Almost every big name politician is filthy rich. I know in my heart that every single one of them has gotten paid by corporations that they did some kind of favor for.

Exactly. My father works in politics and is far from rich. Mind you he’s in opposition and not government and when you’re in government you’re reasonably well off, but even when my dad was in government he still wasn’t able to afford a $80,000 BMW or that and was only able to afford a $50,000 car which yes is more than most people, but it’s not rich plus most of our money then and now goes to our mortgage. (I live in Australia btw so I don’t know how much you make in American politics and my dad worked as an advisor and only in state politics not federal)
