Its Synaptics first ever pen digitizer, so there are the obligatory bugs that goes with that. They haven't been in the business as long as Ntrig and Wacom, so still a lot to learn. I'm sure there are more updates coming along and hopefully another pen.
When you touch the pen. You activate the function to make no input with your hand on the acreen. So that is what you want when you writing with the pen ;)
Huh. That's a really interesting find and something to think about! Either Wacom digitizers are calibrated very differently, or are fundamentally different from the Synaptics. From what I've seen, the Wacom disable the capacitive (touch) layer if they detect the stylus tip floating. It seems like this is charged enough to simply ignore your whole hand regardless. Does that mean you can't tap things on the screen with your right pinky while you hold the pen in your right hand either? Just means you have to use the pen for taps whenever you're holding it I guess. But that kinda palm rejection is a bit aggressive!
Lol. Bug??? It is not a bug. It is good feature. This prevents accidental hand-pressing while working with a stylus. So you can put your hand on the screen while working with stylus and don't keep it in the air...

I think the firmware updates from Dell are a good idea but I will prefer a Wacom stylus
