    I keep Amazon sords and jungle val in gravel. I push root tabs ( seachem flourish tabs ) every cpl months into the substrate and they thrive. No earth or anything like that. Very easy.

    I try to keep most of my plants in pots. Works out better. If they outgrow an area or another new plant needs that spot..I just move them around. Put some rock and driftwood fronting black pots..nobody notices. Anubias and mosses are on branches. In pots also..you can vary the soil's makeup,make it deeper then you would ever make the substrate in your tank.
    But I see few if any RUclipsrs using common sense practicality to plant keeping. Common sense isn't common!

    What is a good plant Food for Planted Betta tank and for a shrimp tank? Heavily planted shrimp tank and losing them like crazy. Found out there was a warning on my liquid fert regarding potassium.

    How do you ship plants? I have only ever received plants in paper towel or newspaper.

    • @LRBaquatics
      @LRBaquatics  5 лет назад

      I dont ship with paper towel or newspaper it will kill and smother the plant. I blow air into a bag and create a lil terrarium for them with it and why I and my customers have a lot of success with the plants. Even if you put them in a bag with no air it will suffocate them.

    Not saying you’re wrong or I’m right, but that ludwigia looks like repens to me. I’ve always thought that ludwigia arcuata had thinner leaves.
