What the hell this really worked. My headphones kept having these weird volume/loudness fluctuations. One moment the volume was ok and the next it significantly lowered by itself. This helped and now the quality is constant. I recommend playing around with the various settings. See what fits YOU best but the presets are good indeed
Do I have to leave data on to run this app when using my phone. I leave data and wireless off, and use my cell as a phone that texts. My earbud volume is very low, esp. calling certain numbers. Very odd that some numbers are much lower than others, not sure what to make of that? It wasn't an issue until my volume on earbuds degraded and I use them for all calls. Cleaned all my ports, which helped speakers, which helps for speakerphone only.
Great video. This is the app. for me. Having left/right balance is a gamechanger. Fx Sound does the same for Windows. It is more than an equalizer it has filters built in and good pre-sets too. One thing I use it for is cleaning up sound (voice) on RUclips, but it's great fo Music as well. Thanks for these ongoing superb vlogs.
Nolepower Thanks for the feedback! Please consider sharing the video and information on your social media, it really helps to get the message out there.
works better then 8 other ones I tried others just add distortion.. I still get a tiny bit with this but been playing around with & getting 2 almost none.. thanks
Ty this helped my Pixel 6 with Soundcore Life A2 NC ear buds. Volume low before and this app is easy to use and boosted the volume, and now it's much more enjoyable Thumbs up
Yup. Nice tip & app. My TOZO NC9 buds are a little low, and this app with my own tweaking gets the volume up by 5db I didn't use the EQ just dB booster. EQ I use is set by poweramp for my music. . Cheers.
Great video thanks Mike. Last night I was thinking to myself "I wonder how much Google really knows about me?" But then my Android phone texted me the message "not much". So I feel better now.
I am hard of hearing. I have an online class that just wasn't loud enough at max volume (in spite of other apps giving fine volume at vol = max). So... a wholehearted thank you.
Asking a question here, using fast cars as an analogy. To make a fast car you put an oversized powerful motor in the smallest lightest strongest car frame. In earbud technology do you need a powerful signal / power in a strong ear bud frame?
Hello Mike, Thanks so much for your tip on Wavlet app. Coming from older Android device (LG V30) purchased used Samsung S20 Ultra with Android 13 updates. With Bluetooth comparison with db sound level app difference connected to my high end audio system difference is 7.5 db louder on LG V30 ( Android 9.0) Again thanks very much for tip....
Right then I can confirm the 2x kit box's I bought because of Mike's good review on them, they work so much louder and bassier with the app. Try it see for yourselfs .

Yeah I've tried it. Might be my phone's built-in DAC sucks that causes the static on low volumes. Just leaving this here for anyone who is using KZ ZSN Pro or any IEM that's experiencing this.

thanks for giving us your feedback
Do you find that increasing the gain (thus making it louder at lower volumes) degrades the sound quality on earbuds/headphones?
it depends on the product and how the gain is digitally done, some cheaper devices don't do gain control very well
I had the same problem.. my headphones were actually made for pc, and it's connected to my phone using a USB to C adapter !
just tried wavelet with my sennheiser 602 while watching this video on android phone. made a huge differance. thanks for the tip.
