দ্য ডায়েরী অফ এ ইয়ং গার্ল, অ্যান নামের সেই মেয়েটি আজ সারা বিশ্বে বহু পরিচিত। জন্মসূত্রে ইহুদী কিশোরী অ্যান ফ্রাঙ্ক (Anne Frank) ১৯৪২ সালে নেদারল্যান্ডস দখলের সময় নাৎসিদের অন্যায় জোর-জুলুম, নিপীড়ন অত্যাচার ও হলোকস্টের হাত থেকে বাঁচতে গুপ্তকক্ষে তাঁর পরিবারের সঙ্গে আত্মগোপন করতে বাধ্য হয়েছিলেন। প্রায় দু বছরের বেশি সময়ে সেখানে তাঁদের দিন কেমন কাটত, কীভাবে তাঁরা ধরা পড়লেন, তাঁদের মর্মান্তিক পরিণতি নিয়ে এবারের এপিসোড। মৃত্যুর পর তাঁর ডায়েরী প্রকাশ পায় এবং পাঠক মহলে সাড়া ফেলে দেয়। আজ তিনি যে কোনও বিদ্বেষ-অত্যাচরের বিপক্ষে লড়াকু মানুষের প্রেরণাস্বরূপ। তিনি অমর।
The Diary of a Young Girl, the girl named Anne is well known all over the world today. Anne Frank, a Jewish teenager by birth, was forced to hide with her family in a secret annex during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands in 1942 to escape the Nazis' unjust coercion, persecution, and the Holocaust. This episode is about how they spent their days there for more than two years, how they were caught, and their tragic end. After her death, her diary was published and the readership responded. Today she is an inspiration to people fighting against any hate-tyrant. She is immortal.
