This might be a shot in the dark. But zoro has had 2 near death experiences. The first time “nothing happened.” The second time we can see he has an interaction with the grim reaper. Assuming it’s enma “the king of hell,” then this has HUGE Buddhism references along with egghead. Enma is known as the king of hell, rescinding in the realm of Jigoku, one of six realms of Buddha. Enma’s chief duty is to judge the souls of the newly dead and send them on to their next location. Enma may seem fearsome and terrifying, at heart, he is a kind and compassionate god, and he truly wishes to save each soul from damnation. This may be why the souls of the dead are given so many tests and trials to avoid going to hell. Zoro recently remarked that enma is testing him and claimed to be the king of hell. Zoros conquers will is oddly different then what we’ve seen so far, he has ashura. In some Buddhist traditions, the realm of ashura is considered to be the lowest level of heaven, and gets included among the “happy” rebirths. However, because ashura are so controlled by their emotions, it is almost impossible for them to achieve enlightenment, become buddhas, and escape the cycle of endless reincarnation. Souls who are reborn here are usually humans who lived good lives up to a point, but committed some wicked deed which prevents them from being reborn in the realm of heaven, sounds like Zoro! What if enma is trying to guide zoro to understanding ashura. Again enma seems fearsome but wants help, and zoro so far has passed Enmas trial when fighting king. When appearing it could easily just mention ashura leaving zoro curious. Zoro out of everyone want to ask vegapunk a question? Just showing ashura we could get a lot of info. But what next? Well I think the way to forge a black blade is you have to die while having a certain strength level and mastery/trust over the will of your blade. Mihawk has Dracula like ties and theres lore with Catholicism and resurrection. Once you die you become apart of your sword, merging souls/wills. That’s why mihawk moves as if his sword is apart of him, casual swings being devastating. But the issue with zoro is he’s “died” twice. His ashura like will seems to revolve around 3. So what if in zoros case because of whatever ashura is he has to die literally 3 times😂 to turn his blades black and in a sense master ashura “reincarnating.” And I theorize that Bonny could use her near death experiment attack on zoro. When she hit the marine he said he saw the “ sanzu river,” definition is three crossings. It’s also in Buddhist mythology and says Before reaching the afterlife, the souls of the deceased must cross the river by one of three crossing points: a bridge, a ford, or a stretch of deep, snake-infested waters. Whether you need to really die or be near death idk, but with whatever information vegapunk could give us after zoro shows him ashura and ask it could work. He might have to cross the worst bridge and be the final trial for it. Either way that could be what either gets him 3 black blades since he’s fully tamed all 3, or either in addition or by itself master ashura. Meaning he could potentially use it for like a gear 4 level time limit. And just for supporting evidence for the sanzu river Bonny thing, if they see the sanzu river it also mentions this. Similarly to the Sanzu-no-Kawa, there is also the Sai no Kawara. ("Riverbed of Death"), a boundary by which the souls of children who died too early cross over to the realm of the Dead, with the help of Jizō, a Kami/Bodhisattva who helps the souls of children who died too early to avoid the attentions of the Oni and of Shozuka-no-Baba and Datsueba. During his trial crossing bridge he may see kuina, and has to make peace with certain things or do something. That near death experience could be when he interacts with wado ichimonji in the form of kuina. Wado also has Buddhist lore with the realm Tendo.

This whole issue depicts many philosophical aspects about reality, energy, perception and identity, it is fascinating how Oda webs tem in into the One Piece lore. It gives the story so much deeper meaning than a simple fighting/adventure shonen manga, I love it!

Much like you have implied and even stated throughout your videos, I believe that all superpowers in the universe of _One Piece_ are connected. Specifically detailed explanations of the science in that universe, the soul, Haki, Devil Fruits, the Six Powers - anything - necessarily involve connecting these fictional powers together. Imagine may be only one of the puzzle pieces to connect it all together. The anticipation and imagination are keeping me enthused.

Perception and imagination allows us to give definition to what is normally chaos. Some people just function on higher wavelengths. Understanding the souls feelings etc usually come from a place of chaos/undefined, as it can be fickle or strong.
One of the first lessons about devil fruits that we learn at the beginning of the series is that the most powerful users are those who have the greatest imagination. They are the ones that have the ability to think up crazy ways to utilize their devil fruits to their full potential.
I do love the idea of the elders powers are powers that was created with technology from the void century and the idea of the robot on egghead energy coming from imagination because every time we cut back to it its only activated when luffy is in awaken form a form that’s purely imagination
The future of One Piece beyond the Pirate Era is going to be CRAZY. It’s like how our Real Life Pirate Era is nothing compared to our Current Super Power Nation Era. You can’t beat Hydrogen Bombs and Atomic Bombs. Once that specific scientists learns how to break into the Meta Science of the One Piece World it’s game over. Only thing that can combat them are the Broken Devil Fruit Users who are Powerful Haki Users

After kol, mentioned about luffy potentially being able to produce an undying flame, i was thinking that maybe the only way to do lasting damage to immortal characters like the gorosei is by using the undying flame. That could potentially prevent them or slow down their regeneration.
There was a guy who said he knew some things about the onepice story and started leaking them, he was the only one that ODA sued maybe he was telling the truth idk, but he said that the one piece (spoiler maybe) was a nuclear reactor/energy source.
I'm sold. If everything has a mass, including once soul then all makes sense. Because mc▪︎ = e. So, haki is the ability to use once soul as you would use any other part of your body and devilfruits make you able to use the energy that is all around the world in a specific way. Dude!! it's fkn perfect. It would be something like field theory in quantum physics Idk. And the sea curse could be that when you are in contact with water you cant interact with this energy field, which would leave you obsolete since the devil fruits affect every cell of your body, which means that if you cut part of their energy source they will stop doing the function that uses outside energy. (You lose your powers and become weakened)

@@1nick11 Oh ok. He’s definitely ignorant…but he’s not wrong. Haki is a neutralizer. That science includes haki already. The energy sources mentioned includes haki, but as we can see there are different presentations of haki even. The black and the haki which travels through the body. If paid attention the black haki itself is does similar things to the body that devil fruit does which is it modifies it. Remember Zoro’s arm and Enma, it transformed it I. an instant to a twig but Zoro pump the mass back out with haki. Zoro also that gorilla move where pumps up his muscles (that might a bit different since it could be air but that makes less sense that creating mass🤷🏽♂️🥲🤣).

My one thing with imagination is the energy idea your coming from, tying into Nika and how radical and "Limitless" it can be due to having said free range with "Imagination". So by using your view, he has limitless energy to pose on the world to "become real" and himself to do the weird stuff. If that all is true, why does he still run out of steam in gear 5?? Yes, we saw ONE time in wano where he re-started, but he hasn't done that at all yet since then. So if he truly has limitless potential -> limitless imagination -> and thus limitless energy then it doesn't make sense by your logic that luffy should run out of stamina in gear 5? Hell, he shouldn't run out of anything that requires engery/stamina like haki.
