I love Kathy’s “can do” attitude! I’m also a 58 year old gal from Texas and feel the same. We can do anything we just set our minds to! I sure enjoyed this interview and tour. I have a 2003 E-150 hi-top but mine had 180k miles when I bought it in 2021…. Still going strong and like Kathy, I put new tires on, had a thorough tune up etc. before traveling long distances…. I’m headed over to subscribe to Kathy’s channels.
Kathy is a wonderful friendly woman. I met her in Quartzsite a couple years ago😁I stumbled on her channel while I was watching RUclips RV channels and I recognized her as a camper close to where I was camping. So I drove over to say hello 😊
Wow, what an upbeat, positive and lovely spirit she has. Love this interview and her no build building is great! Thank you Bob for showing the array of builds you find. Safe travels with much love and many blessings
GREAT video!! Kathy is the “real deal”! She has put forth the effort and work that it takes to live the van life…to savor the good…and to overcome the challenges. This video is up there with the best!!
I really enjoyed listening to Kathy, she’s a wonderful person to have for a guest. Thank you Bob, appreciate your channel and the inspiring folks who help make this informative & fun!
Great positivity Kathy. Have a great life on the road. I’m in Quartzsite as a first time snowbird since this past November (retired Montreal Canada teacher - age 66) living in my truck camper and looking forward to meeting so many great people at the RTR and big tent. Also I have many wonderful neighbours here at the Hi Jolly BLM. I’ll head back to Canada in April following the good weather on the way. Had the honor to meet Dave the Campulanceman RUclipsr and hopefully other inspiring nomad RUclipsrs as well.
Cathy is a smart woman. A kind of person that says, don't think it is any harder to live this life, than it is. I am wondering about her dog ...how big and what breed and how old. Dogs are great companions. Thanks Bob for featuring her on your Channel. See you on your next one.
I absolutely LOVE listening to Bob talk or carry on a conversation!!!!! I just listened to LIVE feed January 8, 2020.....Totally awesome, I laughed so hard when he saw the coyote and how he said it and there after.....He is so genuine and hard for him to concentrate on talking when his eyes are clearly on that coyote.....I myself feel like Lucille Ball half the time and especially when on the chocolate bon bon conveyor belt job and Bob sorta was flustered like that when he seen that coyote and trying to get Cody in van, lost his Mic, camera twisted etc. GOTTA LOVE THAT FELLA, Genuine true to be and nothing scripted or rehearsed.....I gotta meet him some day, definitely on my bucket list.....I love watching the Q & A's and Sueanne remains calm all the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really enjoyed this interview with you and Kathy. What an upbeat young lady she is. VERY energetic, inspiring and free spirited. I’m not a nomad “yet,” but just listening to her story, encourages me to take the plunge. Thanks again Bob for bringing such wonderful video content for those of us who are considering a f/t nomad life. Happy New Year!🎉🥂🎊🥳🚐😎
Thank you Kathy for sharing your van life and experience. Your van is very well thought out, and I believe you have he knowledge to teach others who are curious about van life. I wish you a successful life on the road!💙
I really like your vest. It keeps the things you value the most close to you. That along with a backpack and a fanny pack & you'll have a better set up as a Prepper if that's what you decide.
"Had to get out of rv park" pretty much sums it up. I love it but im old school staying up north dealing with winter by renting a room. Im working on some stuff but at 12°f im not doing to much but watching utube videos n working. Happy travels.
Love it! I have a lot of plastic furniture as well. Love the nomad travel and work life 😊 Good for her! She’s got get up and go! I subbed to both of her channels. Thanks for the interview Bob! Happy New Year! 😊🚐🇨🇦
Vanlife is a contemporary, international, gypsy lifestyle for so many. I do wonder what life will be like when being able to work is no longer possible
I am curious what people with dogs do with their dogs while they are at work? Especially in AZ where the temps can get toasty inside a vehicle even in the winter.
What a can-do attitude Kathy has👍! She pulls into a new town and lets the infinite possibilities of the unknown start to work for her. It's the known where all possibilities have already been accounted for. A little Eastern philosophy from Deepak Chopra to live by✌️.
I’d highly suggest this lady get SUMO springs for the rear of her van. It’s a 150 and already overloaded especially with all that weight extended out on the rear.
Hello, I just watched the video with Kathleen from eight years ago and she was 63 at the time Could we have an update how Kathleen is today and how her journey has been? It’s so scary that seniors who work their whole life have to resort to living fighting the elements in a vehicle
Sir, I have a ?? Can a hackers 100w solar panel be used to charge a Bluetti AC2A ?? Thanks for all the great videos. Hamm from Kennewick Washington State
Can anyone offer any words of advice on finding a van or vehicle to buy I've been at this for almost 7 months now and no luck on finding a vehicle? I was hoping to be on the road by mid June of last year but cant find a reliable vehicle because most sellers are hiding problems or choose not to disclose them prior to taking the car on the road to test drive. Most of the vehicles I've been test driving present problems while driving the seller doesn't want to admit to or fix after the test drive. And after asking if they'd be willing to bring it to a certified mechanic they stop responding or say the vehicle has been sold. Is it better to go to a dealer, RV dealer? I've been mostly searching Facebook market place and all the vehicles I've gone to look at all had problems and the seller didn't disclose any of them while showing the vehicle. Really didn't think it'd be this hard to get into RV / Van life.
Nicely done Aunt Kathy! Me and Grandma Barbara have always thought that you would become a superstar in the nomad world, and here you are. Love you
“Get past having to have all the answers”…profound and brilliant!
It's called idgaf.🤣🤔
She is wearing a safari hat from the 1920s and a fishing vest in the desert. You go girl!
She's wonderful. Loved listening to her
Nicely done. Plywood is heavy. I'm glad you found a way to have a wonderful home. Lighter weight is better fuel mileage.great van!
That van is riding on its tires its so low....doesn't look safe. Nice rig. Some people are really overloading these vehicles
What great lady living her life!!

The dog looks like an Australian Kelpie. I've had a couple of them (I m in Australia). They're sheep herding dogs but also make great pets.
Kathy is my Hero! I wish I had her Courage!
Very Nice. I remember Kathy when she had her original teardrop channel. Safe Travels Kathy 🙂
Great guest Bob great job 👍👍
Wow! Free shower $10 meal and gas discount! Ok found my next Workcamping job! Can’t wait to sub to your channels 😊 I’m in a old van too 😊
Great video! Very inspiring! Thanks.
This woman is wonderful❤ such an inspiration!
A lot of van life jobs also provide a place to park free and hassle free.
I LOVE her gadgets and power sources and simple setup.
"Alice" is a great movie. She had setbacks, a bratty kid, homeless and still persevered.
I need to watch that movie!
She’s a real inspiration! Thanks!
Cathy you have a great attitude. I like your van no build. Very nicely done.

Thanks bob ❤
Super neat Kathy😊
Many people underestimate building with foam. You can't get much lighter and its strong and doesn't mould
Thank you for video. Blessings to you.
What a great video. I love her van and great wealth of information. I will indeed subscribe to her channel!

Thanks Bob
💥INITIATIVE is a spark of the DIVINE💥
Sweet video
Hi Kathy.
Great Video, Thank You both for sharing.👍🐕🦺🇺🇲🙏
Love this. What does she do with her dog when working jobs that don't allow dogs?
I’d highly suggest this lady get SUMO springs for the rear of her van. It’s a 150 and already overloaded especially with all that weight extended out on the rear.
Subscribed to both channels.
Love this!❤
I clicked on the ecoflo link, it went to bluetti 😮 i like ecoflo

👍👍👍👍👍👍
From sitting in an office cubicle to now sitting in a tin box with wheels. That's freedom for ya!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Here😊
excellent
Nice video nice woman thanks Bob
omg, i need to know: how long can a gallon of gas run the a/c? because that little unit plus that little generator could be a lifesaver offgrid.
U can also get solar generators that run on your battery bank at night; that way if you're out of fuel, it still works.
Maybe I missed it, but what kind of bed system (platformm, mattress), and how does Kathy secure things?
She's a kick.
Sir, I have a ?? Can a hackers 100w solar panel be used to charge a Bluetti AC2A ??
Thanks for all the great videos. Hamm from Kennewick Washington State
This is wonderful! My question though, isn't the generator loud when running the air conditioner?
❤
Hi could you review my SUV living setup?
Wait, how did we get from working in an RV park to Pilot? I want free daily shower and lunch!
