend everybody turns to Jesus. At this point, we dont know what's coming next, and hes our only hope.

i have loving parents that i am very honest with and see almost every week and im pretty happy in life but have been bottling up a lot of frustrations with friends keep falling into the same bad habits over and over and rely on others to support them including me, meanwhile I suffer from chronic migraines with nausea for 3 days at a time and nobody is there to help me. I agree 100% about the gov and stimulus. Money can't fix bad habits and even fuels them. Meanwhile, I invest every extra penny and don't waste anything and still have to drag myself into work, etc. and there i no gov support for chronic migraines and how much they hold us back in life. I'll be fine though because I will continue to find new ways to progress in this world of the lost.

completely agree, i was watching news out of chine from nov 2019 and getting ready with food and avoided the long lines at the grocery store once lock down started in feb, I wore my mask but questioned why people would go get tested in a parking lot let alone a jab, so i never got either seemed like super spreading zones to me. Luckily 2 friends of mine thought the same way and a few more not so much of friends but my entire family thought i was a nut job, and then politics on top of that and riots, I was left feeling like society as a whole let me down and still do. Not sure how I will feel if this election goes the way I don't want.
