I think it's worth it. I'm buying one. Spectrum is killer i don't have a remote like this anyway can't wait to get and check it out thanks for update and stay safe ✌️
But androids alone cost that much no ? I mean some are 1300 , sucks because I like to buy RTRS BUT never liked spectrums compared to futaba , I made this far without buying 7px kills me to spend 700 than throw away every receiver I pay for , getting time to stop buying RTRs just stick with what I have , today I almost went bought another grom because I didn’t have stupid pritortary charger had 3 chargers and couldn’t charge the battery 😂 actually like them moving away from balance leads but we long way before they’re comparable , like cool battery but why only 30c they low ball us every step of the way , motors ESCs are cheap as possible to put a number on a box for people who think top speed is everything
Dang they could have put a camera on that...could have been great for making amateur videos of our runs to share with friends! I appreciate the nice screen and a sleeker body which looks more refined than their prior models. But, it still is a bit chunky compared to the competition. As an owner of a DX5C and DX5 Pro, I am skeptical about the overall build quality, though it is not fair to comment on that until I have been able to see and handle one for myself. At the price point, the DX5C build was perfectly reasonable. While the DX5 Pro was a step up in build quality from the DX5C, it seemed like it should have been constructed better than it was for the price. Also I had a look inside the DX5 Pro at the mechanics because I over-adjusted the trigger weight (because the adjustment seemed to do very little), and that adjustment mechanism had come apart...so I had to fish out a piece and put it back together. Otherwise, both DX5s perform well enough and the cost of the radios have been offset by the Losi and ARRMA RCs I have purchased that already come with a compatible receiver. Lastly, didn't their previous attempt at an expensive Android interface transmitter bomb? I don't know if it was the cost or if the interface was buggy, or both, but it is interesting that Spektrum is giving it another go.
Appreciate the vid, JT. In my humble opinion, the Radiomaster MT12 is arguably the best surface radio available with unmatched range, usable options, and price
That's a wicked looking radio and i might buy one after i see some genuine reviews and i save up for it next year. I have an RC8X that i high hopes for but ended in disappointment and distrust of Radiolink as a brand in general i wish i just bought a DX5C or DX5 Pro 2021 instead. The only thing i don't like about the radio is that they don't like is that they don't give you the 6 channel AVC receiver with it or just give you the option to buy just the transmitter and pick out your own receiver for it.
Please tell me what you was taking when you thought of putting this as the best radio you can get, because i want some also what id really like is people to start being honest rather than lie through there teeth just because thay got sent something, anyone who pays 700 for that junk is just insane, maybe its not junk bet there are 100% much MUCH better radios out there for half the price if not more, the flysky noble would be a much better choice and u could get a builders kit aswel for the price of that. You could even build it by time the spektrum turns on 2
Another good video, looks like a good transmitter. But not for me. I have my Radiolink that does the same things with amazing range. And my Flysky. But I will say, maybe Traxxas will try to compete and finally bring out a more advanced radio.
As a left handed hobbyist, I've never understood support for left handed people on transmitters. 99% of left handed people aren't going to have learned to drive on a left handed transmitter. Only 10% of the population is left handed. So, just like left handed computer mice and left handed scissors, i leave left handed transmitters to the weirdos who somehow find them more comfortable compared to the way that 99% of them learned. Maybe I'm old fashioned 😂
I don't get all the hate. Yeah, it cost a lot. It's their flagship model. They make cheaper ones. It's far from the most expensive transmitter out. Ask the air guys if $700 is a lot. It seems like a great radio. I might get one. If you don't want one that's fine also. Anyone upset because they think it's overpriced has to really hate Traxxas anything. I've had much more success with Spektrum stuff than i have Traxxas electronics and Traxxas is king of "premium pricing".
Too much money, too many features, 99% of people won't use, and the jury is still out of the range. The 1 year old RadioLink RC8X I have has lots of features as well, and I am guessing, way better range. I also just ordered the RadioMaster M12. That one from what I've seen is a way better value, with tons of range and features. But, I am sure spektrum fans will still pick this one up.
Glad I read comments I keep mixing these two up , everyone raving about radio master I think it’s capable linking with different receivers , I was sold on RX8 and one RUclipsrs took it out of cars and put 7px back in I think said had a problem linking them or something but he already had 7px and of course the futaba would be better it’s 3 times the price and receivers are expensive.
Really wish you had pressed the gear icon in the Android settings and showed us what Android version this radio is running. What happens when they want you to buy a new radio? They stop supporting the version of Android you are currently running. Being someone who uses older Android phones, I know how often I run into apps that don't run on my device.
How much is dx6 fact is futaba is far better performance 🎭 but I like buying RTRs atleast with dx6 have good radio without throwing out the receivers I probably should’ve done same now I have like 5 brands and none I could show up at the track 😂
The only thing it needs is a camera to record your RC'S.
that would be sweet! guess you could mount one 🤔
I think it's worth it. I'm buying one. Spectrum is killer i don't have a remote like this anyway can't wait to get and check it out thanks for update and stay safe ✌️
Np. I do think it's cool
Glad you got a free radio, me boy! Deserved for all you do for us toy buyers. They drunk asking 700 for an android on a stick.
But androids alone cost that much no ? The only thing missing on that thing is cell phone service 😂

now compare it to the Radiomaster MT12.

Man that's an awesome radio! the features are cool as hell, but 700?

Another good video, looks like a good transmitter. But not for me. I have my Radiolink that does the same things with amazing range. And my Flysky. But I will say, maybe Traxxas will try to compete and finally bring out a more advanced radio.
who owns 250 rc? 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻
I do. still not buying a $700 radio.
I own a CR 250 😂
I’m sure plenty of people do I probably owned at least a 100 in my lifetime and I’m just a working man 🧍♂️ imagine how many jt owned having a channel

"Ask the air guys if $700 is a lot." Yes, but it's not a 20 channel Air radio; it's a 6 channel surface radio.
Yea at 700 i will pass
People still use spectrum? 😢
I hope you got this free because it not worth 700
😊

Suprising all the rc channels put this crap up today. Guess they are paying you guys to say this crap is awesome. Sell outs
Absolutely unnecessary.
7 years old , thats a dx6r in new case and new android version! Nothing more🤣🤣🤣
That’s like saying futaba 3pm is same as 7px they use same frequencies
How much is dx6 fact is futaba is far better performance 🎭 but I like buying RTRs atleast with dx6 have good radio without throwing out the receivers I probably should’ve done same now I have like 5 brands and none I could show up at the track 😂
So we paying 700 for that lol keep that shit radiolink all day joke
